Man, you said some things in this one that really hit home for me. I REALLY wish I had had a nutrition plan that fit me better, going into the race. Carb loading (the way I did) was not beneficial for me (I had to make a pit stop at mile 11 and it mentally set me back). That feeling of just wanting to "get going" at the end of training was really real for me! I just wanted to get out there and do it! Also, getting on my own out of the crowd of runners is kind of important for me too. It feels more natural when I'm not in a big cluster of people. I hope you enjoyed your race, buddy! Can't wait to see what it was like!

Hey I got a question have you tested out the durability on the vaporfly 3’s? I just recently got some and scared to know if they’re durable enough to last a season of XC and a track season

"I feel...you know...I feel alive." That's about what can be said about taper time. LOL. I haven't been stoked on tapering so far. I did find myself running faster than I meant to, but cutting the runs shorter than normal feels really weird. Best of luck this weekend, buddy! You're going to do great!

Oh my gosh....Yes, you are right 2025 Chicago M qualifying time is faster than Boston M which means I am no longer qualified......So, frustrated that I have to go thru a drawing system 3 years in a row. Anyway, hopefully, you can maintain the best condition for the Toronto marathon.

Had a squeaky pair of vaporflys. Baby powder helped for like 2 miles then it would be back for the next 24.2

The West end turnaround at Toronto Waterfront is not sharp as you make your way around a big boulevard median separating the road through an intersection. The North end and East end turnarounds are indeed sharp turns around pylons. I hate those as you almost have to come to a stop and lose your stride.

I feel it is even more stable than the Nova Blast 4 and matches the amazing stability of my Gel-Kayano 31. The Superblast 2 is also, probably, the best "racer " that someone with severe overpronation could use. All the other shoes are either too narrow and not worth using, even with the carbon plate . Too unstable and energy sapping if you overpronate too much and/or heel strikes. Indeed, the SuperBlast 2 is one of the best sites ever created and anyone could use then !

Can you give a recommendation of best marathons to run in the USA? I just did twin cities it was so pretty 😢 thinking about doing this one next year.

Was a good video until i saw that blade grinder 🥺. I don't know any self respecting chemex man who would subject his single origin fresh Guatemalan beans to get hacked and pulverived in such a contraption. Especially when you can get an ok burr grinder for under a hundred bucks these days. Half joking😂, but half not 😳

I went for my first run in a pair of More V4s I bought on clearance. Was just going for a recovery run after yesterday's tempo run. Felt great so I picked up the pace a little. Set a PB for my 10k. Completely unintended. Looked back at the splits & they'd just gotten faster & faster. Quite possibly the weirdest day I've ever had running.. bizarre.
