Переглядів 2 тис.11 місяців тому
Welcome all to our 1970 Beetle known by its awesome numberplate as ‘Danish’! We’re building this lovely late model into a super cool but super useable car, keeping as much of the ‘charm’ of its fairly flat paintwork and imperfections all present. No perfect show-car here, this car is being built for enjoyment. In this first episode, we strip the car ready for its first stage and clean up/fix a ...

Just perfect!! Building a 1973 beetle right now. Do you ship to Canada? Really want one of your bolt on kits
How does it ride versus a tradition suspension?
does this go on 73 beetle as well?
Lots of love from south Africa Johannesburg 🇿🇦
Hi buddy when are we getting more content
WOW! How do you get the front so low without the ball joints stopping it? I have clearanced/long travel ball joints and mine still bind!
@@JoeHayek-c2j not all ‘long travel’ joints are created equal! We tested a load, and settled on the ones we supply with our kits now :)
How well do these kits handle performance steering? I am looking to make a fun driving car
Amazing ❤
Hi.. The video is useful. I have a question: Is it possible to install the VW Brasilia 2.3 engine on the VW 1303. Thank you .
How important are the shock relocaters I have different stile of shocks but having problems lifting the front . There's air in lines ,No air leaks pressure switch is working , there's no rubbing of any parts but front won't go up. Any info will be appreciated thanks
When will be available again?
I have no words about your product 😢
yo buddy when is the next video?
that booty walking in 19:28 needs to have its own episode
Such a beautiful kit! One question though, the rear spring plates look like they are located and pivoting only in/by the end plates? Would this not wear the rubbers out quickly? Wondering why not a solid or roller bar like in the front for the spring plates to pivot on?
Love the kit. I ordered mine for my IRS. I also just ordered the air tank and fuel tank riser!! Can you tell me where those wheels are from? the rears look like 8” wide.
What are the tire size are the fronts and rears
Hi I was wondering where could I buy this air suspension kit? And would it fit on my 1966 vw beetle
Nice car but Way too slammed in the rear for drag racing. Your only using half the tire and no travel for compressing the rear suspension.
Thanks. At drive height though, with the 2” engine and box raise the camber is very minimal so the contact patch is pretty much 100% of the width of the tyre. Dropped down though yes, but it doesn’t get driven that low as it would just eat axles
Mannnn, get out of town, NICE job on the build. I've got a way to go on mine, haha. Are those 17" Escras? ua-cam.com/video/msLKvB6mxJc/v-deo.html
How to make bracket airsuspension rear?
How to make bracket bag airsuspension rear?
I just saw you……..on CAR SOS!!! 😂
How narrow is the beam in the video? 2 or 4?
Absolutely sweet as 💪
Size tire did you use!? Thanks in advance
195/65 R15 rear and 145/65 R15 front 👍🏻
Good video Max. Tell me, what would the reason be for being able to install three of the four Trading arms without any problem whatsoever and then the fourth just will not fit? It’s almost as if the internal diameter of the recess in the beam is too small, and that thepolyurethane bushes are stopping the Trading arm from driving in. It’s one of your beams and it works lovely, but I am absolutely stumped on this. I’ve lost three weekends trying to figure it out!
Hey man! Sounds like a pain… I do have some idea what it could be though and I’ve experienced it a lot! Have you checked the arm for straightness? I’ve had a load of bent ones in the past…. They’re hard to spot but literally won’t fit for anything. I would suggest trying the other side arm in the side you’re having trouble with. If it fits in like you’d expect, then you have an issue with the arm and not the beam… If you get stuck, drop me an email please Eva_resto@outlook.com Cheers
Cracking car, reminds me a bit of the Andy Parrot blue one. Would like to see it with a CB performance or a Rad turbo kit on it one day. 🤙
Do you delivered to USA
Great work!
what size tires you runnin?
the 3 wheel!!!! amazing
Such a nice kit! I really want one 😊. How long does it normally take you guys to fit and setup.
If only I had the money to bag my 57, it’ll have to stay static for now
Do yall offer full air ride for US IRS beetles? I have a 72 US beetle. It looks like that is still swing axle?
We do! You US guys got IRS as standard in the rear from ‘68, all standard style euro cars stayed swing until the end. IRS doesn’t go as low, but we do do a bolt-on kit similar to this one 👍🏻
Nice, wonder how much would this beetle cost ?
Love it! Those wheels
LUVING UR works LUV ❤ALONE ❤RASTAFORI
Great video, good job.
Thank you!
Buyoo T full VW LUV ❤️ ALONE ❤️ RASTAFORI
I love it 🤘🤘❤❤
It is perfect What is color specs?
How did you solve the air up/air down toe problem of the driver side I have some pretty significant toe issues when running my air while driving
It’s not something you can ever solve on an air ride car, not without completely redesigning the steering setup. It’s always the short track rod side, worse on a RHD car. Shorter the rod, the more the toe change through the suspension travel. You’ll always get some toe out on air out unfortunately, just set your alignment up to drive height and go with that. Track rod flip can help… but can also cause other issues so doesn’t instantly fix everything
I was very impressed by the engineering design of all EVA products.
Stunning car, the craftsmanship on it is superb. With all that weight and functionality you shouldn't be bummed about the 14 second 1/4 mile, its a very quick and respectable driver that clearly wins a lot at shows.
Appreciate it man, thank you! I guess to me it still feels like the fastest thing in the world, I’d told myself for too long that it was a 13 second car 😂
Cherry
Hi, how much do you charge to supply and fit this air ride kit?
We charge in the region of £950 for an install like this one, start to finish 👍🏻
motiviert mich ungemein. hammer!
Very clever bit of kit! I like that rack for the tank and compressor. Are 70s swing axle over there?
Thanks! And yes, all our later models until end of German production (1979) were swing axle at the back, aside from 1303/2 and semi automatic cars as they had IRS. ‘68 onwards in US spec are all IRS, is that right?
Great video. Could you do one where you explain the best way of routing your airlines to all four corners?
Awesome. Miss my ‘68 bug but it was rough and rotten so had to go 😢
All too familiar story unfortunately 😥 there’s an awful lot of bad cars out there
