@@AC_Andrea I like the animations (most of them, at least). I just don’t like that you can’t cancel out of some, especially the longer, drawn out ones.

Would a mod like this even work in Unity? Kenway games for example have animation cancel, but it works badly. I don't think Unity is designed for a.c.

@@Arminhal16 My problem with syndicate is that the grappling hook is the main focus and you have to use it every 5 minutes pretty much. In Revelations you can freely parkour through the city without even using the ziplines and even if you do use them they are so much faster than Syndicate grappling hook.

The ziplines in Revelations gives an optional route while Syndicate was a solution to a problem of it's design philosophy being 1:1 with the city.

​@@AC_Andreait's a bit controversial but here it is 1.ac unity 2.ac 3 3.ac syndicate 4.ac revelations 5.ac1 6.ac2 and brotherhood 7.ac rogue 8.ac blackflag 9.rpg trilogy. I haven't played mirage so I don't about that.

Well the main reason I like syndicate's parkour is because it's mostly unity's parkour system but a bit different.much like unity, it has the best climbing, swinging and descending mechanics.although the manual jump is gone, it has the zipline drop mechanic which works mostly like the manual jump.also it can be used more creatively instead of using it to skip every parkour situation.syndicate also added the eject to swing mechanic so unlike Arno, jacob and evie won't always hop on top of a flagpole.the mechanics in syndicate are also more responsive, consistent and easier to pull of than unity. I have a hot take but I think syndicate's level design is actually pretty good.because each district offers variation in parkour environments.the thames have constantly moving and some stationary boats making it possible to cross the river by just jumping from boat to boat,white chapel is a less jankier version of paris, the ww1 London has both rooftop traversal and good parkour routes with almost no jank.sure there are some areas where the wide streets ruin the flow of parkour.but by choosing the right spot for parkour, it can be very satisfying. In terms of visuals and mechanics, I like this parkour more than the classic system.but ac unity and ac3 have better visuals and world design for parkour which is why I placed them higher than synicate.

I wouldn't say they should sacrificed historical accuracy because that would have made the game a lot worse than what it is but they could've improved the level design.like add some tree parkour in the large gaps between buildings, add more ropes connecting rooftops, more indoor parkour to avoid climbing to the peak of an eight story building etc.these slight changes wouldn't break accuracy but they would've improved the parkour a lot.also the parkour could've been more viable if they had kept the jump button and more reliable ejects from unity.

@@nafizalmamun9855 Besides maybe shrinking the streets just a tad bit, that's pretty much what I mean. I wouldn't want them to change it THAT much; just add some things or shrink some gaps so the grapple & zipline isn't overutilized.

@@Strawberry_Soda. personally Assassin’s Creed Revelations is my favorite AC in the all series but i get what you mean,that’s kinda what is happening with Shadows,being hated on and being considered a bad game even before it releases.
