Was told that we’re from the Graham of Montieth Clan but have no way of confirming…for good luck, it didn’t stop me from sewing a swatch of the tartan to the hem lining of my wedding gown, though! Spent my honeymoon in Edinburgh and made a point of visiting Blair Castle (absolutely breathtaking) one day. It felt like I had gone back home…can’t wait to make my way back again!

In eight generations in my family one female in each generation were born with Haxzel eyes, my siblings have both brown or blue eyes. my mother had green eyes in a family of blue eyed siblings. and my father had brown eyes. Mine are the same color and shape as my great aunt. and in our family most of were born "Gifted"Like uncanny knowledge of times past , present and future and being able to communicate with other Family members through feelings no matter where we are. my eyes go between a stormy ocean greenish. to almost an auburn brown with gold specks when I am angry. they are never blue. but if I wear darl brown there is tourquoise that appears. My father was Chrokee (Or Cheroke) My mother was Scottish/ Irish and English in decent. in the amount of children had by the mothers of my generartion at least five of those mothers had daughters with Hazel eyes. they passed it on to both daughters and sons, and among my siblings my brothers passed it on to a son each and one daughter. and her daughter has hazel eyes. I use to live up the street from Glen Campbell lol =) My maternal side there is Mackenzie, Macdonald and Matheson to name a few. Had a thing for M names I guess. And I'm in Canada. Dna 21% Scottish. I too am a decendant of Robert, King of Scots, he is my 22nd great grandfather. On my paternal side is Mitchell.

I have green-dominant hazel and my husband has brown-dominant hazel. Our 2 oldest children started with dark brown eyes, but one has been going to a lighter brown. Our 2 youngest children started with blue and blue-gray and have both started to get green added in. If hazel is only a mix of green and brown, what is a mix of green and blue?

Typical American mongrel. DNA says I'm about 34% Scot, 10% Welsh, & 0% Irish. My mom's maiden name was Daniel, who arrived in the Colonies in 1720 from Scotland. On my dad's side, the Montgomery family came from Antrim, (N) Ireland just before the Great Potato Famine. And, one branch moved from France to Berwick-upon-Tweed, where the residents identify themselves as neither English nor Scot!

My ancestors were in Argyll. Did a DNA test a couple years ago and was very impressed.
