It’s almost 2025 I have a Gen2 08 Prius it has a new hybrid battery and a new starter battery .i change the inverter pump and always change the oil car still runs like brand new it has 2762 miles on it .oh and Im getting ready to change to blower motor

You should have it vaccumed with an ac vaccum tool so that the freon don't go into the air or hurt you cause it's under pressure

Well his parts came right apart. Mine feel to be glued together. I also don't know where the little tab/s are on the plastic plug to the bulb, as the ALWAYS have a tab/s you have to pry or squeeze. So at this point in not being able to get any of this apart, I'm really considering removing the bumper and light assy.. As I said in this video his rubber boot practically fell out of the car and the plastic plug nobody ever bothers to mention what you have to pry on or whatnot to unplug it. We need to know that when we are tugging away on that. I can't risk breaking that thing and the rubber boot only turned slightly with a great deal of force and now seems like it's there for good.

With all the good things you said I think in the fluctuations is not to worry about much and it don’t affect the battery much, manufacture recommends that as long as you are driving to keep gear on drive mode which make sense. The computer system and cells are much scientifically smarter to operate in this point

You missed the most important step.. Keeping the hybrid battery cooling fan clean.

You could also feather the gas pedal going down a hill instead of putting it in neutral if you don't want to overcharge the battery and if you want to mitigate your speed you can put it in [B] which will let the car do some engine breaking.

What if we but 2 batteries 😮

If you have 200 Prius and follow your own advice, you are driving 100 cars every day. How many drivers do you employ? If you spend only 8 minutes starting and driving each car, it would take 13.5 hours per day to exercise 200 cars!

In Eastern Europe we see differently, almost al Gen 2 drinking oil, wheel bearings, steering column issues, and of course battery changes.. While Gen 3 is more comfortable to drive, good on motorways too, but of course the head gasket and the inverter are issues.

Went to Walmart and they spent 2 hours not replacing the bulbs bc they said they had to drop the bumper

Now that you showed 'how,' please add the 'why' of removing the brake actuator. My 2009 Gen 2 has begun making an occasional loud, inappropriate noise when the brake pedal is depressed. I'm trying to locate the cause without unnecessarily replacing parts or being scammed by a shop.

So im a big guy and older so iv driven cars with no power breaking, that being said can i just un-clip the power to the booster and dislocate the arm on the pedal and use the breaks in manual for the duration of my cars life? Or will this mess up the charging system?

So a used dealership sold me prius that had this issue they bleeding the brakes without replacing the brake booster They claim it doesn't buzz anymore You think this fixed the issue I was getting abs light/ traction light the only bled the system

Told can metal heats fast. If hybrid need to maintain lower temperatures the shells cant be the same design has to be layered and test the temperatures with our without layers. Ceramic is cooler but easy breakable for a roof layer but not just one layer. Hope to see in the future temperature control shell or outer cover etc. Jelly is heavier and does dry if not lubricated . No I do not want to open a car when temperatures are at 100 farenheight.
