@@NEDWATTY80 what bike?
I recently purchased a 2019 FLHTK with a Rekluse clutch. The dealer is taking it back to do some work on it later this week because the clutch is having some issues - Hight RPM slip and Squeal/Chatter on starting out, and the manual clutch action is frustrating to say the least (more aggressive riding demands speed shifting because the manual clutch lever is basically locked out). I'm not sold on the Rekluse (bad first taste I suppose), but I've not rejected it outright either. It's been a year for you, do you still like the Rekluse? Do you know if what I'm experiencing is an "easy" fix and/or is it something I should watch out for in the years to come?
@@jodywood how much torque does your bike have? Mine never slips. I did have an issue once starting out like it was trying to engage 1st at idle. I just readjusted it and it’s been fine since.
I had ordered mine during Black Friday for my RG3. I have it sitting in the box still, I was planning on having the mechanic at my dealership install it during this winter. When I spoke to him to ask about having it installed, he said it was a waste of money and suggested for me to return it. He said he’ll install if I really want it installed but he’s had a lot of people come back with issues with them. Has anyone here have any updates on your Rekluse systems? It was expensive and can imagine installing will cost a good amount as well. I still have a month to return it and get my full refund on Revzilla if I need to return it.
It’s still the best upgrade I’ve ever done any any of my bikes. Not that hard to install and worth every penny!!!
@ thank you Sir!! Watching your video back in December is what lead me to do more research on it and seems like a great investment. I’m a Disabled Veteran with wrist issues and was hoping this will help me, especially while I’m riding in the city with stop and go traffic.
@ Thank you for your service! You sir definitely need this then!
@ thanks!! I won’t be returning my kit and will be having them installed. I appreciate your input.
Excellent video installing mine lowers today from Amazon and they are fantastic. Your video made it easy!!
Cant be too good, he closed his helmet shield
I did this to a 17 Road Glide, but I used the softail version, that puts the relocator on the left downtube. I also ditched the hoses and clamps, and had hoses made at a race shop that are rated for hot oil and braided. Race car style AN fittings, where the lines screw on to the relocator and adapter. 10K, not one leak.
There is no control readings. Your test is invalid.
Can a Mustang backrest go into that Chrome slot?
A back up camera on a motorcycle?? Ahh, if you can’t swivel your head around to see enough to back, maybe you should quit riding.
I actually have a problem with my neck and can’t swivel around to the rear but it won’t stop me from riding. Thanks for the advice.
I admire your determination. 👍🏼
My starter went out at bike week and rented a U-Hull truck in less than 5 mins

Hello can you tell me the Model of your seat bike Please ? Thanks

How do you change the actual shift rod on the back, the one that comes out of the transmission???
Is your sissy bar 16 inch or the 22 inch thx. Frank
Had finding neutral on my 1200 Sporty Custom, not on any other bike, so thanks for hint.
We’re did you get the switch for the air ride and the leg stand
@@rubenhernandez9451 I don’t remember. Sorry. I’ll see if I can find the link.

Fellow deputy sheriff (patrol Sgt) from NC. I bought this seat for my 2022 Road Glide ST with the passenger pillion and the back rest. Only issue I had was the backrest didn’t “secure” and would pull right out. I’m still investigating why that is. Nice bike 🤘🇺🇸
Still my favorite seat. No issues with the backrest. Stay safe out there! 👮🏼♂️
@ Thanks. I had to find a bracket for the seat bolts since the previous owner put a 2 up Saddleman SDC seat on it and took the bracket off. Wonder if I put it on backwards or something, but it bolted up. Lol
lol as long as you figured it out.
Have you found anything that works. I just bought a Harley and it ran hot on me before I could get the thing home.
Change the oil to a premium brand like redline or others. That will help some.
So how many breakdowns in total?
Nothing a can of WD40 couldn’t fix 😊
My god dude get your thoughts together before you put out a sentence it's torture listening to you talk
@@TruthSlayer11 I got an idea… don’t watch.

I thought I saw a bike on another video looked like yours on side of road on dalton…was hoping wasn’t yours! 36 and snow July 4😮
@@rmoran113 wasn’t mine 😄
Did you use heated jacket and pants?
@@rmoran113 I didn’t have any heated gear with me but when you head towards Deadhorse that early in the year, you’ll probably need it. When I was due to go through on July 4th, the forecast called for 36 degrees and snow.
Can’t wait till end May….KW to DH

Beautiful country, nice ride. Thank you.
@@erniealonzo536 it was definitely the ride of a lifetime.
Change the oil and check the tire pressure. Yep. That's it.
Will this work on a 2019 Harley tri glide ultra?
Check their website, they list all the models there.
I had problems with my 2015 Freewheeler shifting and would not find neutral. I flushed the clutch system and replaced it with fresh fluid. Problem solved. The bike shifted smoothly after that.
Dude you don't say if the Roland sands shifter works for a twin cam engine. I have a 2008 Road King classic which has a 96 cubic inch engine. Can you get back with me on this please?
@@Michael-ek8rz you can go with pretty much any decent aftermarket part. It doesn’t have to be Roland sands.
Aren’t you supposed to check the runout on the crankshaft and the alignment between the chain gears on the clutch and the man o war before final assembly? And I believe the compensator bolt is torque to yield. Not reusable.
@@1962egl I did but it wasn’t recorded.
So this is quite a lot more involved than I thought it would be
How come you didn't make sure the chain was lined up with a straight edge?
spot on ! ask his staff he gives nothing! has huge turnover

You should have shown the other side first. the one with the wires
Another reason I’ll be using a hammock😂
600 mi a day is an ass whoopin lol. Lots can change weather and crappy roads.i try to stick to the back roads. When i was young and not retired i did it like you. Blast on through and get back to work. It is tough on you. Be safe brother 🙏 God bless you on this trip 🙏
I didn’t maintain 600 per day. I kept it right around 500.
We had the same crazy wind from Billings to Buffalo Wy. It was scary and dangerous. It was a bad decision to ride that day.

Hi Ron - It’s Gail, the wife of “The simple homeowner”.. My brother is also named ron. well, i still call him “ronny” even though we are both in our 60’s now, lol. we got a kick out of your live show. He bought the Honda trike for me since we are in our 60’s now, im not as big into crawling up on two wheels with his short little legs holding both of us, lol. 😂. a funny story about the 2006 road king, is he sold that well over a year ago, but longed to get it back. he put a lot of money into it and missed it. he had sold it and then got a newer fancier harley of some sort, but sold that since he doesnt ride alot. well, that didnt last long, and he started looking to buy a cheaper older bike that wont break the bank. he saw his 2006 harley on market place from the man that bought it from us. we went to see it and it was in sad shape. still looked nice but didnt run well, hard to start, other issues. so, we walked away. bryan was so sad, so we offered 1/2 knowing we have to dump money but we bought it back and trailered it straight to. the mechanic. they did some stuff to it, 800 bucks later, it still has some issues, and its back in the shop today but he loves that bike and it will be in safe and tip top shape soon. Your dog is absolutely gorgeous! is he a “winarimer”? not sure how to spell it but looks like the ones i have seen. im sure if you tell people a day ahead or even days ahead, of your live show, more will clear their schedule to see it. I used to follow a young banjo brother team and loved their live streams, but often their subs missed out as they gave no notice at first. later, they realized to give others a heads up. for the “down time” maybe have some bullet points ready to go, to get the convo going. you are brave traveling all those places. it was fun hearing about the alaska trip. so, yeah, talk about all that stuff, bring energy to the show and more will chime in. im still a small fry in the youtube world, but did notice that youtube is pushing “us” to do live videos, so i noticed the ones that i follow, do it often now. when you get a couple of viewers (live) make them feel loved. although its only two (at the moment) they love you. 😊. more will show up over time, you will see. welp. it was nice “meeting” you for the first time, watching over my hubby’s shoulder. sounds like the show, with other tubers, will be a blast. see ya down the road. 😊
Hi Gail! Thank you for being my biggest fan lol! I really appreciate the tips and pep talk. The next show will be next Tuesday and I'll have a special co-host. :-)
