This song is so genius because it works on so many levels. It’s about obsession and it successfully compels the audience to obsess over the meaning. 😂 I see the toxic relationship level as the metaphorical through line of the song, but not as the ultimate meaning. There also seems to be an element of Bang Chan playing more the role of the obsessor while Hyunjin is more the object of obsession, who slowly gains contol over the course of the video... But like all obsession, it is inherently selfish, which is why it ends on the mirror shots. It is great to have passions in life, whether relationships, hobbies, or professions, but if you let it devolve into obsession, it will contol you and consume you until you have nothing left. The costuming in this is a hybrid between fencing uniforms and straight jackets, which is a very clever way to portray that knife's edge between total control and total lack of control. Genius.

Very late but as someone who is not that into music, your rants about how you differentiate and identify rappers was very insightful. I also loved that you did a mini breakdown of changbin and han's rap styles. In most Stray Kids guides, Bang Chan's raps are not focused on as he is not very strong in that area. He's my bias and god knows I love him to death but he is a stronger singer than rapper. I also think Stays should drop the whole "multi-talented" thing for SKZ. All the members DEFINITELY and OBVIOUSLY have areas they excel in. And as you said, even if they are good at those other areas, are they learning more about it? We can't call Changbin and I.N multi-talented because they both clearly have areas they excel in and focus on. They can do both, but they're not insanely talented at both. Han tho...Han is the real deal. He isn't called the Ace of 4th gen kpop for no reason. I also can't explain him and his talent tbh. Quick Sidenote: I understand why you brought up BTS often during the video. You were just discussing how you liked a skz member and a bts member for similar reasons.
