Dad always said thats one way to tell if your saw is sharp. Fine dust.
Ravi, there is a simple formula to calculate the weight, in pounds, of a piece of quartz. Take the weight, in ounces, and divide by 16. Simple.....no? Always there to help. Dave
Thank you professor, glad I have you for helpful tips, I’ll start mathing now.
Mines 30 ft...16 horse
Thank you for going over how to disconnect a Mr. cool heat pump system. I need to replace my outdoor unit and was concerned about removing the line set and this helped clear it up. again thank you
Glad i was able to help. good luck
Now you're famous?
didn't you know???
"This thing is DANGEROUS!" *Gives it another go*
i mean ... of course!
@@ProfessionalHomeowner Love it. Mine is on the way. Cheers!
@Convolutedtubules awesome, you won’t be disappointed. Just dial down the psi on your compressor or allow the tool to bounce off the nail a little so it doesn’t shoot out like mine
@@ProfessionalHomeowner I've seen others use a bucket of water or sawdust. Or even better, 3 buckets, so you don't have to move around the planks, just pop the nails out from the ends and middle.
@Convolutedtubules I started doing that but into a garbage can… easier for clean up
I wonder how many lose an eye on the first go.
Btw I was wearing eye protection… I think
@@ProfessionalHomeowner 00:30 I'm sure you have your safety squints on!
@Convolutedtubules well of course I did and partially looked away lol
fancy work RG
That’s all Mark, I was just the camera man and assistant. But thanks!!
Thanks for the video! I’ll go pick one up, I’m sold.
they are great ... i have two, one for sharp and one dull, Grey and Orange
Just saying, that totally awesome is gonna start working into the paint. Check it in a few weeks and tell me how it looks. 😅
@@YungSauce302 for real???
I just spent $1500 on the left controller for a Cat 257B. After installing I watched this video since the right one was leaking. I bought the bullet set (including a new grip) for about $100 off of EBay to "rebuild" the right one - well worth your time to fix it yourself. Great video! Pro tip: make sure you relieve hydraulic pressure before removal or working while valve assy is still mounted. Also, if you remove the valve assy have caps for the lines. The pressure, control, and tank/return lines do not have one way check valves! At least not on a 2005 Cat 257B, so once you disconnect the lines your system will continue to bleed fluid...trust me, ugh!
@@mattdarbro4830 ooooouch! $1500! I didn’t have caps for the disconnected lines so I just put them in a bucket to catch the fluid. It needed to be changed anyway so it worked out. The taki takes 15/40 motor oil as the hydraulic fluid… thought that was interesting makes keeping fluid on hand easier since I have a Cummins, bobcat e32 and the skid loader.
can you remove the line set that connects to the shorter line set that comes from the air handler and connects to the longer line set you just removed?
No you can’t. It is brazed onto the connection inside the unit. It’s best not to mess with it unless you know what you’re doing.
@@ProfessionalHomeowner it has the same mech as the long line set. If you remember when installing. You use two wrenches to screw the small line set from the air handler to the long line set that goes to the unit. Shouldn't it be the same? Because I need to move the air handler as well as the unit.
@@kai6424 oh sorry, I thought you were talking about removing it from the air handler, yes, you can certainly disconnect the long line sets from the short line set, and it will be the same function. They will automatically close.
@@ProfessionalHomeowner Thanks for the reassurance. I appreciate the video and reply.
@kai6424 no problem glade to help.
Good use for a planned obsolescence part
Cool as fuck
Thanks
Steam punk is so lame.
Ford Trans are good for something 😂
G.M = POOP !!!!!
Thank you so much for creating and posting this video. Our Mr. Cool died a week or so ago and nobody in our area will work on it. From some deep research, it is probably a circuit board in the inside part of the unit. We have started pricing a replacement circuit board and plan on replacing it ourselves. We use to build computers for fun many years ago. We have ordered a new more powerful unit and will install it when it gets here and then we can disassemble the old unit. Apparently Mr. Cool has made many enemies and none of them will work on any Mr. Cool units currently, ca. July 2024. Maybe when they get more market share that will change.
Sorry to hear about your system going down. Mine is currently down but it cools the garage and it’s not a priority at the moment. It’s give me an F6 error on the inside units. I’m sure it’s simple enough to fix or replace parts, after all it’s a diy system. HVAC companies in my area won’t service them either. Mainly because they don’t get to charge the absorbent rates to install … these systems are cutting into their profits.
A Ford you say? I’m sure it’s been fixed a few times so no telling what it ended up as. Useful to the end don’t lived a good life.
Trans sink? So what gender is it?
There’s no telling … depends on the direction of the wind
@@ProfessionalHomeowner😂
@@ProfessionalHomeowneryeah I wouldn’t market it as a “tranny sink” 😬 … 🤷🏻♂️ Very Much Cool AF
@@ProfessionalHomeownerTransphobic responses lol. No wonder you've been on YT for 17 yrs with only 1k followers.
Thanks
Perfect 😂
Fuck yes
Thats so cool
Mine just did the same thing. Damnit!
How long have you had your mill? Fortunately WM has a good replacement now. They’ll send them out quick and you’ll be back in no time. When you’re doing the replacement be very careful when raising the carriage. The hand crank lever will need to be pressed as you go up.

Beautiful wood. Woodgrain is like God's hidden art projects, it's different and amazing nearly every time👍
thanks ... opening any log is like a finding treasure, especially with Walnut
That’s some fine looking walnut. Missouri?
Thanks! we're in westchester, ny
Do you have a video of you installing the 27k unit?
Unfortunately I don’t but there are many videos on installing them. Basically it’s all the same just follow the steps listed in the manual. It’s very easy.
Can these go bad internally I got a vermeer in the shop that wants to drive forward on its own them any input it spins to the right
Not really. It’s actually a relatively simple mechanism. Sounds like either the hoses are connected incorrectly or you have another problem with other valves attached to the hydro pump.
Overbearing , bad to see ! Must I say more?
puke
Gorgeous!
Beautiful flooring! Unique.
Do it for the ‘poxy.
So the pre-charged lines seal the self off once disconnected?
Yes
Those are not king valves. King valves are attached to a receiver tank.
in the installation manual on page 30 they reference "King Valves". They might be making the wrong reference but thats where I got that term from. Thanks for your input.
Kohler small engines are mostly built in China and parts manufactured in Japan, as per their website. It’s the larger engines that are made in America. Just wanted to correct you on that. Other than that bit, nice review!
Thanks for clearing that up… as I’ve come to find out majority of their products are built in china. Disappointing but nothing is going to change.
@@ProfessionalHomeowner absolutely, it is highly disappointing, even many of the engines I worked on while active duty have Chinese ties, along with parts and such.
You did a great job.
Thank you!!
You need to hide the chrome on all the cylinders before you start.
Not sure what you mean… should the piston be inside the cylinder?
@@ProfessionalHomeowner Yeah i guess it pushes as much fluid out as possible
Got it, the fluid would get pushed back into the tank…except what happens when you pull the piston out, won’t it pull fluid out with it even thought the pump is off?
@@ProfessionalHomeowner you just leave them closed while you swap the fluid
@jeffjames9568 got it, thanks so much

“SING IT JUNIOR !”
Good video Ravi. That Paulonia looks like it's only 7-8 years old. Where was it growing? I've wanted to plant some for a long time but am afraid it won't grow this far north. Dave
Thank you professor, that tree grew very fast, from what the customer tells me, it can almost grown anywhere. However, not sure about your climate… you guys get some Canadian cold!
Btw did you get my email??
Thanks for posting video on replacement of seals. I just completed the seals on my tl230 series 2. I'd suggest leaving pilot valve on machine to do it with less mess and work. Also you will have to de-pin the control stick plug to pull wire and be able to unscrew stick which was pretty easy..Just make sure to take a picture of where the wires go
Thanks for watching. I should have left it in but it had been leaking for so long that the whole area needed to be cleaned with degreaser and pressure washer. Oh pictures have helped so much … they never lie or forget. I love this machine… would even go so far to get the motor rebuilt if it came to it. Thanks for watching.
