We were just assigned this cabin on the Enchanted Princess. Looks great.

Ok 4:49 EWR is my home airport, and I've taking so many flights out of there that I probably can't give you an accurate number. In all of my departures, I've NEVER had a flight taxi all the way to the very begging of this runway (22R). We've always departed from the spot that you see all of the others departing from here. I guess this show just how much runway is needed for an A350-1000 ULR considering the amount of fuel that is on board for a 19 hour flight. Guess I now know what to expect when I finally take this flight!

I've done that flight twice in the past 12 months and Qantas doesn't impress, particularly around the food offerings. Qantas seems to fall somewhere between a full service airline and a budget airline nowadays.

The Wife and I tried Qantas 3 Years ago and will never fly with them again. On the A330 they put us in Seat 4 & 5 that where so tight that there was not enough room for our Shoulders to seat back completely. The Flight was from Brisbane to Melbourne. Qantas, no thanks

Emirates! All the way. But the whinging Qantas customers keep flying them because they use points to buy seats. You know you get budget style on Qantas, so if you want better or actual premium service then fly someone else.

You lost me when you said the prime rib is very nice. We just got off the Ovation and, coming from cattle country in the Midwest USA, the prime rib was an embarrassment to the cow that gave its life to provide it. You never put brown gravy on prime rib, it was sliced garlic to thin, there was little to no seasoning ring and was just plane flavorless. Same with the NY Strip steak. That steak was what I expected from the $2.99 steak and eggs we use to get in Las Vegas.

Great review mate. I flew the SQ 787-10 from Perth to Singapore and the service was excellent. However the economy seats are quite narrow and have a seat width of 17.5 inches. I felt so uncomfortable there. I also enjoyed the flight entertainment system. The good thing is that there is live TV (where you can watch sport, cnn news, nbc and bbc news.) The flight map screen was good. One improvement that I would like to suggest is that they should have external cameras on the track flight.

This is useful info; thanks. I have a 36 hour layover enroute Brisbane to Dublin but the transit hotel only allows a maximum of 24 hours when booking online. I'm wondering about simply changing from one hotel to another for the second night. Or maybe I simply need to make two separate bookings in the same hotel? Do you happen to know how easy it is to get from one terminal to another? It seems each terminal has its dedicated transit hotels. I've tried contacting my airline for assistance but haven't fared well so far.
