Parents are joining us on two cruises next year! One in January on Quantum of the Seas, and then one on Viking next November. Thanks for watching Kelly.
Omg my husband and I board Ovation of the Seas in October for the Honolulu-Sydney transpacific cruise and our cabin number is 7150. 😂 I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching the videos of your own transpacific cruise last year!
Thankyou for sharing! Lovely watching from my bed and iPad with coffee after a restless nights sleep😱 I was on Ovation of the Seas to NZ from Sydney in March and loved every bit of it! Happy sailing and I look forward to your upcoming reports, from Perth WA🇦🇺🦘
As my partner and I are contemplating further cruises (our previous cruises have been on Azamara) we have been thinking about taking a Cunard cruise, and not sure if that would be an upward move or not, your comments are informative and helpful. I must say, you’ve made a very well put-together and comprehensive video.
Looks lovely! Great weather too. BTW the abbreviation 'SOTON' for Southampton is for road markings - no-one calls it that. It's just that Southampton is too long to go on a road!
I was quite disappointed with our first cruise on the QA, in June. The entertainment seemed to cater to much older couples, and some of the entertainment was for one night only. Taken the same cruise in the Fjords, one of the fjords we were not able to disembark because of the weather, which honestly was not bad. Even though we booked quite early and had high status on Cunard, we were not offered an upgrade. I understand this is not guaranteed, but we later learned that our dinner neighbour who is a travel agent, who booked later and not the same high status as us, did receive a complimentary room upgrade. It seems Cunard is favorings travel agents.
Haven't tried Silversea. Stuart doesn't drink and we avoid ship tours so all inclusive is a bit of a waste on us. We have done 3 cruises on Oceania and are doing one on Viking next year though. Premium or 'Luxury Lite' is about as far up the price chain that we will go for now (will probably change as we get older). Thanks for watching!
We each had a mid size suitcase as checked luggage (you can see us unpacking them at 05:46. Even so it did seem crazy taking our suits around for 5 weeks for the sake of two Gala nights on Cunard!
Daddies. ❤
I very much enjoy the humour. Galah night got me😂 I am missing the parents though- bring them back!!

Really enjoyed this video! Subscribed almost instantly really enjoyed your experience on board! :)
Thanks so much!
Thanks - I have been on the other 3 Cunard ships - Queen Anne next

Thanks. I first saw people writing 'Soton' on cruise critic! e.g. 'We arrive in Soton at 8.00am can I make the 9.45am train to Manchester?'
@@cruisingandsnoozing1479 Odd! I've never encountered it and I'm English and have been in the Southampton area hundreds of times...
Coffee on Cunard is water with an attitude

Is there Princess and Queens Grill too ?
Yes. Will give it a shot someday.
