stay positive Spike , i was diagnosed in march 2022 at 62 years old with stage 4 gleason 10 spread to the spine, pelvis and lymph nodes , they said there was no cure , I did the tri theraphy approach , which is chemotherapy and the two hormone therapies at the same time, after 6 months there was nothing left !! i did some radiation on the prostate and in march 23 i was declared in remission , PSMA pet scan clean , today I am still in remission , i am still on hormone theraph for another year but they say i should be cured. i know every case is different and i realise that you have a lot more metastasis probably than i had , my PSA has always been low, i started at 5.5 and now at 0.03 ,but this happens when you have a gleason score of 10 cos the cancer is not very differentiated . which can be misleading, I was told at the beginning that they could only manage it !! i changed encologist when i moved house and he said nope ! we are gonna get this , stay strong , do your research , know all that needs to be done , i am now on Zometa too to reinforce my bones, so the scan is important, i was lucky i never broke anything, so i did not suffer too much , i do have some side effects though from chemo and radiotherapy !! anyway good luck .
Wow what an inspiring testimony , They could only do a one time high volume radiation on me because I had so many mets, and most are high spine , my organs are in the way. so radiation is off the table. I am excited to get my bone density scan and start bone builder, They have held off with chemo at first they didnt think i would survive it and Because they said I had more then one type of cancer ( in my bowels) for some reason they wanted to do a wait and see. You have made me feel there is hope for a full life ahead
My husband and I are going through that same thing. He's getting his shots and he's just started the second ,oral medication. He is extremely tired and yes, all the things you said. Thank you for sharing your journey. Congratulations on your good news from the Doc!🎉
I understand you are both going through this terrible battle , as a team ,you both can still have a life . Stay strong and try to positive, GOD bless you both

The consultant said he couldn’t do anything for me and put me on firmagon injections straight away. So I changed my Lifestyle and have a Seafood diet cut out all meat and dairy have the same kind of herbs as you. I exercise go to the gym/swim 4 times a week just do light weights to help me with my muscle loss. I have been on apalutamide tablets 4 times a day since February last year. I take cold showers and sometimes do cold water therapy in the North Sea. My PSA is now 0.5 yes 0.5 I went to see my Oncologist last month and the words he used was your in REMISSION!! So still in the game? My herbs blackseed oil turmeric and black pepper cayenne pepper cider vinegar cinnamon ginger chia seeds pumpkin seeds blueberries flaxseeds walnuts and almonds dates prunes figs apricots dark chocolate for snacks. Drinks kombucha tomatoe juice Gunpowdergreen tea mixed with dandelion and burdock root and soursop leaves , beetroot juice and carrot juice.I use unsweetened soy milk. I do a lot of breathing exercises I recommend take a deep breath on you tube. Good luck Spike
Wow thats an amazing testimony ! Thanks for your list of herbs , I have just added dandelion and allspice , I am retaining fluid, I think from the prednisone . Can I ask how long it took to get your PSA down to under 2? I havent heard of the cold water therapy, I will look into that for sure. I didnt think remission was possible with metastatic .
Hi spike it took a year to get under 2. Remission was the words he used. Wim Hof on you tube tells you all about Cold water therapy and breathing techniques. We are in this together keep the great information coming. Good luck 🤞
Hello! Thanks for your posts and hope you are doing well! I was diagnosed myself about 6 weeks ago. This after I had pain in my back and neck since last summer. Thought it was just normal back pain and have been to the chiropractor 3 times since then. The last time I was there, he managed to break my neck, and that's when the whole cancer thing was discovered. I have metastases pretty much all over my back and ribs. But incredibly, I have no pain etc. anymore. It has gone away on its own over time. Quite strange. Even though I broke my neck, I have no pain! And my PSA was at 1400!! So now bone strengthening and chemotherapy await. Will start bone strengthening next week. Just felt compelled to write a little, and really hope all is going well for you! Btw I turn 50 this summer. Life takes strange paths sometimes! Ps I'm from Sweden, so excuse me if it's a little weird spelling etc :)
Praise the LORD no pain!, I feel for you, I understand the high volume metastatic , and they cant do radiation , so I understand you are going to do chemo. I am hoping to start bone builders soon, So sorry you have this at such a young age. Please let us know how you make out with the chemo , Is it the every 3 weeks type? And welcome from Sweden you english was fantastic! I am adding you to my pray list!
You are NOT ALONE in this. Stage 4 diagnosed eight years ago, still going strong. Make the gym a regular thing, work your butt off, eat right, find things to enjoy and enjoy life, it will help.
Good evening Spike. I'm here lol. I tried posting my comment a couple of times, but for some reason, it wouldn't stay posted. I'll take the blame and try it again. I am saddened to hear your story and sad to hear that you're going through this. You're in our thoughts, you're in our prayers, and you're not alone in this fight. Always remember that! I am a prostate cancer survivor since 2019. I had an extremely aggressive Gleason 8 that only took a few short weeks to develop and was given a few short months. There wasn't time to consider options. A few surgeries later, plus every possible complication, I'm still here, awaiting to see what's next. When you're immune compromised and your body rejects latex and silicone, it's definitely a challenge. And you're right, It's definitely a mental and physical challenge at the best of times. You got this! The minute you hear the word cancer, your life and that of your loved ones will never be the same. And only those of us battling this horrific disease knows what the body and mind is going through. For those going through cancer or any other crappy disease, make each and every moment count and dont let it control you, reshape you or redefine you. You do need to stay focused, fight the fight and hold your loved ones close to your heart. Life is worth fighting for, and so are they! Andy 🇨🇦
Andy, This comment was so heart felt, It needed to be posted for all of us going through ,This terrible battle. Thank you for your prayers , returned to you and your family. Your words are so powerful that staying positive makes so much difference and to stay strong even when you don't feel fighting, to just lay in bed as a few of my doctors told me, My oncologist , wasn't going to let me go without a battle , I praise the LORD that said, you have time! Thanks again for getting this posted for others to read. Your encouraging words are so important. Spike

Hi Spike. Fantastic report. I'm doing the whole food plant based diet, attempting to keep the beast at bay after recurring from prostatectomy, salvage and hormone therapy. would like to put off more hormone therapy as long as possible and if it means giving up meat, eggs, dairy and fats i'm all for it. Stay strong everyone!
i was to far gone for the prostatectomy, but I don't think I would want it, tough going whole food, I like my meat , but am down to chicken , with a little red meat from time to time. Proud of you keep up the positivity!
