Dude, before I took your class I couldn't even paint a quality cartoon. After 4 days of your course I was painting almost 100% photorealistic works. And you are so right, I never saw the world the same after your class. I actually felt like it was the first time I could see. Man, you are the best teacher on earth and I can't recommend you enough!
I took your photorealism course at the Airbrush Getaway workshop a few years back. People were amazed by the samples I did there. I just wish I could have went to the workshop you had that was on horses. I own one now and plan on working towards a goal of painting horses more. Thanks for your class.
Thank you Drew for the video! If you are about to make a dvd i would like to buy it:) i live in Finland in an area where internet connection is poor at its best:D so hope for the best that dvd is coming soon:DD

I remember a guy back in the day who had a TV instruction class and did a few cassettes on Airbrushing, us guys thought he was going to be bigger than Bob Ross, bout the same time, I think it was PBS too, he taught realism Airbrushing as well. I always wondered what happened to that guy who was a great teacher who did these one or two awesome instruction cassettes then he was gone, disappeared, we waited for him to return, never again to TV or any more Cassettes. They never converted any of his cassettes to DVDs. Someone said Aliens abducted him and took him to Australia to Teach private classes, I said not this guy he would never do that, he wanted everyone to learn how to airbrush to perfection!!! He was a really cool looking dude too, had long hair a tank top, yeah us younger guys thought this guy was an awesome airbrusher, but just disappeared, he LEFT us. Wouldn't know what happened to him, would you?? Now a bunch of old guys still wondering what happened to him!!!
So wait… art that is about concept can’t be beautiful? Does art have to be beautiful? Does abstract art and Impressionism not take skill? Are you knocking Monet and Van Gogh and Frankenthaler? They don’t have skill because they don’t do hyper realism? Hyper realism is beautiful, and your work is beautiful, but hyper realism is not superior to other forms of art.
I don’t think that’s what he’s saying, at all. But, learning realism, will certainly help your art improve, regardless of your style or medium of choice.
You’re (always) beyond amazing, Dru⚡️⚡️💜💜⚡️⚡️
