God is so faithful. To everyone judging her, it’s only because you guys haven’t experienced what it is that she actually went through and how the situations were presented to her. We can stand in faith and believe that God is doing a mighty and even accelerated work in our lives, especially when we’re living for Christ and serving Him with clean hands and a pure heart. I relate because I was fooled too. Irrespective of it all, God is and will continue to be in control. I’m the ex wife that she referred to. The Lord allowed for her to pop up on my phone as a Facebook friend suggestion. I wondered who she was and remembered that the woman that my ex had been engaged to was named Kristin. I asked my son if the person in the notification was her and then after him confirming her identity, I reached out. I was curious to know why he left the relationship because we had court coming up and I wanted to know if he had gotten violent with her or if any of his known negative characteristics were the cause. He made it seem like he just wasn’t feeling it, had a change of heart and was breaking off the engagement. I prayed about it prior to the friend suggestion ever coming through. I prayed for us to somehow be connected, and that fb notification was ultimately how I was connected to her. Prior to that, we weren’t friends and knew nothing about each other on a personal level at all. At that time was when I reached out. She sent me what she mentioned in this video. We spoke and I explained to her that I wasn’t surprised about anything that she had shared. This is his MO. He is severely mentally ill and was on meds and abruptly stopped taking them. It’s unfortunate that he did what he did to her, following all of the turmoil that he took me through, but all we can do is continue looking up to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He will continue to do a perfect work in us and in the end His name will be glorified through her and even my story. My heart truly goes out to this young lady. She has my full support and I really pray Gods best for her and her unborn. Her message is highly inspirational. I pray that it reaches and helps so many others. Great video! Keep up the good work!

It’s beyond sad how religion - a HUMAN thought not God - brainwashed ppl especially girls and women. The desperation that leads to unhealthy relationships is wild. So sad 😢. Break free of your social conditioning. God is real NOT religion - especially the religion of ppls captors and oppressors.

See the thing with these women is that they saw something in these men to give themselves too an to want to get married but they choice to live in these modern ideology that they gonna drop a slipper an a prince gonna pick it up an save them. No Cinderella was a kind heart, loving person an had feminine charm an yeah a prince seen those traits in her. But as you can see modern women whose choose to be arrogant thinking they deserve anything just because they are a women is basicly a mental lie they tell themselves. No body deserves anything! men or women. Looks means nothing because it fades, earning money mean nothing when u just waste it, having fancy thing means nothing when all u can do is stare at it. People need GOD an JESUS CHRIST guidance to be to learn what it means to love actually is.

You might want to read the stats on second marriages; there's an 85% fail rate (50-60% for first marriages) and they typically last about half as long since people are unwilling to stick around when things start to fail. Men typically remarry much faster than women, and most people, men and women alike, really don't do the hard work to figure out what failed in the first marriage and how did they contribute to that. So if a marriage makes it, it MiGHT be happier, but most will not make it. Ex-Marriage Counselor for 16 years.

Concerts?! Dinner?! Those are reserved for the dating EXCLUSIVELY phase. Bowling and movies are fine, but NOT for a first date. Those are second or third date activities. Movie prevents you from talking and getting to know each other in person.

If you are a believer, there should be NO second marriage UNLESS the marriage ended due to sexual immorality. That said, studies say 2nd marriages are easier because of the removed responsibility and mistakes made with finances and child rearing. But again BELIEVERS 2nd marriages are for the world.

I grew up in America Generation X and haven't a clue of what you're talking about. Most Generation X are Principals, lawyers, teachers, doctors, own their own business, the movers and the shakers, (in black communities) and yes we have activist, preachers, comedians, sportsman like basketball players, etc. etc. The group you're describing sounds like the BABY BOOMERS that's all I heard the BABY BOOMERS say the group that Sheila Jackson Lee came from about blaming slavery and Jesse Jackson. So I have no idea what Generation you're talking about. Maybe you mean millennials b/c most Generation X died during the Guf War and other Wars in the 1990s. That's why our group is usually the most ignored group b/c there's very few of us so the Millenials and other groups took our place. But we are REALISTIC our group and know that we're very ambitious and if we don't get any further then like a BA or MASTERS OR PH.D etc. usually it was due to circumstances occurring in life beyond our control but that wasn't due to just racism it could be anything. Because life is just life. You're the only one I've heard say this about Generation X b/c most people don't have that view of us b/c they haven't seen that description in most of the group.

I'm from the Caribbean, so it may be that the gen X there behaved differently from the ones in America.

Nah. I’m a millennial with baby boomer parents. My sibling is on the older end of millennial. We are self sufficient, somewhat pessimistic, but realists overall because we had no other choice. Same with many of my peers. I don’t have any beef with Gen Xers. Didn’t know anyone labeled them as entitled (or some variation of it) until this video. I guess we don’t appreciate each other but pedestalize our own generation (to a degree) and people from era’s long before our own. Because I view a lot of baby boomers as entitled and a good bit of Gen Z to be insufferable.

  • @LFoster8026

Also your analysis of the statements made by your family member makes no sense because colorism is the result of slavery and whites treating the lighter skinned blacks better than the darker skinned blacks and unfortunately we internalized that. Your family member was stating a fact and doesn't mean he is not taking accountability for his own actions. Here in south Louisiana, especially in New Orleans, I have seen many lighter skinned blacks look down and treat darker skinned blacks like they less then them. I have seen myself being treated better because I am lightskinned. I don't see how stating a fact means he is not taking responsbility for his actions. Logically that makes no sense. We don't make excuses. We work hard! Growing up without the overload of information that is present now we had to work hard because things weren't at our fingertips like it is now.

As a member of Gen X I 100% disagree. I grew up dirt poor. Excelled in school despite coming from a situation that would break most. Got a college education and I am currently a working professional. And you know what! I didn't blame anyone for my situation despite my baby boomer parents being drug addicts who refused to get regular jobs! How many people from generation x do you know because my fellow gen x members are some of the most hard working individuals I know. Many of us raised ourselves while our baby boomer parents weren't home. We had to wake ourselves for school and when we got home no one was there and we had to feed ourselves. That is why we are called the latch key kids. We grew up without internet. We had to learn how to obtain information in an analog world. If anything, some of you millenials are some of the most entitled individuals I ever meet who expect the world to provide for you without you putting in the work to better yourself. And you know why that is? Because unfortunately your Gen X parents didn't want you to have to work so hard for everything like we did so they gave you everything but it crippled some of you and made yall lazy! My millenial nephew says he shouldn't have to pay bills and just live with someone else. Don't come for an entire generation when you don't know everything about us or know what we went through by having baby boomer parents.
