You are certainly in your element here. I can tell you just love it out there. By the way...did you know, at the Spam factory, they play Monty Python's Spam skit on a TV, on a constant loop. True story. And there are several flavors of Spam available. They just don't carry them in our local markets. You may want to look into that. Hey, I didn't know Grotto Pizza delivered way out there. Lol. Lol. Quick tip... anything you can slice or dice, do that before you leave on your adventure. That way you get to spend a bit more time fishin'. Prep..prep..prep...the key to the food service.

Like the video! Only critique is that hand retrieving is not a good idea for steelhead. Put them on the reel with good drag system.

"Where's Ralph ??" I'm right here watching this amazing video. That's just great. You take your nephew out to teach him the art of flyfishing, and you almost get bitten by a snake. This had the potential of becoming a found footage video. 😆 And the box of flies..."mmm good eats." Does the name Renfield ring a bell ?? Kidding aside. This is one of your best videos. In the past we have learned a lot about trout, mushrooms, bugs etc... But here you are doing a great job instructing your nephew on the fine fine art that is flyfishing. He learns quickly. I would love to see more like this. I think a follow up video on his progress would be great. Nice shout out to the Pocono Yeti !!! LONG LIVE THE POCONO YETI. !!! It is insane, but your opening segment is the exact same spot I fish back in 2022, and the most productive segment was not at the corner you started down, but walking back to the truck just up from the first corner. I was freezing my butt off, heading to the truck, but once I connected just short of the truck …. I just had to stay another hour…when it starts snowing, get onto I-79 as fast as you can and head back to the Burg. Great video, this is a much needed fix as I ready my kit for the fall. Look forward to seeing you on the water; fish on!

This is your first video where the insects were screaming for their close up. I think the bugs had more screen time than the two of you. No thank you man. Bring on the winter...no bugs !!! What an amazing trek. I was exhausted watching the climb back up the mountain. God bless the two of you. You should have taken a cast of that foot print. (you never know...squatchin') Outstanding catches. Great colors. Very proud of the major effort you and Dave put in to show us the beauty of this remote place. What a wealth of knowledge Dave has on mushrooms. Impressive. But even so.....none on pizza please. 😅

Hi Doc!! WOW! What an amazing video! Great scenery, some amazing brook trout! Crazy hike down the mountain, to all the bugs, and I'm sure lost flies along the way! Great job! I would love to go on a fishing trip with you but I'm afraid you would have to bury me in the mountain! LOL! How do you deal with the bugs? They looked really bad in the video! How may flies do you lose on a trip like that? How in the world do you find such remote places to fish? Thanks again for sharing I love watching your videos!!!

Ok, it's official....I need to start popping popcorn for your videos. Nearly an hour and a quarter long. WOW!! But a great 73 minute journey it is. Tons and tons of information here. Along with breath taking scenery. At first, it's more quality than quantity on the successful strikes. But man that changes fast. Especially after intermission. 😆 Loved the Indiana Jones reference. And you almost took a dive at one part. (Judges scores are in....3/2/3/0) And watch out for that fog. "There's something in the Fog." What a geat catch at the end. That large Brown Trout looked like a side of beef. Too bad about the one that got away earlier. 😢 Ending reminded me of the Blair Witch Project. Do you notice a constant move theme in this review. 😂 Great job as always my good friend. 👍👍
