Did you find it easier to tension the toolhead with the VxBot carrier? I'm in the midst of converting a bunch of my printers to Ratrig/RatOS and as I've got a 3.1 IDEX 500 wideboy enclosed, tensioning the toolheads and Y Axis is a bit of a pain with the non-adjustable (well, little adjustment and lack of clamping power) of the EVA3 setup. I'd like to standardize on a single carriage setup for my fleet. I'm thinking VzBot carriages with EBB42 boards, beacon probes. I print mostly in ASA/ABS, and this toolhead looks a lot lighter than the EVA3.
I never built a standard EVA tool head. I went straight to the VZ style tool head with my custom belt tensioners.
I love my 244s
Will these fit the T4 pro? How did the plastic parts hold up? I was thinking if this could all be printed as TPU.
@@vnmarcel I'm sure it would. This design is very old. The newer design is TPU and what I have on my master. It is also a listed on the Etsy store, euc.jc84.com

I'm currently using the open frame version and can't get the belt tension quite right. However I love the design and reduces weight on the tool head.

hey mate, random question...are you Kiwi? I'm in Wellington (originally from Canada), and there's something comfortingly familiar about your accent (or is that just the Perth accent?..). Sorry, not an EUC question-but great video! thinking of getting a V11 this year, for commuting.
@@SethBocknek I don't like the v11 anymore the maintenance is just way too hard. Overed engineered design. Even the bloke the purchased off me. Said the same I am. Local Australian perth
im very curious how you made it fit I tried this tire on my v11y, it rubs no matter how much I try to allign it, tried with a belt and a mallet its so tight to the point where it rubs the top inside when rolling around I thought I was gonna fry my motor(and I was not even riding it, just trying it before fully reassembling/stepping on it, it could have been much worse) if anyone is reading this, get the cst c186 instead, harder to find but afaik its a guaranteed fit for this wheel
but maybe because the v11/v11y insides are different, not really sure, just a random guess since the v11y has better water resistance
@@cheshire_ it was a tight fit in the standard v11. I don't know know what changes happened in the 11y but seems It's smaller form what you say. The only issue I had with knobby tire was when it picked up rocks in the tire as they rolled through the shell they slowly caused damage.
@@jc84com sorry lol.. seems like I was just stupid the issue I was having was this ( ua-cam.com/video/uJtNoiqN6fQ/v-deo.htmlsi=B3qZSIgeFYIY0nk7&t=77 ) which was just caused by the screws I did not put in(I was testing the fitting before putting the wheel back together), I only realized it a day later after I returned the tire but other than that, how has it been? Any experience with it in the snow?
@@cheshire_ I live in Western Australia. The climate is almost identical to California. I will never be able to ride in snow in this state. But it is very hot, so it does test temperatures of the wheel.
I just strap from the oposite site of clamp, so the strap extensions are on inside part. Works good!
Where did you buy all the pumpers and the battery bash guard and the suspension mod ? Interested if a delivery in Europe would be possible …

@@megaobi initial thoughts its built super well better than my master. Less options to customize. Out of the box it's a great expensive wheel. Absolue deal if you can get one second hand. I don't own one.
can you help me out in figuring if this model resembles my Begode extreme they seem identical
T4 and Extreme are different physically. However have a overall "similar" layout and construction.

I bought the Begode t4 pro and am using it. I want to learn how to attach and detach the trolley handle. Can I change the handle if I only open the top cover and unscrew the top and side (one of the three bolts holding the suspension) Can I replace the trolley handle if I just unscrew the 2 screws?
@@Hyunseok-Lim handle is removed by removing the 4 bolts on the plastic top cover.

Where do you source the bushings? Also would carbon fiber work?
Everything sourced from aliexpress takes time to find. Any material will work likley except plastic. 6mm thickness to match existing linkages and spacing.
Got a v2 master, it was my first and last begode wheel. Garbage design and all the sellers know it.

I took apart my Master V4 batteries and they’re exactly the same. My Master went in the drink, fully submerged for over a minute, but no water made it into the batteries. Good design.
@@ceradinimp Wow, fully submerged. Did the controller survived that because the top housing is not sealed at all. On these units.
@@jc84com Water got into the top housing and the motor. It wouldn't balance and wouldn't shut off. I had to disconnect the batteries to shut it down.
I just rebuilt the motor (opened it up and dried it out, greased the bearings, and treated the hall sensor with some CorrosionX) . The mainboard and mosfets look intact and they're dried out. I'm going to hook it all back up and see if it runs. There is conformal coating on the boards so they may be ok. I think the malfunction was from water in the display, connection terminals, and water in the engine messing up the hall sensors. I'll post more once it's back together.
Let me know how it goes I'm doing the same thing with my extreme but my packs were dry. We are replacing the charge board which should shut the BMS alarm off. Thinking of replacing the bearings while the wheel is apart and maybe the motherboard.
The lower mounting of the pedal and battery boxes is the most controversial implementation in the V4 master. Begode significantly improved this node in the Extreme and Et Max models

I am having binding issues on the Extreme now too. They have become progressively worse. I believe it is a combination of what you have demonstrated here, and dust/dirt. I am going to disassemble and see if I can figure it out. I think the suggestion for a plug at the bottom is a good one too.
Discovered what a bad design my master suspension design is when I upgraded suspension.

I was tried Shinko 241 at 32 psi.. totaly garbage, but at 25 psi its start to shine

How much were those parts to print? How many grams are the parts?
@@Audiboxx depends on perimeters and infill % It does add a bit of weight. Especially the handles up top. I have discovered the wheel can be re stabilized by shifting this front battery forward ~15mm. As it was back heavy before. I really like how it is now.
@@jc84com I am confused, what perimeters and infill do you recommend? I dont understand how complex this is to put on. Am I going to take apart the whole frame? Does it align with the screw holes of the euc?
@@Audiboxx it I designed for a v4 master, v1/2/the frame is a little different. I don't know all the differences as manufactures don't disclose the changes. My parts are all aligned to the v4 frame. I made my front handles about 280grams each at 6 walls 6 top bottom 70% infill 0.6nozzle 0.3 layer height. Its a compromise between weight / stiffness. I offset the weight by shifting the front batteries 20mm forward on current build once the whole unit is built to have symmetric weight distribution.
So, I dont buy a master. Thats what im was about to do.
