Adventure to Mabua - Part 3 | Mosomane Wilderness Trail, Nossob, Bitterpan and Khamkirri
In this video we explore the Mosomane Wilderness Trail, and head through Nossob for a night at Bitterpan. Running low on fuel due to a non-functioning petrol pump we push on to Mata-Mata to full up and then make our way back to Nossob for our last night in the park. Our last day see us get lucky with a big cat on our way out, as we head out to Khamkirri for a night so we can breakup the journey back home into two.

Awesome!! Can't wait to camp there... with our Jimny 😅😅
comforting to know it is not equipped with complicated electronics and a computer. A BIG PLUS
JUST proved you dont need a v8. Africa looks amazing. Suzi was designed for down to earth practical people like you. no pretence. You would be quite at home in Australia . Thanks for your Vids. Cheers.
I just want to go back there... What surprised me is how good your fuel consumption was. We used an entire tank going there. I had an additional 80L of fuel, and we made it back to Nossob with I think quarter tank to spare. But I think we where there a little bit longer than you where..
I see a amarok doing camping/off roading/landscaping I click .
Thanks for the lovely videos, we busy planning our trip for next year😊 Great to see fellow Capetonian youtubers!
thanks so much. Hope the planning is going well 😊
Just found the channel as we want to start camping. Getting us excited for beginning our adventures. Anyone know what gear they use to film as want to capture our journey to show ours kids as they get older.
Glad you found us! We wish you the best as you set out on your adventures. Gear wise it's really lo-fi we promise. We both shoot on our iPhones, we have an entry level Nikon (D340) and lenses (25-85mm & 75-300mm) that came with the starter kit, and one old go pro. We shoot on a tripod or a bean bag when we can and we edit in Premiere Pro.
Top tip plastic bag can work if you dont have thread tape
Super clever. Will keep that in notebook
gr8 video! thanx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
kewl! thanx for sharing
How good is Jimny off-road. Thank you
It's good. Really good. simple machine. No driver aids or diff-lock. The new model (Gen 4) has an electronic diff-lock of sorts "all grip"
Yet another epic video! Thank you for sharing! On the top of my bucketlist!
Thank you so much! Bucket list stuff for sure :)
The Jimny fighting through the dunes is the best part🙌 Thanks for sharing once again
Thank you! We had a lot of fun on those dunes 😅
Little more Fomo to end my weekend. Thanks guys 👌🤙
sorry about that 😂
Can,t believe I haven’t spotted you around the southern subs yet. Will be looking carefully
We'l keep a lookout for you too!
Nicely Done🤙. Love the chill music. Successfully planted the FOMO seed within me. What time of year did you guys go?
@@troopyinafrica thank you! We were there at the end of April :)
Jho - lots of driving!
@@jordanbarber6486 good thing Jimnothy’s great at it! 😅
Hi, love the videos. I have a Jimny as well, and was wondering where you got the dash cover and cup holders for the dash. Thank you
😂😂you kept us waiting, but the wait was worth it 🎉
so glad you stayed!
Kept us waiting for a while but we’re grateful either way, you’re forgiven😄. Great video🤌🏽
@@pjobe Thank you so much! Sorry for keeping you waiting 😅. Part 3 is not far behind!
Wat n puik episode bos Kamp op sy beste👊
Thanks so much ❤️
Thank you for bringing us to your adventure. What a wholesome video. Keep them coming, God Bless🙏💥
Thank you! ❤️
Good video, just show a little bet lesser human like direct phase 😊 I believe it's a lot of work to compile these videos. Thank you for the information.
Where did you get all that fun stuff for the Jimny
Mostly from Africansky Adventures 😊
I have that very car
That otter sighting was awesome!
@@CooCooCachootje we were so lucky!
I have been really struggling to make a decision between the Gen3 Jimny and The Gen 4. I love the Gen 3 and can afford the Gen 3. This video gave me clarity that the Gen 3 is still capable and relevant. Thank you for this...All love from Gauteng.
@@vusim3573 we love our gen3 so much.
Looks like loads of fun. We only managed to do a day drip in a Grand Vitara a few years back. Great memories
They are magnificent creatures love them. Bless the people caring for them and keeping poachers away😊😊😊😊❤❤
hi. enjoy your trip. We have the same setup on our roof, but we placed the tent in the middle to spread the weight between the 4 mounts on the roof. Now I got myself a double Jerry Can setup. I would like to add this to my roofrack, like yours, but are worried about moving our tent towards one side. Do you see any problems with putting more weight to 2 of the roof mounts? my wife and I together about 160kg. Cheers
Hello! It’s a bit of squeeze but you need to set the tent forwards. Andrew sleeps towards the rear as he is heavier. Dm us and we can send some close up pics of the setup.
Great memories!
The use of spotlights should be banned for obvious reasons.
Dunes on that road not too hectic (don't stress too much). Isuzu 3l crossed those dunes at 15-25km/h fully loaded in the middle of the day (ruts make it tricky to go fast). Traction controll off and low tyre pressure.
Great video guys. I would love to get the info of John Leyden who built your modular system.
I agree, who built your box for you?
please dm us!
Wat n puik episode content out of this world
Really really grateful for the message. Glad you enjoyed 😊
I love being able to spot this Jimny around CT every so often and to see how you go from completely packed full of gear to an empty rig with nothing on the roof. Jimnothy is such a great realistic example of what my dream vehicle + set-up looks like. Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks so much for the message. Its great to know that we have inspired you, and hopefully you get to build your dream rig!
Nice vid. Punda looking very run down. Was there last year. Where does all the money go when you let the place to to ruin like this camp.
Thanks! Much appreciated. We really fell in love with that place. Honestly we think they do the most with the budgets they get, so hopefully some upgrades are on the cards soon, as it seems SANParks are gradually making their way up north, upgrading infrastructure.
This was such a great event where most of us got to meet people we have been talking with for many years over social media. Was great meeting you guys at the event as well. Glad to see you held this video back for so long. Now we can think of all the memory's of that weekend.. Hopefully we will see another one happening in the years to come..
We couldn't agree more! So awesome meeting you guys too. We only held it back, as we re-edited about 5 times 😂 Was tricky to get it right, but happy thats out now. Appreciate you taking the time out to write to us. Hopefully it will be The Gathering 2025
So great being a part of a group. And nothing better than enjoying a convoy with them. Subscribed for next year…who knows I might have to get myself one 😜
Yeah, its a great way to adventure...also Welcome aboard! 🤣
It was such a wholesome weekend and my fingers are crossed for another, soon I hope. 🙌🏼
We hope so too! What a great idea :)
👏👏
Awsome guys!!!! Im a south african para trooper, i worked in stsyed out in the field in kruger for 12 months...and i swear i saw you guys filming this video

Awsome guys🎉🎉🎉
Thanks you 😊
You were very fortunate to get that site. Just left yesterday camped on the site to your right. 4 Hyenas visited
We were very lucky! Love that place <3

When are you doing Baviankloof?
Not sure yet! We'd like to soon, but we just haven't been able to yet
You taking me back during my guiding days. I came across lots of scorpions in that campsite
