Sometimes I film stuff when I'm out exploring the world!
Random weekend in Paris! 🤷♀️ Night view from the Eiffel Tower!
I had a trip to Paris in October! We visited the Louvre, had a river cruise down the Seine, visited the top of the Eiffel tower and Versaille. It was an awesome trip, although a little crowded XD

The journey continues along the west coast of Grand Canary Island. This is probably my last leg with Pickle before she goes back across the Atlantic, which is kind of sad, but I can't wait to see her again on the other side!

I join Sam on another adventure and this time we sail from Santa Cruz in Tenerife to a small city called Sardina on the Grand Canary Island! This was probably my last adventure on Pickle on the west side of the Atlantic, but I can't wait to see her on the east side! :D This was only a few days of travel so this adventure will just be 2 episodes long, but I hope you enjoy! :)

Me, Lillian and Geir went diving to check out this wreck of the Tom B, and old cargo ship that sunk in 1958 outside of Kristiansand. The visibility wasn't great, but it was still really fun to see it. And it was very nice to get back into the water again!

Sailing along the Moroccan coast! From Tangier to Rabat
Переглядів 12 тис.4 місяці тому
Check out from Tangier went super smooth! A lot of waiting around so it still took a few hours, but everyone were really nice to us. We continued our summer adventures by sailing along the Moroccan coast. The trip from Tangier to Rabat took around 40 hours, almost two days at sea! It was pretty smooth sailing, and we were both curious to see how the check-in in Rabat would be.

Sailing to Morocco! First stretch - Malaga to Gibraltar
Переглядів 36 тис.5 місяців тому
This summer I joined Sam on another adventure from the Mediterranean to North Africa, Morocco! This video shows the first stretch when we sailed from Malaga to Gibraltar. It started off a little stressful in Malaga where we had some trouble as Sam was picking me up, and ended up with me bein sea sick for like 10 hours straight, lol. But other than that it was a great start to our summer adventu...

When you will mary you are perfect couple ❤❤❤
I love seeing two totally different filmmaking styles and perspectives of the (more or less) same thing. I hope you do not influence Sam's style. I love his videos but I also really like your perspective too. Don't mix, keep each unique style. ❤
New hairstyle, Sam ? Not bad. If I had enough hair I'd do the same. 😢
AS long as it is functional for you, that is all that matters. It looks fine to me.
Hi, I made a visit in May -23 . I was disappointed about all the overpriced restaurants and bars , 15€ for bottle of beer 😅
I appreciate the"other side of the journey" - your filming is easy on the eyes!
Well done! Fair winds to you.
Sam bores me (kidding) but you have inspired me (not kidding). Time for me to get off my ass and build, travel, sail,...thank you
Here sit down have a coffee on me and update us on life! Thanks!
I’m so glad I saw these things in the 90s… it is just SO overwhelming how crowded these “attractions” have become… Just too much. Good for you for powering through because I suspect it’ll only get worse. No wonder that Venice wants to limit how many tourists can visit. Just makes it difficult to appreciate these spots… maybe during the week is better.
I feel like I'd enjoy the view more if not for this heart attack I'm having.
Would some kind of paint thinner help level out the brush strokes?
Just recently discovered Sam’s channel. Watching the two channels in parallel is so unique. … The channels complete and complement each other. When watched in sync, provide such a unique experience and perspective of the places you go, the things you do, and how you relate to each other. It is wonderful. Thanks!
Ni är ju för goa !! Underbar film !! Önskar er al lycka !!
Great video!
Takk. Great photography and narration. I'd like to hear more about the biology.
Great vid Sam. Anna Lee brings a welcomed depth to your posts. I noticed you have through bolts in the roof of the dodger. I'd hate to see someone impaled by these in an unexpected wave. Keep up the posts. I love em when I get a chance to watch.
Big fan of both channels!
That was really great. I could spend all day looking at the bridge and its art figures. Do you think people could build those buildings without power tools back in that time. What was the population of skilled labor back then with architects engineers. Amazing.
Alltid velat se tornet och livet runt om kring ! Tack visningen ❤
Och jag gillar även sams äventyr mycket 😉
Awesome stuff.....Thank you
You Paris model
Lovely...thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Compare what the super rich did with their wealth back then to today....
WOOHOO!! Good Times with Mom! Nice Hat 👍
Beautiful apartment with amazing views. 🙂. Looking forward to this one. Thank you.
Great, thanks for posting.
I love your smile. So happy. Thanks for the video.
One of the best things I've ever read inscribed on tombstone: ""Paris is always a good idea!""
Wonderful video again, you should do this for a living. Most European capitals are heaving with tourists these days. I've been on Westminster bridge in April and it's like being in a football crowd. And in Westminster Abbey it was the same. Too many people and having to follow a set route. Not enjoyable.
Loved your attire! You looked like you belonged there. It’s very difficult to tour such a popular area in that amount of time. Your choice of highlights was much appreciated as well as your honesty. Maybe some day!😊👍💯
Sitting in Wellington New Zealand where it’s 20degrees and sunny! Thank you for your interesting video. Don’t miss the queues though.
Your poor feet !!!! 😥 I'm not first this time to post a comment.... but glad I got to see you look amazing in this one !!!! 😃
My favorite trip to Paris was in 1987, walking around the city at 2am, seeing all the sights when it was deserted, then stumbling across a street lined for 2 miles with prostitutes (very ethnically diverse and dressed to the 9s). Very startling when you don’t expect it.
September is a good time to visit Paris. There are fewer people, but the weather is still relatively comfortable.
What an incredible trip, I am so envious. I have always wanted to visit Paris but probably never will, just getting too old To sit in a sidewalk cafe and sip an espresso, and watch the world go by would be heavenly. Thanks for the video and the beret is stunning, you look like a native Parisian.
Yes that’s the best about Paris! Also, merci beaucoup monsieur!
Time stamp 15:55…… Sistine Chapel not Sixteenth Chapel……and I’m uh ‘Merican ….. geeze!
Haha thanks 👌 glad you pointed that out
Sam would want to know if you can sail on the Seine!
I could! As long as he would sail with me! ⛵️
@@annelinsynnes I am sure you could.. I did not mention how much I liked the video, the skill you have demonstrates you are very versatile in the media marketplace! Who knows where your talents carry you...
Great video, & they are getting better with each one you post. Cheers!
Thank you!
Beautiful you!
How the kids say now, very demure very international....thanks n love a beret on a pretty woman , great outfits, looked a great time.
Merci beaucoup! 🥖🍷
Ann-Elin thanks for the video. I enjoy your candor. I agree with you that the Louvre is too crowded and the trip to the top of the Eiffel tower at night is fantastic...and I don't like heights either but the view is phenomenal. I don't like long lines either. My favorite part of Versailles was renting a golf cart to tour the gardens in the back! By the way, your English is phenomenal. The more time you spend around Sam, the more American you sound!
Aah dang that’s a missed opportunity! I didn’t know you could rent golf carts!
I would not want to visit Paris ….unless I was going with you !
I think going during the week, not the weekend and getting the multi day museum pass which lets you skip the lines is the way to go (if they still have that.) Also missed seeing Lisa Kudrow but I heard she is camera shy when not working. 😎
Week will probably be better, yes! We did Friday-Sunday which is probably the worst, but easiest 🤷♀️
Great travelogue. Also no punches pulled. You shoot straight from the hip. It is a fantastic place spoiled by so many visitors. I was there a few years back and the Tower is the best. I think I bought tickets the day before to avoid the mega lines. For a Captal city break my favourite is Amsterdam. No hills everything is a short distance apart and No snails !!! Yuk ! Even worse if you get a "slug gish one"....i.e. the homeless variety.
I agree, I also love Amsterdam! But Paris is definitely up there, just no more tourist spots
Great style! Enjoy your style when looking at these cities. How about a tour of Oslo, Bergen, Tromso? I would love your insight into Nordic culture. Small villages on the coast and the food etc would be fascinating as well as folk art when you aren’t galavanting with Sam
I might go pick up Sam in Oslo beginning of next year so we’ll definitely do a tour of Oslo then! I’ll try to make a video about the ones down south here before that :)
Enjoyed, thanks…..sailing, diving, Paris…..what’s next! Andrew
I really liked Paris when I went way back in 1995. Through shear serendipity, I stumbled into the last day of the Tour de France as Miguel Indurain was winning his then-record (and I think once again record) fifth Tour. Very cool experience. But really liked Paris overall also,
Wow, what a cool coincidence!
Another great video! I wish you would speak Norwegian more in your videos. You have a good eye for cinematography. I also like seeing things from your perpective. It makes it feel real. Was that castle where they signed the Treaty of Versailles?
Yes it was! 🕊️ I’ll keep it in mind and throw in some Norwegian here and there 😆
