1 thing i noticed that's missing in the discussion of the "Wahls protocol" here is the supplements. Dr.Wahl claims that vitamin/ mineral difficiency is a Major factor in nerve damage. Magnesium, selenium, Coq10 are just a few that she mentions. Hope that helped some one.

Lovely. Yes; Optic Neuritis; Dec, 20th, 2023, self administered to hospital; 3-day Sulumedrol; discharged, Jan 4, 2024. To date Optic vision poor, slow improvement. Began further research on MS causes. Found 2 doctors claiming how they cured themselves. Skeptical at first, but my own research continues leading me to MS being caused, not so much via Virus, but likely because of {multi- strains of parasitic infection throughout the body, causing Substantial Neurological Deficiency due to Excreted Neurotoxins, Naturally Produced by Parasites; especially Parasite, well-known to invade CNS, BRAIN; producing Signs, e.g. Headache, Vision Impairment, Loss, Cough, Sinus Difficulty, Fatigue, etc. No Homeopathic medication available at the moment, began eating regular spice Cloves from kitchen pantry; Seeing noticable improvement in Vision post 12-14 Hrs..! 👍🙂❤❤❤

the quest you should answer is are you doing MRIs to check for new lesions? symptoms alone are not a sign of your disease activity... there's also your brain shrinking. Following a healthy diet will make anyone feel better but how can we know for sure it is a substitute of medication when there are no studies long enough to monitor the patient's disease activity for 10 or 15 yeas?

Look up the Wahls protocol. She has a book and a recipe book out. I don't have MS but I thought I did, so I started doing the Wahls protocol. Even though I don't have MS it helped me because it is anti-inflammatory. Turns out I have a different autoimmune issue, which isn't fully diagnosed yet. I have done a modified Wahls diet in the meantime and I know it has slowed whatever it is. As soon as I get a diagnosis I will adjust as needed.

What if... when our doctors diagnosed us with an incurable disease They didn't immediately push every medication on us to merely slow down the progression of our disease But started a conversation with us & empathetically gave us options to manage our disease Daily nutrition, mindset, meditation, stress levels, sleep, hydration.. How different would our world look? I remember when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 15 I was told by my neurologist that no matter what I did I was going to be wheelchair bound with how rapid my disease was progressing.... But if I took medication it would slow down the progression. That’s all... SLOW DOWN. You’re telling me no matter what I did. Even with this medication. One day I wouldn’t even be able to walk on my own. For my dear mom and I... that wasn’t an answer for us! We turned to diet... and the doctor said it wouldn’t work. Although this journey is hard and I have to be as near to perfect everyday. I’m doing pretty dang good at managing my symptoms 9 years later for an incurable debilitating disease. Don’t give up hope and resilience, my friends 💗 Stay open to the idea that our daily habits can change our lives significantly 🧘🏻‍♀️ If you would like some guidance, DM me and I would love to talk to you about my March Autoimmune Wellness Group course ☺️🧡 -- #ms #multiplesclerosis #multiplesclerosisawareness #msawarenessmonth #hashimotos #healing #nutrition #holistic #holistichealth #wellness #vitality #health #healthy #spoonie #msstrong #wahlswarrior #wahlsprotocol #aip

You forgot one crucial step, warrior! And I completely get it. As an autoimmune warrior myself, I thought a food sensitivity test would give me all of the answers I needed! Eliminate all of the foods that the food sensitivity test said were bad for me and all of my symptoms would go away… right? ❌ COMPLETELY WRONG This is a sure fire sign that your GUT isn’t functioning properly and needs to be HEALED first!! In simple terms: Everyone has their own root cause of why their gut is leaky and needs to be repaired and patched up (this is where a health professional such as myself would come in) but for now here are some quick tips What your body actually needs: ✅ SOME GUT TLC ✅ Proper Nutrients ✅ Variety and Diversity of Veggies (gut microbiota love this stuff) ✅ Balanced Macros ✅ Gut healing Nutrients Everyone is going to need a different formula… So if you want more answers on how decrease autoimmune symptoms… DM me and I would love to help you get to the root cause of your symptoms ❤️‍🩹 -- #food #foodsensitivities #foodsensitivitytest #foodie #ms #multiplesclerosis #diagnosis #hope #mshope #wahls #wahlsprotocol #autoimmunedisease #autoimmunewarrior #autoimmunewellness #aip #autoimmuneprotocol #autoimmunepaleo #paleo #paleo #keto #wahlspaleo #wahlspaleoprotocol #health #healthyrecipes #healthylifestyle #healthcoach

  • @autoimmune.wellnesswarriors

An invisible illness is frustrating. If people could see what we had to deal with inside, on the outside… This would be a complete different story. As a person who chose to completely manage my autoimmune disease through nutrition and lifestyle habits… It’s more than being “health conscious” It feels like life or death sometimes. It’s turned into… My food is my medicine I know without my habits that I have day in and day out To fuel my body with an abundance-of nutrients While eliminating inflammatory foods That I’ll end up back at my rock bottom… Silently suffering with an invisible illness That no one else can see or feel but me. I’m here today to tell you… That there’s still so much HOPE in your journey. You CAN manage this. And it takes lots of determination and patience But it is 100% possible This is the reason I became a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner… I believe in the power of our habits and our foods… because I’ve felt it myself! Anyone else? Jumping into a wellness journey is tough enough… But trying to feel better overnight puts so much pressure and stress on a person that it just leaves you in a worse place than you were before! This is why I believe in the power of “baby steps” when entering a wellness journey! Hitting one small goal and then the next and the next and the next until you finally hit that big goal! It honestly helps to focus on the progress and not on perfection from day one! At least for me … I need to feel like I’m hitting goals (and what helps is breaking up the big goals into smaller goals to make me feel like I’m winning daily) This is called a wellness journey for a reason 😉 It takes time and that’s 100% okay and what makes this all sustainable for a lifetime! Just like you didn't get like this overnight. You're not going to repair your body the day you plant the seed. Keep going. It's worth it, warrior. CHALLENGE: Break your big goals into smaller goals today! Celebrate your victories! I promise you can find at least one victory each and everyday!! -- #ms #multiplesclerosis #diagnosis #hope #mshope #wahls #wahlsprotocol #autoimmunedisease #autoimmunewarrior #autoimmunewellness #aip #autoimmuneprotocol #autoimmunepaleo #paleo #paleo #keto #wahlspaleo #wahlspaleoprotocol #health #healthyrecipes #healthylifestyle #healthcoach

And fish is the best meat if it's sourced from right source. Anyways I m a vegetarian maybe so are u but you can't push it on to the. Rest claiming health, environmental and cruelty concerns. Sometimes u gotta listen to ur body and consume what feels and works well.. Sometimes carcinogens can better absorb into our bodies and the negative effects can be neutralized by say intermittent fasting or some alkaline foods to reduce acidity of carcinogenic foods.. Like bacon In Sanskrit scriptures it says ' for one life to live the other must die or sacrifice it's life. '

Delicious and Healthy? It is possible to do both! I feel like it is a common misconception to think “if it’s healthy, it most likely won’t taste good” 💭 I’m here to show you how wrong that is! As someone who has followed a modified paleo diet for the past 8 years to manage my autoimmune disease.. I have learned a few tricks and hacks 😉 RECIPES: 🍵 Matcha (I add collagen peptides and some coconut milk) 🥬 Kale- Berry Smoothie: 1/2 cup kale, 1/2 cup spinach, collagen peptides, coconut or almond milk, 1 cup frozen mixed berries, PC oil 🍳 Breakfast Hash: Homemade almond flour tortillas, 3 eggs, arugula, basil and 2 bacon 🥗 Chicken Bacon Salad: Mixed Greens, 1 Bacon, Chicken and Olive Oil/ Lemon Dressing Sprouted Cashews: I get hungry when I work all day (I like to snack) Loaded Sweet Potato: 1 Sweet Potato, 1 avocado, ground beef, 1 bacon, mushrooms, onions, spinach, arugula and basil I could say I usually don’t have this much bacon every day - it was the craving for a day 😂 Typically this is what a day in my diet is like!! I too tired to do all that🥱

  • @autoimmune.wellnesswarriors

I feel like Fatigue is the #1 complaint I hear with many many clients when they first start with me. What few know - is that although our autoimmune disease brings ton of symptoms such as fatigue It can be combated through our daily habits And we can take back our energy alot faster than we could have ever imagined ! Habits such as : Nutrient Dense Whole Foods: Eating vegetables, fruits and meat protein each day can increase our energy. These meals are best cooked at home so we know exactly what is going into our meal! Decreasing Caffeine and Stimulants:These substances may have amazing energy spikes - but the crashes are always way worse. When we constantly consume caffeine to increase our energy, we are caught in an endless cycle of peaks and worse drops. This puts a huge strain on our adrenals Eliminate Food Intolerances: Food intolerances cause our body to work even harder for us to fight off inflammation. Which not only takes our energy away but increases symptoms! Switch Oils: As a society, we are consuming x16 more Omega 6 Fatty acids than we need - leading to increased inflammation. This is due to many things - but mostly hydrogenated foods and OILS. A quick way to decrease inflammation and increase energy is to switch your oils! Coconut Oil is a great switch!! Exercise Regimen: Our movement plays a huge role in our energy. If you're not moving at all - please know that gravity plays a huge role on how much we can move in the future - we need to keep moving. On another note, if you're pushing your body too hard every single day - this could be leading you to a concept known as exercise intolerance - which could be doing your body more harm than good! Leave a 🧡 down below if you love quick tips like this!

Another misconception that always gets me (and trust me I wish it was different) Is the whole “one bite won’t hurt” Foods like gluten stay in our system for months before their completely cleaned out If you’ve been on this wellness journey long enough, Your body feels the significant difference automatically I wish it was different. I wish we were like a “normal person” But in order to live our best life We have to do the things others won’t. Because on a wellness journey- our goal is not merely to survive, it’s to thrive!! 💪 Also give yourself grace, you don’t need to be perfect from day 1 This is called a journey and not a destination for a reason, warrior! You got this - this is your journey!! 🧡

😏 you forgot one important thing coach. SLEEPING well 😁. Preferably early to bed maybe early to rise. Actually check out Dr Eric Berg. I don't agree with him on everything. But He has some tips for autoimmunity. I tried taking huge does of vit d but it just sent vit d levels of the charts ahaha.. But since I was taking k2 and my calcium was bit lower side it didn't increase calcium levels in blood and lead to calcification of arteries and soft tissue and formation of kidney stone 😅

ITS NOT NORMAL! Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired ? You’ve heard this diet stuff works... but it honestly just sounds too good to be true so your skeptical OR Maybe you’ve tried the diet stuff but... 1 - it was too hard to be sustainable 2- it was too complicated 3 - you didn’t understand what you we’re doing wrong I completely understand... AIP? Wahls Protocol? Whole 30? What do you do? Which one is the right diet for you ? There’s so much information it’s overwhelming!! Well there’s something called Bioindividuality meaning there’s not a one size fits all diet - we all have personal food sensitivities in addition to the common autoimmune sensitivities as wells as foods that we thrive on that repair and build up our cells This is where I come in as a NTP... I help you adapt into a sustainable diet that is personalized to YOU that will manage your autoimmune disease How’s your experience been with diet and autoimmunity? -- #ms #msawarness #msawarenessmonth #msstrong #mswellness #wahls #spoonie #spoon #multiplesclerosis #multiplesclerosisawareness #multiplesclerosisfighter #wahls #wahlswarrior #aip #paleo #autoimmuneprotocol #worldmsday #worldmsday2022 #hope #vitality #autoimmuneprotocol #autoimmunepaleo #stress #stressrelief #wahlsprotocol

Hmm doctor give some anti inflammatory for mild cases. And steroids for severe cases I guess. But it's not a solution.

I sense that my body seems to like raw food . Fruits and vegetables. Soaked nuts. Especially Walnuts and groundnuts/peanuts. Dairy I love curds/yoghurt. I can't leave it. Been my thing since I was kid.. Milk dropped it largely. Didn't make a difference..so have it occasional not daily like before..
