How to make custom "3D" Game Boy buttons with embedded images
In an effort to broaden my small UA-cam channel I'm bringing you a video today involving one of my other hobbies, handheld video game systems, and more specifically; the customization of them. I starting casting my own Game Boy buttons a few months ago, and after some brainstorming and some trial and error I came up with a multi-part casting method that allows for images (virtually any image you could think of!) to be embedded on the inside of a Game Boy button, sandwiched between the opaque resin of the button and clear resin domed onto the top. If you use this guide to create some buttons of your own I would love to see them! Would you like to see a more in-depth look at my custom handheld collection? Would you like to see more hand held customization guides like this? Comment below!
Thanks for watching and have a nice day.

[MX-5 Miata] How to leather wrap your dashboard
Переглядів 73 тис.6 років тому
Thanks for checking out my video guide on how to upholster your Miata's dashboard. After reupholstering the worn out seats in my 93' LE, I wanted my dash to have a nice updated look also. I redyed my dashboard before wrapping it and fixed a few cracks that were in it. I also removed the slats on the upper defroster vents and replaced them with some black mesh screen. The piece of leather I used...

[MX-5 Miata] Re-skin and restore your seats on the cheap!
Переглядів 96 тис.7 років тому
I recently restored my 93' LE Miata's seats, so I made a video of the process. I hope this video can help anyone who may be considering such an endeavor but is weary of upholstery type projects. I had zero prior experience with this kind of stuff but I'm very satisfied with my outcome! Don't be scared to try something you've never done. And I did it all for under $300! That's less than the cost...
[MX-5 Miata] Front caliper rebuild + brake system flush (NA)
Переглядів 18 тис.7 років тому
I recently took my other Miata out of storage for the winter and found my front left brake caliper sticking very badly. I took apart the caliper and rebuilt it using the new seals & piston from a remanufactured caliper I got at Napa. All of the parts I used can be purchased individually, which I would have done normally but my local Napa already had the caliper in stock and by using it's pieces...
My dog Lulu rescues me in a simulated "Avalanche"

If you've watched a few of my UA-cam videos you may have noticed that I like to include in them short video clips of my dog Lulu and you can usually see her hanging out while I'm making them. We made this video the other day, and although it's a bit too long to include in one of my Miata videos I wanted to share it none the less, and I think some people might get a kick out of it! I love Lulu a...
[MX-5 Miata] Retro rear panel from start to finish
Переглядів 9 тис.7 років тому
I've had this panel for quite awhile and I've finally finished it and installed it. It is a Sickspeed panel, not an authentic Garage Vary panel. I hit a major road block when the paint store said they could not match my paint, and my only hope was to respray my entire car another color. Good thing I didn't fucking listen to that guy! I was able to match my car's non-factory paint (from a previo...

🍄 Driving with VR Goggles on! 👓Augmented reality in my MX-5 Miata 😵

Do not try this at home! I assume no responsibility for any attempts to re-create any part of this video! This was done in my driveway with extreme caution, and for my own entertainment. I'm using custom home made VR goggles, created from binocular lenses, ski goggles, cardboard, hot glue, duct tape, and decorated with Foamies. The app I am using on my phone is Glitcher VR, an augmented reality...

[MX-5 Miata] ⚡ Simple H4 headlight upgrade (NA)
Переглядів 8 тис.7 років тому
I upgraded the headlights on my 93' MX-5 Miata by replacing the sealed beam headlights with a set of Autopal E-code European headlights that I used to have on my MK2 VW Jetta. Light output is much better, and also allows for a larger range of headlights/bulbs to choose from in the future. Using E-code headlights also lets you run European style parking lights (or whatever kind of lights you wan...
[MX-5 Miata] ✂️ Making new tail light seals using Foamies!
Переглядів 2,5 тис.7 років тому
My trunk was getting a decent amount of moisture inside of it after getting rain. The culprit was old worn out tail like seals. I didn't want to wait for new ones to come in the mail (plus I didn't want to spend money on something I could make easily), so I got crafty and made these ones out of stuff I had around the house/garage. I used Foamies self adhesive foam sheets stacked in layers and c...
🔥 Starting post fire damage repairs on my brother's Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS
Переглядів 1,7 тис.7 років тому
An unfortunate accident happened in the wee morning hours of Oct. 27th, and my family's farm house was burnt down. A gas line to the kitchen stove is believed to be the culprit. My brother lived there and since he is busy with countless other things at the moment I'm going to be fixing his car for him. Luckily the damage is limited to cosmetics only. I tear down the front end, and look for any ...

Hi, I also have a '93 LE (#928) and I really like all of the work you've done on yours. I was wondering if the seats were Red or Burgundy? I'm guessing the former but thought I'd check. Thanks!

You probably already ordered, but I'm also in the process of getting ready to restore some LE seats, and I emailed interior inovations, and they say Burgundy is what they recommend, but they are sending me samples of the Red and Burgundy, so, if you haven't yet, remind me to let you know once I get the samples!

Hi! I am really hoping you can help me. I am able to get an entirely new part that house the graphics but your video didn't go into how to actually remove and replace the part, or the housing under the shifter handle. After removing the console how did you remove the housing so you can work on it? I want to just replace it. Especially the shifter handle. How is that removed also? Hoping you can help me! (Can't find it anywhere on UA-cam)

For those who want to do this. Use contact cement. Spray or brush on. DO not use spray adhensive. It will eventually come undone.

Wow your video and the steps you included were so good! Would definately be worth paying something for! I could not have done this without your video and/or it would not have turned out so good. About the only step I didn't do was the covering of the bottom of the seat; other than that I did everything just as you outlined. As one or two other people mentoned, I do wonder what the life expectancy will be of the plastic wire ties but also can not image trying to get hog rings down into some of the places; I think would be really really hard to do. If they would fail; I would just redo that part and I think I would still use wire ties to bring the points together; that might make hog rings possible. Thanks again!!!

Maybe the foam is in too good a condition on my seats but there is no way I can get a zip tie to push down and pop the end on the other side of the wire, there is to much foam injected all around that wire. I worked at it for 30 minutes with a couple different sizes, no go. I guess I'm off to get hog rings and pliers for doing it the old fashioned way.
