That's great news! I take a lot of the same things you do for my prostate cancer. Have you asked your doctor about leuprolide acetate? It knocked my PSA down to <0.10. It does make me feel tired and weak, sometimes, but I guess it's still better than meeting the Lord prematurely.

I am in my 27th year with prostate cancer. Rough the whole way since cancer diagnosis December 1998. I stayed alive for my two then 11 and 13 year old daughters. Wife (mistake #1) demanded divorce. I did a radical prostatechtomy surgery (mistake #2) 4/26/99 ($45,000 plus) and have regretted it ever since as one of the 2 biggest mistakes of my life. Urologists get rich from prostatechtomy surgery and lupron injections ($4,000 plus each time). I have said no to chemotherapy for over 26 years because my research is it kills the whole body and the doctors stop chemo just before you stop breathing and just hope you can recover a little but the chemo immediately lowers quality of life 99% (kills you and turns you into a walking dead person) from which nobody I know recovers. Doctors get rich ($15,000 plus per session) from chemo. Chemo is NO ! Surgery and lupron were bad choices and chemotherapy would be. I have tried many alternative treatments and have been using a herbalist in recent years and I'm still here breathing but destroyed by surgery and lupron.

I have been on Lupron for 4 years, it’s awful

Hormone therapy is brutal. I had one injection of Lupron not again. Extremely tired, mood swings, bone aches, depression.

Dont let the negative comments about god worry you. I have stage 3 prostate cancer. I also do NOT believe in God. However I do believe that everyone has the right to believe in whatever they want to without having to suffer derision and ridicule from others. If your belief helps you then that is a fantastic thing. Other people find different ways to deal with problems. I wish you luck for the future.

You need to STOP testosterone production. Instead of prostate removal i opted for chemical castration. Psa went from 158 and in 15 days 24, and it has dropped to 7 bac in the normal range.

I'm taking 1000mg of ABIRATERONE and my first PET SCAN since i started showed the cancer was going to sleep, yehaaa. I have also started to follow a diabetic diet, i found Dr. WILLIAM LI on UA-cam. This guy is amazing. Good luck, Christian Brother.

Is it safe for you to take ambien for sleep? It’ll surely knock you out. It’s very addictive though. Once you go past only 3 consecutive nights on it your stuck. Your brain will not let you fall to sleep naturally again is the bad side effect. Ive had this addiction for over 30 years now. Nowa days they say you shouldn’t stay on it over 2 weeks. But it can be an emergency remedy if you just have to get some sleep to keep sane. Just don’t do what I did. Emergency only.

We all made mistakes, the fact that you’re closer to God makes you an overall winner.

I was just diagnosed with that. What I really take as the core of your message, is to not give up on keeping a positive mindset, NO MATTER WHAT your side effects are. I’m not afraid of death, it’s the process that I think most dread. I’m like you brother, a believer in our Lord and Savior. Actually for people like us, there’s a huge silver lining in our departure because we’ll be with the lord and love ones we’ve lost in paradise and finally understand what’s all this thing called life is about. So we really don’t lose, we gain. Yes, of course it cause a lot of grief and pain for those we love and leave behind. But will see again when their time and journey is completed. And that’s what they will have to focus on no matter how long many years of a lifespan they have here. Remember, time is certainly different there, so more than likely it’ll seem quick from our perspective on that side.I had suspected something wasn’t right with me, and had taken a life insurance policy of a substantial amount for my wife and family. So at least, I’ll have that comfort if this is the last chapter of my book. Thanks so much brother, I hope to meet you one day when we’re both at a much happier place, literally in every regard. In the waiting room at the radiation treatment centre, I asked other patients who had prostate cancer thinking we were all about the same, but we were all as individual as a finger print. Please don’t always compare yourself to others, we all have our own doctor and he will be treating each patient to their specific diagnosis. Do the best you can follow your doctor’s advice and LIVE YOUR LIFE. Praying for you.

Hello friend. I was looking for video on how to install the rear cab mounts on my '54 F100 and I discovered you. It turns out we are in the same boat. I too have metastatic prostrate cancer. I was diagnosed in 2014 and immediately began radiation therapy, which at the time, knocked the cancer down. I was an auditor for a regional airline. But then Covid hit us in 2020, and the airline went out of business. So I was unemployed for two years and had no insurance. In late 2020 I went back to work as an Aircraft Inspector and finally went back to my doctor and ended up finding out my cancer had returned with a vengeance. Now I've been taking Lupron injections and got my PSA back down to < 0.10. But the injections made it impossible to do my job properly and I began making bad inspection decisions, so I had to resign. Fortunately I'm old enough now to be on Medicare, and can continue my injections. But with all the drugs and injections, I found out I could no longer continue my career. I resigned two months ago because I could not stand the thought of an airplane going down because I missed something. Finishing up my aviation career, with all of the accolades and awards I'd received over the years, and realizing I am no longer effective, is really depressing. Not to mention the effects of little sleep, fevers and cold sweats etc., caused by the meds, life ain't easy anymore. Anyway, I'm glad I found your channel and have added you to my prayer list. I too am no longer afraid of death. OTOH, I'm not ready to leave my wife. God bless you and keep you and bring you and yours love and happiness.

Right on. We Christian know the ending. Jesus will provide the medical support we can find. I have several friends with prostate cancer for decades, taking treatment and staying active playing golf etc. Eliminating sugar. You tube Dr. William Li. When I get done I think of what Jesus went through for us.

I hit the gym - Ilift 5 lb. Dumbells, walk, do sauna- some places have infrared sauna-followed by cold shower. Bless you, I am stage 4, holding steady at 5 years of lupron, xta ndi, etc.

4-20-24 was my 8 year anniversary since I was diagnosed. They gave me a year to live post surgery. I did not accept that conclusion. What you’ve done is exactly what you have to do. I can see without a doubt you look better and more confident and comfortable. I said to you before that this experience has made me a better person. Spike I have had metastatic prostate cancer for a year and Iam also on abiraterone, prednisolone and apixanpan. I can't afford it because my insurance doesn't cover anything. I had PC. You have surely done your research so I won’t say what’s good or bad. I’ll only say that I had my prostate removed (luckily it had not spread) and tried to save the nerves in my penis, but no luck. So non functioning penis. There are other ways to make love. The ladies love oral. I tried pills and injections to obtain an erection, but no luck. I eventually had penile implants and they work very well. It actually works better. My question is, instead of chemicals, does it make sense to have the testicles removed (orchiectomy)? It most likely would knock down the PSA, but if it’s spread, maybe testicle removal doesn’t make sense? However, perhaps you wouldn’t get so damn sick with the chemicals? I urger every man in the mid 40s and beyond to have a PSA. I only found out I had a high PSA while taken a test for something else. Good luck.
