I heard this Pallavi first time from KVN. surprised by his execution. the easiness he jumps from raga was astonishing. The systematic treatment was out of the world. Ariyakudi one is different. He knows to pierce into the audience mind by dramatic and more soulful rendering. I fail to recognize where the magic lies. Is it his sound, or pace, or knowledge to present the essence of raga! TNK is essentially violin version of Ariyakudi. No one (apart from Ariyakudi) has abstracted music like him. He is in top shape here!!

This is one of the best and unique of its kind. My father was always used to recall this. He was itching to listen this. But, he is no more. Thanks for uploading this best thani.. 🙏🙏🙏

one can hear these lines in KVN's raga elaboration of Shankarabharanam in later part of his concerts. same i felt about Kalyani also. he would add a tinge of yamuna kalyani flavour to the raga. probably some hindusthani touch.

one wishes that Yadukulakamboji would never finishes. Then the evergreen Bhairavi Swarajithi Then weighty Thodi is almost beyond human! Thodi's grandeur is lavishly expressed. the switch between lower sthayi and upper sthayi by MS is jaw dropping. The exploration celebrates the Raga, Shyamashastri's brilliance and MS' depth, knowledge, and her ability to deliver the top-notch quality without any blemishes! Words are not there to express anything about these grand renditions!

masterpieces. unfortunately, we rarely get the chances to hear yadukulakamboji and thodi swarajathis. MS had sung all three of them in sublime manner.
