Great unhaul again! I need to do one as well (oh, the battle for space). The Country without Humans almost sounds like "Somali and the Forest Spirit" which I am also thinking about unhauling because it was never finished and the last volume feels rushed. It's beautiful, though! Additionally, I am currently fighting myself through X 1999 from Clamp - I know it's a classic and a fan favourite but the characters' reactions and behavior often don't make much sense to me (overreactions to mundane things like beeing greeted by a stranger and on the other hand not enough reaction to really traumatic scenes). I was such a big fan of Kamui when I was a teen (I had only read 3 volumes then), I feel bad for not liking it anymore. I am only continuing it because I already have all available 18 volumes (got them real cheap used), they are a fast read and I feel like I owe my young self the whole story now.

I’ve unhauled Hell’s Paradise and I went back and forth on that one because of those covers! The covers are amazing but yeah it wasn’t one I was going to reread again. I unhauled A Man and His Cat too. I also have A-Do on the $hit shelf 😂 I just got bored with it and didn’t really care enough about the characters. I’m so surprised that there are robots in this unhaul! 😜

I knew you were going to say A Man and His Cat before you even said it. You've been pretty meh about the more recent volumes whenever you've mentioned them. Hell's Paradise is one of those series I bought early on in my manga reading journey just cause people raved about it but the more manga I read and realized what I enjoyed I could tell it wasn't going to be for me so I sold it off before even reading a volume.

I surprised myself by unhauling King in Limbo. I finished it and realized I would never reread it! I also unhauled The Country Without Humans-I collected 1-5 without reading it thinking I’d love it, and the last three volumes were a slog to finish. But now other people can read these volumes! And I have space.

Unhauls can be tricky sometimes, but there are so many series out there that you just live and move on! Good job! I did the same with Hells paradise some time ago.

I was surprised about A Man and His Cat! I haven’t read it but it’s one you hardly ever seen unhauled! 😆 YAY for more space after unhauling these series!

I have also unhauled Snowball Earth too actually! I liked the concept but I think for me it was trying to be too comedic given its premise (and also the comedy wasn't hitting for me personally as well) which is a shame because I really like mecha stories and was hoping to like this one too

Yikes. That moody face on the cover of Beck looks to be a red flag. From what you've said about Delicious in Dungeon, I may give that series a read.

Seeing videos like this inspire me to collect some manga. I have started since late 2021, Right now i have up to 15 series' most i need to finish collecting, a few I'm up to date with.

Really looking forward to starting Shonen Note Boy Soprano and Delicious in Dungeon now that they're completed. We have similar feelings about Tokyo Tarareba Girls. It's more Akiko Higashimura which is always good but definitely my least favorite of those 3 series. I don't read digital so hopefully we get the followup's in print someday.

I've watched half of Beck and gave up. I liked the music but I didn't care about the protag.

Normally I am scared to watch your videos cause I get so many good recommendations that I have to go out and spend money on. This time I have most of the volumes to the series I am interested in!!!! 😂 Shonen Note I got 1-4 for haft off so I will 100% add it to Septembers TBR. Oh wow, you really went through it in July lol I bought the first few volumes of Beck when it got released in my country and I left it on my bookshelf halfway through too, I don't think I have it in me to continue suffering like this. It's a shame because everyone seems to love it, maybe I'll give the anime a try.

I can’t necessarily say that Beck’s manga is my fav, but the anime definitely is and I think it works better as one. The music, direction, dub, art, and characters all really shine through. I mean it still definitely has its issues but it’s way more of a subdued slice of life with great music/progression and less silly than the manga.

Feel justified in my decision to drop Beck after a few chapters. I only saw positive reviews before this lol

I've been wanting to read Delicious in Dungeon, but its impossible to find the volumes. I'm missing a chunk of the middle of it so I'm waiting to read it, but I started the anime and really enjoyed it.

For now, I finished the anime and that was good. Definitely the type of serious u can reread just to enjoy the interactions of the characters cuz theyre so loveable

Great haul, a few here I'll get at some point. Be prepared for a not so great translation of BR, but it is entertaining. I love the film! I'm looking forward to your thoughts on further volumes of A-DO. I think it will help me decide if i will choose to purchase in the future.

Great haul! I want to know more about Snow ball earth. I saw it this weekend at the bookstore and my wife was really intrigued since it mentioned year 2025 in the back.

I've almost bought a set of Battle Royale about 10 different times but every time I think that as soon as I do it will get announced for a new edition. Those original Dark Horse HP Lovecraft releases are so small it really does a disservice to the art I'm glad we're getting at least one in a deluxe. I hope they continue with more of them.

Nice haul! I've always been interested in trying Battle Royale but I just never got around to it. I'm a fan of Alice in Borderland so I figured that I would probably like it. I was also about to start picking up delicious in dungeon after finishing the anime, but I decided to just wait and get the box set since one was just announced.

Glad to hear about Gannibal. I backed the Kickstarter also so I'm just going to wait until it's released. Fool Night Vol 1 surprised me I went in completely blind and loved it. And you know I love Night of the Living Cat! Hilarious, fantastic art and some of the best mangaka names in the business (Hawkman & Mecha-Roots).
