@@nicomontes310 No problem, I started up the game to double check and I'm wearing a a Handicraft +4 oo- charm. Definitely on the better side but nowhere near a god charm, I'm sure you could put your own charms into any armor set builder (i.e. github.com/AthenaADP/MH3U-ASS ) and come up with something as good or better.

If I studied his moveset and patterns I could probably get a good read on him eventually, but I was far too exhausted by things like flying swallow coming out so quickly and oneshotting me, I do not have those fighting game reaction times

High risk high reward buffs are a 10/10 concept in games. I never used Adrenaline in monhun but I abused the hell out of Last Gambit pill in both Nioh games

Compared to doing one hit with any high tier blunt weapon all other methods are way too expensive by comparison. Sledgehammer should work if you still can't get Suslov to stock a crowbar. If you are especially impatient you can use .700 Nitro Express or 23x76 shrapnel rounds, the latter of which can be fired from the sawn-off in the Radar vanilla stash.

​@@mugwort1Im a bit late but thanks for the tips. If someone needs tips, crowbar works very well too one or two hitting them depending on how damaged it is. Seems i have a new problem don't know how to use the detonator, it just wastes it's durability.

@@david-yi6dm The detonator is designed for use with plastic explosives. After placing some on the ground, using it will detonate all of them in range. One of my favorite methods for cheesing ambush quests!

Melee mechanics are generally pretty terrible in stalker mods, shooting a tiny invisible bullet is the worst way to implement first-person melee combat. At least I can play Vermintide for a palate cleanser

@@mugwort1 Dead air melee is by far the best for stalker, but take that with a grain of salt. That mod has quick melee and many knifes i have made a modpack for dead air that removes artificial difficulty called tazair because devs love to make mutants unkillable in stalker mods for unknown reason. If you encounter chimera in dead air or bloodsucker you are screwed for real, takes more than 300 rds of 7.62x39 to kill a chimera.

If you're dropping it on the slab where the note is it should just send you out. I've tried to get it to work but never ended up using it. I just go to CNPP-2 and immediately loop back to CNPP-1 whenever I want to leave sarc

@@mugwort1 i dont have a way to get to cnpp 2, so i'm kinda stuck unless i load an earlier save, i'll see about trying that

@@thundersufferer2977 If you have the decoder from vanilla to get into Monolith Control Bunker you can go there, then to CNPP2

@@thundersufferer2977 It should be open if it's your first visit there and you've done the decoder shenanigans, then you get the vanilla storyline dialogue. You can also force the door open or complete Ghost's quests to have it open permanently: op-2.fandom.com/wiki/A_Farewell_Note

Last night i raided cnpp, then slept 12 hours from the mental gymnastics you have to go trough, just carry grenades and rocket launchers everywhere you will be fighting unmanned turrets everywhere with aimbot accuracy.

@@LONERZ Fire a freaking rpg rocket at a deathclaw - it does nothing... boink it on the head with a crowbar it freakin colapses and dies instantly... perfectly balanced as things should be but i accepted that op 2.2 is only there to test your gamer skills in offline scenario. Also mosquitoes biting you trough scientific exosuit and tanking 2 slugs in a row from shotgun (freaking 28 grams shotgun slug hitting a mosquito at 400m/s and the freak tanks another one?) Can't throw remote explosives, it takes 2 shots to trigger them (why?) Apparently 9mm dissapears in the air beyond 60m (wtf) Wonky animations you present the grenade before you throw it like "this is a grenade", freaking throw it there is a pseudogiant chewing on you! You cannot shoot while you eat (why?) im being mauled to death by boars but let me finnish my kolbasa or conserva idk what is your cuisine in the zone. Would play it again after work 10/10.

I've had closer, my first clear of MH3U G-rank Alatreon was around 10 seconds left on a 50 minute timer

Good luck! It's more like a few hundred hours of content for a full playthrough, but not all content is created equally. You can cut it shorter by ignoring the more boring fetch tasks that aren't important to the storylines. Softlocking is relatively rare if you are playing carefully but the two end storylines (which aren't that good) have untranslated dialogue. The gist of them is on the wiki so you won't miss anything important if you reference it.

@@mugwort1 Ah that's good to know then. I was worried I'd have to have a guide open most of the time to do things in the proper order or whatever so my game wouldn't be fucked. I have auto saves on and save on level as well so I think I should be good. Can't believe how many locations are in this mod!

update: holy balls you get shit on so fucking hard in the beginning with the ai aim. you really need to prioritize bulletproofing artifacts. I definitely have the wiki and other sources open a lot to make sure I don't fuck some quests up (I almost failed compromising materials by failing to realize its a 24 hour window and consequently making a mad dash to the forgotten forest for some emergency vodka). Also had to babysit Fistful so he would go back to the fucking camp with chemist and so that he wouldn't be permanently softlocked for the rest of the game. Saving the dutyers at dark valley wasn't that bad but it seems like saving the four scientists at wild territory is going to be very annoying. Still love the mod a lot regardless so far. Excited to see all the locations and try out all the cool guns, armors, and artifacts!

No particular reason, I just like this set. The only other weapon I play in 3U is GS and I like it even less underwater.

I don't personally agree that the sns sucks underwater, while there is some flaws in the form of less dps the underwater sns does compensate with some of its strengths 1. While im not sure if it gets an increase in raw it certainly deals more KO damage underwater, you can stun monsters much more easily in 5 to 6 hits 2. Items like regular bounce bombs now work as long range projectiles underwater while also having the properties of a sonic bomb (useful since sonic bombs can easily flinch monsters underwater) with this in mind the sns gets both increase range and the ability to stop almost any monsters in its tracks, yes, including a lagiacrus fully charge shockwave 3. Lastly a underrated aspect of the sns that i dont see much people talking about is the ability to do a double roll, this is already useful on land but specially strong underwater where you can dodge now upwards or downwards basically increasing your mobility. Out of all the changes that ive mention, the regular bounce bomb is probably the game changer for the underwater sns, being able to constantly keep the offensive from both up close and far away while also being able to easily interrupt any sorft of attacks its something only a few weapons could say they can do properly underwater

MHGU is only on switch, but can be emulated on PC with ryujinx. The 3DS version can also be emulated but needs a translation patch.

Adept GS is pretty hard to pilot, I would try valor if you're having issues dealing enough damage safely

@@mugwort1 yeah but valor is also risky because yo get damage by dodging. I really like adept to him because it cancels damage, but is risky, especially because the sword attack. If it catches you in an uncomfortable position you are dead. I keep hitting it and that bitch don’t die and I lost by time one again😂

Which great sword are you using? I was able to do it with adept great sword using the ice steel edge with time to spare its problem the best ice gs in the game. . You just gotta learn boltreavers openings

@@thadbanks7345 I just finished it with adept also. The problem was the damage because I was wearing the boltreaver set and the ahtal ka gs but no damage for gs abilities

I finally did it, in 47 minutes! I solo'd 20 Hi-rank Alatreon before going into the G-Rank
