Cheers Steve, A.D. is a great fragrance, Iquitos is probably more popular with the vintage collectors. Price points outside Japan are big for both these fragrances, a fragrance called Hommage was released in honor of his passing in 2024, by Lalique. Cheers great price for sure Steven 💪👊🤛

I recently found Bvlgari Blv Notte Pour Homme after searching for it for years. I got the 3.4oz bottle. I ended up paying $150 with tax but worth it because its no longer available. I fell in love with Blv Notte Pour Homme when it was released back 2004.

So I have been getting into House of Sillage and the trend number nine was sent to me as a gift with purchase, and it smells exactly like the rule 925 stores

Awesome fragrance I'm on my second vintage bottle recently purchased one for a very good price it a 1998 release year bottle.

my friend it is a counterfit bottle and not authentic, u got scammed, caps like this come only on 2010-2011 batches, but the sprayer from the bottle is from 2015 at least. thats why the cap sitts so wanky, its not made for that kind of sprayers. Its a refilled bottle. the bottle did not change collour because its a refill, i have a 15x01 and its greenish juice. and u can clearly see that it is green. if it would be real 30ml are worth around 250-300 Euros. erwin creedn did also not made the scent or hernault, its all a hoax, they never were parfumers in the first place, creed is made on a pile of lies lmao. the only man who created it is pierre. also how u describe the 15x01 is complete wrong, it is a dark gothic batch, earthy and dense, more on the currant side, really dark and nothing bright or citrusy/woody. sorry for your loss, i hope u did not pay much because its more than easy to open this bottles and refill them.

I just discovered for myself that Aqva Marine has two different reformulation. One smell like seaweed and the other smell citrusy. I own the citrusy one which actually smells very attractive, but I could see why they would want to discontinued the seaweed one; it smells too seaweed. Who in the hell wants to smell like seaweed in the office? The question is, what are they going to do with the citrusy reformulation? Are they going to put in a different bottle, or is that one also being discontinued?

Just a heads up, i have a batch from 2023 F001397. Its incredibly heavy and dense on the smoke, its like there was a layer of ash over all the other accords. Very dense musk, and a super bright and poppy pineaple that pokes through, but is still covered in smoke.

I just buy a bottle when it finishes. Never cared much about the batch craze. Have they all smelled slightly different ? Yup but not gonna care too much about it. Just bought an F batch a few months ago and its fruity and more citrusy for sure but performs pretty well on me compared to my previous bottle from 2019 which was a birch batch. Nice smelling dna and great pick up 👍

Cheers Steven, big fan of Aventus, I am not a dragon chaser on the batches lol 😆, I have a 2018 50 ml and a 15 ml decant 2011 , a buddy gave it to me some years ago , sniffed it last week and it is in a proper glass 15 ml bottle stored perfectly and it’s turned I was gutted, I asked him did he have his bottle and he did , about half full and he reported oh it smell funny, so yeah Steve they can turn for sure , great vid enjoy it brother before you fall foul like my buddy and my little 15 ml 💪👊🤛

I have the same batch star men and it lasts 6 hours at first spray, now i'm gonna let it macerate for three weeks and see if it changes

Nishane’s Hacivat is a good substitute for Aventus. Pineapple that actually lasts and it has a fantastic oak moss dry down

I think the EDP is better because it is more mature ( but not dated ) - which I love it.

I prefer the move over invictus. The dry down got me compliments from women

Dang! I want that! :) Nice find. One of the fragrances that made me realize the world of fragrance was vast in my teen years. My sense is the batch code stickers needed to be used up and they just put the current batch code on the old ones. It's probably a 1992. $42.50USD today would be $95USD. Eternity EDP is like the EDT but all grown up. I love that one too, but usually wear it in the fall/winter. Keep em' coming! Cheers. :)

Haha I remember those Greek columns in the ads too. 😄 So many brands trying to play off of that Adonis theme. But dear gawd is that a great price for a vintage. You do know how to find 'em. I kinda like the new edp too. It's not exactly the same scent, but at least it had the longevity when it first came out. Unfortunately so many of the other flankers are lackluster at best. For an everyday wear, this vintage kicks butt.

I appreciated every nuance in your homage. I’d never heard about the staff blowing the store version (a different version than the actual bottles) into the vents. I immediately returned a brand new bottle I’d purchased through Walmart and immediately bought an original red label (clear) bottle from EBay. Immensnsely thankful for the unmistakable fragrance/potency differences.

To each their own...I like Blue Jeans. I also like other fragrances that others might not like. I have Versace Eros and Eros Flame, Prada L'Homme, Allure Homme sport Eau Extreme, Azarro Wanted By Night EDP, Antonio Puig Quorum, Acqua Di Gio Profumo, Bleu De Channel EDP, 9PM EDP, Versace Blue Jeans, Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Polo Red, Gucci Guilty, Halston Z-14(was my Dad's, rip).

Only Blue and Red Jeans are still available to buy. I've only seen the Red Jeans online at Jomashop,La Belle,or FragranceNet. I think Amazon and Walmart also have them online but are available through 3rd party. ForeverLux is a good seller through them, just FYI. Also, Red Jeans is for women.

i have a ADG from Cosmair Inc. Batch code UY345. The color of the vintage ADG was yellowish, since i can remember its not that it went bad or anything, thats the original color.

This cologne is fire! I have this cologne and it smells amazing! My dad used to wear this one when he was in high school along with polo green and Perry Ellis as well. This will always be a classic!

You should be looking for a*men first formula. (Thierry Mugler not Mugler). Or at least a pre-2016 formula when they've changed it to Mugler. It's an awesome juice, worth to have.

I have a little 1oz bottle coming monday (thats basically all you can find nowadays plus a few minis here and there). Very excited because this has a rep as "the mossiest" lol

gotta keep in mind that the original version you have there, is one hell of a mess of a reformulated fragrance.

I've actually been waiting for a Star Men Havane or Tonka because I hate having to use juice out of my bottles. Fortunately when it comes to Pure Coffee, I just layer my old A*Men or Cuba Prestige with Fragrance World's Qahwa and it's even better than the Mugler. Not even kidding. You ain't kidding about clone prices though. Crazy how they've doubled and even tripled in the last decade in response to both demand and the economic downturn.

I have several of the original Angel Men (green star) formulations and the rest of the iterations following. In my humble opinion, they are all wonderful. The original Angel Men is nuclear and the following formulations that read Thierry Mugler A*Men on the box are not to far behind. The MUGLER version may be a little lighter and the longevity a little shorter, but not by much. It is one of my all time favorite fragrances. I have so many memories tied to this one, sooooooo many:) Have a great day.

They just released A*Men Fantasm for men, so A*Men line is not dead.

I used GoogleLens to do an image search for that recycling symbol on the back and this was what showed up. "The Green Recycling Dot This label is fairly meaningless as it has no bearing on whether the packaging can be recycled or not. It only means that the producer has made "a financial contribution" towards the recovery and recycling of packaging. A noble effort but is it placed on the packaging to earn brownie points? We believe this sign should not be placed on any packaging as it is deceptively similar to recycling labels, but doesn't add any value."
