Watching this series makes me realize how many kits/apprentices died in the books and then their prefixes were never used again! Like- chestnut, primrose, mistle, hope, Cherry, etc. like those are all so cute why haven’t they been used ever again :(

So at the top of the line we have Crystal. Her mate is Mocha and her kits are Jake, Ferris and Whiskers. Only Jake has kits and he first mates with Quince and has Tiny, (later known as Scourge) Ruby and Socks. Then he mates with Nutmeg and has Rusty, (later Firestar) Princess, Filou, Tommy and Luna. Firestar and Princess both have kits so lets start with Princess . (save Firestar for later) *breath* So Princess mates with Oliver and has Livy, Taylor, Zack, Nami and Cloudtail. Cloudtail mates with Brightheart and has Snowbush, Ambermoon, Dewnose and Whitewing. Dewnose, Snowbush and Whitewing have kits. Dewnose mates with Sorrelstripe and has *cough* Myrtlebloom and Bayshine. None of them have kits so lets move on to Snowbush. He mates with Lilyheart and has Honeyleaf, Larksong and Leafshade. Larksong mates with Sparkpelt and has Nightheart and Finchlight. None of them have kits so we go back to Whitewing. Whitewing mates with Birchfall and has *cough, cough* Dovewing and Ivypool. Dovewing mates with Tigerstar II and has Shadowsight, Lightleap and Pouncestep. None of them have kits so to Ivypool. She mates with Fernsong and has Bristlefrost, Thriftear and Flipclaw. If you are thinking we’re finished, no we are not. We still have the Firestar branch to go (sorry 🙁 ). Firestar mates with Sandstorm and has Leafpool and Squirrelflight. Squirrelflight mates with Bramblestar and has Alderheart and Sparkpelt. (Oh no! I forgot to breathe before doing the Firestar branch. Ugh) We already did Sparkpelt’s kits so lets go to Leaf*cough*pool. Leafpool mates with Crowfeather and has Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Hollyleaf. Lionblaze mates with Cinderheart and has Hollytuft, Sorrelstripe, Flywhisker, Spotfur, Snaptooth and Fernsong. *cough, cough* We already did Sorrelstripe and Fernsong so lets go to Spotfur. Hey I think you did this a few times so I just want to let you know I will be using sheeptail and loudnose as the example You mentioned sheeptail passing high white to fallowpelt this can not happen! High white means over 50% of the cat is white and there gene is S/S well loudnose didnt appear to have any white and u didnt mention him having white that makes him W/W you said Fallowpelt was high white aka S/S But! Sheeptail can only pass a S to fallowpelt and Loudnose a W this makes fallowpelt a S/W low white meaning under 50% of the cat is white

You forgot about genes that can be hiden in the parent's but can reappear further down the line in the offspring. This happens when the trate is non-dominate and is shut off within the cells of the parent. But if that offspring mate with another that also has that gene, it can reappear.
