I received the same surprising response from them about the yellow A6 fish scale crest cover that I purchased. It does not bend and stay closed like their other covers, therefore making it unusable.)

Thank you for sharing all the information you knew about the Leonardo Golden Abalone. I was at this year's DC Pen show too and I actually bought the Rose Gold version of that pen (because it was beautiful) But when I went home to research the exact name of the pen I realized that the metal hardware on my pen was different from the ones I was seeing online. But thanks to you, now that I know it was a pen show exclusive that makes it even more special to me. So cool. I got mine in the extra fine and it was my first Leonardo Pen as well. I mostly went to the test the table to get a feel for the pens, but when I saw the golden abalone in rose gold, I just knew I wanted it. All the pens you got were beautiful.

I saw the fountain inks and that brown fountain ink you kept dipping.where did you get that one and it doesn't link like a fountain pen very interested to try one.

I don't usually like Hobonichi's own covers. The plastic look is not my thing and the cartoony art style rubs me the wrong way. There are only two official Hobonichi covers that I've liked. The first one is the liberty fabric you have. If I was in a need of a wallet I would be googling does it exist in an A6, because that would be the perfect wallet size for me. (un)fortunately I do have a good wallet so no need to spend money on that. The second one is the Tragen. The moment I saw it I was obsessed with it. I just planner hopped last week from a weeks to an Hobonichi A6 Hon and the need/want to get a Tragen for it was so strong. Luckily I came to my senses and only bought the A6 Hon. I've given my self permission that If stick with the Hon and want to use it for next year I can buy the cover. Hopefully by then there are more colours. A teal one would be a dream. Thank you so much for sharing your haul. For how popular these seem to be I've not seen many UA-cam videos about them. I hope you give some updates on how you have liked using it later on. And as another pet owner I would love to know how much of an annoyance it is with a shedding animal.

Why buy specific notebooks for journalling? I've got journal entries dating back over 30 years. I use my filofax and store in folders. Works and am not held to following the rules set by the journal manufacturer!

I hadn’t used my journal in a year so I gave away my stickers, I decided I didn’t want to use them anymore,well I treated myself to a LV pocket agenda and what did I do…bought more stickers, mini ones because this agenda is about the size of pocket calendar. I don’t like the weeks insert so next year I’ll find something that can fit into it that I will use more.

I am not sure if it would help but maybe try a different nib for your Estie? I have an elastic fine and I am in love with it!!

The day free Hobonichi (I use the cousin a5 for my planner) with a blank Hobonichi journal in the same cover has been working great for me, because I also cannot handle the missed dates. I’m going to get the blank a6 notebook in a cover (already have from years ago) to carry in my purse, because my cousin is WAY too heavy to lug around.

You should try London Gifties if you haven’t already! 😊 I’ve been ordering hers for years along w some other brands.
