Bug Beetle Vw Volkswagen airride air ride bagged kit bolt on - Авто та транспорт
This makes bagging your Bug seem so easy.
We’ve done so many, we could probably make a go at doing it with our eyes closed at this point😂.
It is pretty straightforward though, with a kit like ours. Put aside 4-5 days to start-finish a car if you’re a beginner.
prepare to be bombarded with danish pastrys at the shows
I’m more than happy with that happening 😂
Great video. Could you do one where you explain the best way of routing your airlines to all four corners?
the 3 wheel!!!! amazing
Slam that bad boy! Ordering my kit soon. Joey here from the states. Love the content. 👍✌️🤙🍻
😂 absolutely. And thanks man, appreciate the support! Let me know if I can be of any help in the meantime 👍🏻
Great video, good job.
Thank you!

Awesome. Miss my ‘68 bug but it was rough and rotten so had to go 😢
All too familiar story unfortunately 😥 there’s an awful lot of bad cars out there

Thanks mate 😎
I've always admired your work on here and Instagram, would be my dream to have an air ride kit on my beetle, would need a bloody bank loan to buy it XD, hopefully Santa will send one my way this year XD keep up the good work
Thanks man ❤️❤️
motiviert mich ungemein. hammer!
Very clever bit of kit! I like that rack for the tank and compressor. Are 70s swing axle over there?
Thanks! And yes, all our later models until end of German production (1979) were swing axle at the back, aside from 1303/2 and semi automatic cars as they had IRS.
‘68 onwards in US spec are all IRS, is that right?
If only I had the money to bag my 57, it’ll have to stay static for now
yo buddy when is the next video?
Who makes the whitewall tires? Also, how much narrowed? Trying to calculate how narrow I want to go with empi disk brakes, but not the sucked in wheel look. I like how this setup keeps the front wheel out, less of a sucked in look
They’re whitewall flaps, so just fitted on top of tyres.
This one is a 4” narrow, the best all rounder 👍🏻
Looks great! Would it sit lower without the jack mount and flat panned?
Without the jack point, maybe marginally! But typically a beetle with a 185/65 or 195/65 rear won’t lay the rear pans, even with the axles at max angle like you see here.
With an engine/box raise and some other mods yes, at which point then it would be great to go flat pans to gain some more clearance for driving low!
@evarestovw6861 thanks for the info! I have 185/55 in rear, no jack mounts, flat panned, extended notched spring plates. I hope to order a setup very soon!
Hi I was wondering where could I buy this air suspension kit? And would it fit on my 1966 vw beetle
Love the kit. I ordered mine for my IRS. I also just ordered the air tank and fuel tank riser!!
Can you tell me where those wheels are from?
the rears look like 8” wide.
What are the tire size are the fronts and rears
Do yall offer full air ride for US IRS beetles? I have a 72 US beetle. It looks like that is still swing axle?
We do! You US guys got IRS as standard in the rear from ‘68, all standard style euro cars stayed swing until the end.
IRS doesn’t go as low, but we do do a bolt-on kit similar to this one 👍🏻
awesome build as usual... do you offer finance on the premium kit set up same as this build. ?
Thanks man! We don’t have any system ourselves in place no, but if you’re paying via PayPal, you can finance that payment for anything from 3 months and upwards I believe! We’ve had quite a few customers fund their install this way.
@@eva_resto cheers will look into it.
How did you solve the air up/air down toe problem of the driver side I have some pretty significant toe issues when running my air while driving
It’s not something you can ever solve on an air ride car, not without completely redesigning the steering setup. It’s always the short track rod side, worse on a RHD car. Shorter the rod, the more the toe change through the suspension travel.
You’ll always get some toe out on air out unfortunately, just set your alignment up to drive height and go with that.
Track rod flip can help… but can also cause other issues so doesn’t instantly fix everything
Size tire did you use!? Thanks in advance
195/65 R15 rear and 145/65 R15 front 👍🏻
Hi, how much do you charge to supply and fit this air ride kit?
We charge in the region of £950 for an install like this one, start to finish 👍🏻
Where can I order a kit?
EvaResto.co.uk buddy 👍🏻
Y'all gamers?
Why you ask?
