Man, you said some things in this one that really hit home for me. I REALLY wish I had had a nutrition plan that fit me better, going into the race. Carb loading (the way I did) was not beneficial for me (I had to make a pit stop at mile 11 and it mentally set me back). That feeling of just wanting to "get going" at the end of training was really real for me! I just wanted to get out there and do it! Also, getting on my own out of the crowd of runners is kind of important for me too. It feels more natural when I'm not in a big cluster of people. I hope you enjoyed your race, buddy! Can't wait to see what it was like!
Race day is a totally different experience, but now you know what to do for next time if you run again. And congrats again on the race, incredible time!
@FreshBrewRunClub Thanks, man! I'm already looking into the Glass City Marathon for April. I've gotta do another full and see what I can do when I (hopefully) don't have any stomach issues and am able to get out of my head a bit more.
Good luck today. hope you did well. somehow I was under the impression that the Toronto Marathon was next weekend. shows you how much I pay attention 🙂.
Good job, Aaron. Out there putting in the work.
Good luck Aaron… you have definitely put in the work!
Thanks! Appreciate the support!

Thank you! It went pretty well, although it was a tougher second half than I expected
Good luck on your marathon!
Thank you!!
I live just north of where you are training so it’s fun to watch the background. Maybe I’ll see you on a run sometime. Good luck in the marathon.
Cool, say hi if ya see me!
All the best with the race Aaron, I'm sure you'll ace it.
Thank you! Tough race, but I got a big PR!
Best of luck, Aaron!
