Greatest thing I ever did was go take couple of courses from the master Dru or as I call him Airbrush Elvis because he’s the king.

Anyone bought any of these kits that can review them for me? Its a pricey blind buy though would really like to do one of his courses, being in the UK though makes it unlikely :(

I loved this class!! My background is a soft-pastel wildlife and pet portrait artist. Before I began, I had about 2-5 hours of practice learning how to hold the airbrush and squeeze the trigger, along with a beginner's airbrush setup. I created this tiger, and everyone has a hard time seeing that it's actually a painting, not a photo! I highly recommend this class for anyone interested in wildlife airbrushing. I learned so many awesome airbrush techniques and I can't wait to expand into new subjects. I feel like I hit the "fast-forward" button with a new skill and added tools to my artist' toolbox. Thank you Dru!

wow, transparent pant? I took Dru's class 15 years ago and it was all opaques and color matching. I guess he's finally come over to the dark side! haha Well, I know he hasn't abandoned opaques. First search I even did on him just now after 15 years. Was always amazed by the details and realism back then. Then digital overtook the airbrush for commercial art, I believe. So... now it's prob only commercially viable to do fine art or portraits. I assume. or teach.

That whole double action system makes no sense whatsoever. To believe to achieve any reasonable control over the air flow within a distance of 3mm or what is ridiculous, especially when in the same time pulling the trigger back to control the fluid. I do not know what idiot came up with the idea of it in the first place but it eventually should be abandoned altogether.
