Donald Trump The Dictator. WTF America? Meta and Fox News have a lot to answer for. The propaganda is rife in much of the social media realm. Read a real newspaper!

I've been on a Vidal marathon, and this radio interview with the notable politician Jerry Brown is one of the more interesting Vidal talks. One thing that is rarely, and usually never, mentioned is the jw. This is probably because all the notable dissenters, Vidal and Brown included, have jw ancestry.

And it's only gotten worse. Mr. Vidal foresaw the proliferation of ignorant meaningless issues amongst the racist south and Midwest empowering doltish incompetent leaders. He changed his mind about the Clintons later in life, as naive Arkansas idealists thinking they could actually do something for American people, and the only leaders to produce budget surpluses since before the Great Depression. With Trump, we have nothing anymore. Just billionaires doing what they only know what to do..., looking out for themselves and other billionaires.

I believe the three Edgar Box novels are among the best books he ever wrote. They're effortlessly charming; they really sparkle. It's a pity he didn't write more in this vein -- it came so easily to him.

The relevance of their talk is even more acute today. The single largest barrier to the human minds of our younger people is the faux-community built upon social media. Wars are being raged by button-clickers. My father lost a cousin to shrapnel in Vietnam. I lost my own cousins to social media.

This man is much missed. I suspect he would not be surprised at all by the current politically dismal situation we find ourselves with. He was born into and he knew the way many of these morons think although trump is certainly on another level with his narcissism, he is an idiot, lacking any social graces and corrupt to the core.

Richard Harris sounds like a needy bitter blowhard being interviewed by a pateonising populist - I don't t doubt the book and movie is inaccurate but if you intend to criticise authors and directors at this level then stage Limerick anecdotes of how wonderful the place was doesn't really cut it - surprising how ordinary a ranconteur Harris is considering his life and profession- totally unconvincing

If I could ask him; Gore a few questions. What is each Americans civic duty in the scope of actively securing their republic or...democracy? Every citizen actively participating in the election process local, state & federal...every election cycle from legal age? Is that where we failed, are we all culpable?
