Malaysia airlines is pretty good but KLIA , airport facilities, airport management is problem. Normally Gov Dept. Think they are higher positions so their sight is narrow and authoritary. Airlines are kind and helpful , try to meet passengers need but Gov related Dept. Giving trouble. Immigration staff is unkind, customs staff chitchatting themselves, all female……..lousy, no manner My experience

Good to see that they're keeping the extra legroom seats, but a bit sad that they'll no longer be in a separate cabin. Did MEL-KL return a couple of years back & as you said, the extra legroom seats were well worth the money, made a big difference to the trip (transferred to a JAL flight to Narita in KL. You also get priority checkin & boarding, and an additional checked luggage allowance. With the Golden Lounge, you can also purchase lounge access on the MH website if you haven't got sufficent OW status. A must if you have a 3 hour+ transit in KL.

Nice to see another vlog review James. I believe the airline industry has become somewhat like Russian roulette when it comes to a satisfactory flight experience. Good crew, bad crew, bad food, good food, distressed babies, unruly behaviour even bare feet on the seat could happen on many airlines…exceptions like JAL are predictable in their standard of service but finding airlines with consistent good service is difficult. I would fly MAS after seeing this review and appreciated the A330 NIO update, well done.

Good show. I'm off to Europe later in the year on SIA's 777 & reserved a twin seat just in front of the toilets & possibly galley. But as I scoot off around the sun for the 75th time I won't mind as I shouldn't have to fight my wait down the aisle to reach a toilet.😊

I flatly refuse a Boeing 737 for flights longer than three hours and especially not an international flight. There is nowhere to stretch and walk other than the narrow single aisle. Unfortunately even the newer business class seats aren’t that comfortable even on short haul flights. Don’t know if the Max seats are any better.

It's a complete myth that Battle is where it all took place, there's no evidence at all. No archaeology and nothing in contempory accounts to suggest it did. More likely Crowhurst is the best candidate. Liking your trip videos, stay safe and bon voyage!

Thank you so much for making this I have a 12 hr layover then a flight yo kathmandu. I presume I do not need am e visa as I'm not leaving the airport my final destination is kathmandu I'm arriving from London. I obviously have a kathmandu visa . I will be collecting my checked luggage snd then re checking again using a seperate airline ..great video thanks

Re: the comments comparing Singapore Airlines (SIA) food service to QF, it is not difficult for SIA to be an improvement on what QF currently offers.

For a few dollars more, you could've stayed at the Crowne Plaza, also in Terminal 3, but not "airside." The Crowne is VERY nice - and has windows.

Just checking, im flying from Amsterdam to Delhi with KLM than have a 3 hour stopover for my next flight to Kathmandu with air India, is 3 hours enough? I only have hand luggage. Where is the transfer desk from Air India, i think i do need a hard copy boarding pas?

Say hello to KL for me. I was born there & spent up to the age of 16 there with the latter years spent in boarding school in Sydney. Unfortunately most of my past has been eradicated, including my house which has been replaced by apartments, so I won't be going back. Only Singapore & Penang hold any interest for me now & I will relive childhood memories by staying at the E & O Hotel in Penang when I get there.

I love their food, very tasty! In the economy but still quite pleasant! So far is the #1 Airline to me.☺

"Older" ship. Not every ship can be or should be new or the newest class. This is the second to newest class ship of Celebrity. If it were in human years I'd say about 46-47 years old. It's a middle age ship they came out in about 2009-2011 or so. I'm not sure of the exact date. That beautiful Sky Lounge you're sitting in doesn't exist on the newest class, FWIW. Murano doesn't either. MO, Murano is Celebrity's best dining experience unless you do Les Voyage on Beyond or Ascent whyich may or may not be comparable. The tableside presentation is similar to the original specialty dining room on the Millennium class ships, which indeed was special, not "choice," as I think what today's specialty restaurants are on many ships. I'll get to see your other videos later. Great job on this first one.

I also stayed there for 2 nightsen route from London to Perth. I thought it was excellent - the pool whilst not big or deep was really appreciated. I was there over Singapore Day weekend and the hotel was rammed,which made getting breakfast a real challenge - it was mobbed. But I think that may have been unusual? In any case, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone breaking the long schlep from Europe to ANZ - it's close to lots of restaurants at Clarke Quay and walking distance of the Marina Bay Sands if you are feeling up to a bit of a longer walk. Or you can get a ferry from Clarke Quay to Marina Bay Sands.

I stayed there overnight a couple of years ago, and found it very comfortable and good value.

Where is the Captain's Club breakfast for Elite and above? I could never find it on Celebrity Beyond.

Oh no! I've really enjoyed your videos and now you are going home! I've followed your entire trip - you've certainly packed a huge amount in - what a fabulous way to spend 5 weeks! And heading home on a Singapore Airlines A350 in what looks like Premium Economy is a great way to get home. James and Stuart, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series of travel and love the way you interpret the experience. Hard to say which was a highlight as there were so many! However, because it’s on my list of dream destinations, it would have to be the Familia Sagrada. You captured that remarkable light inside the cathedral and at one moment the look in your eyes conveyed the effect of that remarkable architecture on those fortunate enough to visit. Keep up these great travel vlogs👌🏻
