5.0 Mustang vs. 4.2 Audi Rev Battle!
Переглядів 1,1 тис.7 років тому
My two favorite engines go head to head: The 4.2 Audi screams in high revs, but the 5.0 mustang has a god-like low end rumble. Mustang: Pacesetter long tube headers and h-pipe (no muffler yet). Audi: Stock headers and cats with muffler and resonator delete. My humble opinion on the sound: Both sounds are music to my ears and the mic does no justice what so ever. My winner for the lower revs (1-...

We bought a 2000 C5 Audi A6 with the 4.2L V8 for only $600! However, it has a bad transmission... Obviously the first thing we are going to do is cut off the mufflers and resonator.

Should you do your own exhaust work?
So you unhooked the computer and swapped the harness, so the wires in the cab stayed the same
Appreciate the vid ez 1,2,3!
Can you do a tutorial on the rear speakers how replace
And I know you can tie the two wires together to get your dimmer to work but the aftermarket one has a switch you can switch from two different colors so I don't think you would be able to switch the two different colors with the dimmer correct or ?
One day these guys are going to be working at your local muffler shop.
Is using duct/masking tape even safe🤷🏼…potential fire hazard🤷🏼
If u don't know what u r doing ask someone
I looked at it and i knew it was going to be a job 😂 everything you said I knew had to make sure.
Literally the only hopeful video for your front door speakers on a SS Monte Carlo 7th gen
Those painted headers are gonna smell really nice
Man this was awhile ago now mut I'm doing research to know what has to be done for me to do this and all I got to say is she sounds amazing
To remove that radio that you just installed, I’m assuming you just pull outward?

Wow, I do hope that some common sense has been gained in the past six years. Well, that or Darwin took over. The very least you could have done. Would have been to cut off the pipe that y'all seemed to have chewed on (quite literally I must say) the day before. I didn't think one could make a Dorf thunder chicken worse than it already was. Oh Boy was I Obviously very VERY wrong about that!!
... u didn't show how u got it out ... (VERY IMPORTANT)🎯🎯🎯
U cut off the muffler w/a fahkin can opener!!??🤣🤣🤣
... Money isn't everything but the fact u guys went through out da whole process / experience this adventure it is priceless, exactly ... you should b proud of yourself ... Oh, btw ... This is going 2 b a great help 4 mi swap this weekend, thnx * ... I'll b uploading day by day as well ... Congrats 👏👍💯🎯
Is your car manual or automatic transmission?
$40 vs $400 at a shop. Can't beat that.
Hola, la transmisión del motor 3.8 es compatible con el motor 5.0?
What transmission do you have
The good thing about this is at least they’re not on the street corner dealing drugs.
that fucking bird though. let it get it's own channel.
What tf did I just watch? SMH. Step 1 learn how to use basic hand tools. Step 2 have at least a little bit of knowledge on what your doing. Step 3 execute with proper tools and materials.
Utilizaron la misma transmisión que tenía el 3.8 y le cayó todo bien al 5.0 o le adaptaron algo? Es que voy a hacer lo mismo hacer de 3.8 a 5.0
Parts list?
If you have 2" pipe, you need 2 1/8 flex.
I’m several years late, but this is helping me so much to pull and swap my V6 95 mustang, I’m doing it blind without much knowledge of what I’m doing and this helps a lot
Puro Michigan 💪
I saw michigan plates and I am doing the same swap right now. I live in Fenton MI. Tell me what to look out for please
can i get a list of part that you guys used?
The worst radio install i have ever seen in my life 😭😭😭
Thanks so much for this - especially the running a wire to the #6 key fuse! And how to remove the panel for access. You guys rock!
Does the flexible exhaust affect the sound quality? I just cut the muffler off my 2005 6.0 Chevy and I was think about using the flex pipes.
That's exactly how I got all my driveshaft bolts off too🤣
I got 6.5 Skar Audio speakers and they don't set flush down like yours, so I'm wondering if 5.25 Skar Audio speakers would set in better
Why did you swap the k member? I am doing the same thing with a 94. We already test fitted the 5.0 with the 50 mounts and it dropped right into place on the v6 k member. I also used the stock v6 t5, the input shaft is longer so I ordered the one off a 5.0 t5. Now I’m waiting on the barring and I’m dropping it back in
Did you use the v6 or 5.0 bell housing
Why would they do that for all the wires our there
I got a 95 mustang for free by my neighbor who said a freeze plug replacement by a mechanic will be $1000
I can’t find the latches at the top. What kind of latches are they?
Did the steering wheel buttons work after the install?
Where did you gwt the wiring harnes that conects to the stock one
Did you ever figure it out? Looks for the same thing
Link to wire harness
Did you do your own work?
Did you have to do any extra bracing of the body or frame is my question?
