I'm Brazilian 🇧🇷 and I agree with everything. Crime rates in Brazil are high, police officers either don't work (see a police officer in 'São Paulo' who called the police after a robbery and did nothing) or have a life parallel to crime, and public management is extremely corrupt - It's just different if you belong to certain families or political parties, everything involving Public Power is slow and doesn't work. Every Brazilian knows someone who has been robbed (I've had my car broken into 3 times) and sometimes killed by crime. If most Brazilians had economic power, they would undoubtedly leave the country (and that's what celebrities/businessmen who are successful in Brazil do - they move to the USA or Europe - see "Irmãos Batista" and others). The video is excellent for making this warning. 👌

@michaelk there is an incredible array of great food available in the marketplace but not necessarily so easily found in typical restaurants and especially on the street. It's mostly fat fried food, not healthy food. And outside of fine dining in big cities I found more tasty healthy (especially seafood), on the coast.. not in Medellin.. Medellin is a big cash register and it's all about fast and cheap and profitable. But if you love your tough as leather carne and fatty pork you will be right at home.
