I'm British and I live in the USA, I've never heard of that 'Fluff' stuff. Firstly, American white bread contains a lot more sugar than UK white bread, they don;t have Lurpak spreadable butter, they tend to use mayonaisse instead. I like crunchy peanut butter. Apart from that, an American sandwich!

American here, Fluff is *not* at all like fondant. It's more like a swiss meringue but made with corn syrup. It's similar to nougat but much softer

Fluff is not generally American. It’s peculiar to the city of Boston-specifically Somerville, Massachusetts. It’s hard to find anywhere else in the country. And it definitely doesn’t have butter on it!

As an American, I never liked fluffernutter sandwiches. I was never a fan of PB&J either. Tbh, peanut butter was never at the top of my list. These days it doesn’t matter since even a whiff of peanuts can send me to the hospital. I guess that’s a problem solved. 😂

50 y/o here, Detroit. I've never had it. Probably never will. American sandwiches are PB&J, BLTs, Grilled Cheese, Pastrami on Rye and the amazing Turkey Club. This is a north-eastern scam to try and get people to eat something horrible. Like licorice.

no lurpak, its 50% PB and 50% fluff -- the jars of fluff used to have the recipe for this sandwich on the side label.

Fluffernutters are a New England thing, usually eaten for lunch by children, but they are a guilty pleasure for adults also, lol. Best served cut in a wedge so you can dunk it in a large glass of milk.

Gonna be honest, I've never been a drinker, but I kind of want to try your gin now.😂
