    Hahahahaha. I went to a “noodle shop” that had a Michelin sign out front. It was awful. The noodles came with 4 tiny pieces of cold chicken and the pork belly with rice paper was worse than any Thai street food I ever had. (I have lived part time in Bangkok and Chiangmai for over a decade so I have eaten a lot of good food at hole in the wall places) I thought it was either a joke (owner with a sense of humor) or as fake as the watches sold at the night market nearby. But…googling Danang Michelin restaurants…..there it was on their site. Both myself and my girlfriend had the “rumbly gut” later that night. I’ve never eaten at any Michelin restaurant before and after seeing that this place somehow made the list…Michelin has zero credibility for me now. I had plans to try Jay Fai in Bangkok. Now I never will.

    Thank you for your videos. We are planning to come to Vietnam for a few months from mid January. Your videos really help us to understand the scene better. Da Nang seems to be a very nice place to begin our voyage - not so busy as Saigon or Hanoi, and yet a city larger than Hoi AN, Hue, etc. I am watching your videos and hope to find suggestions for staying in Da Nang. Keep up your fine work ;o)

    Glad to hear that you are enjoying your time in Da Nang. What is the public transportation like ?

    • @ThePathsBeyond
      @ThePathsBeyond 4 місяці тому

      Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately there is very limited public transportation in Da Nang but with Grab taxi, you can go around with $1-$2 very easily or you can also rent a scooter if you’d like to stay in Da Nang longer which is also very cheap (rent by day costs around 4-5 dollars, rent by month will be even cheaper)
