As far as I know Havel was no traitor or anything. But also the "Havel" inside the tower is also not HAvel but one of his knights. Havel himself didnt need the ring to carry the armor and schield but could do it due to his own god like strenth. The man in the tower however gives you Havels Ring, which is a magic ring all knights of havel had (Knights of havel started as just knights following havel inspired by his god like strength and so it became like his own little havel army or something) After Gwyns linking of the forst flame however Havel (the real one) vanished alongside all the other dietys of arnor londo (Close people to gwyn or his family and stuff) Havel vanished without his weapon and armor however since we find it close to the main hall of Anor Londo in a secred Basement room. About the "Havel" in the tower, He just hollowed and got caged by his friend since he was undead so would come back if killed and that would be too dangerous (Well but ingame he obviously doesnt respawn tho) Got this about it from the wicki (since I wanted to make sure not to talk bullshit) "One of his [Havels] knights that was still in Lordran turned into a Hollow and was locked away by a dear friend inside a stone cell in the basement of the watchtower of the Undead Burg"

I don’t know if you realize this but you can freely change prepared spells as a cleric when out of combat. So richter can swap over to Ceremony at any time and it’s not locked in

Heya RedFox, I have some potential bad news for ya about killing Oswald on this run, based on some obscure lore in the Dark Souls: Design Works artbook. I learned about this secondhand myself, from one of the wikis, as I don't own a copy of the book personally - so understand that I could also be wrong too if I've been mislead. It's an official book, though - credited to FromSoftware directly and including interview references. There's a reasonable chance that it's contents could and should be considered canon. Still, this tidbit I'm talking about isn't really supported directly in-game alone (other than his rapier claiming he is inhuman), so take it with some salt: Supposedly, Oswald was explicitly a former Black Knight. He very possibly witnessed Gwyn linking the Flame directly. He probably knows Frampt and Kaathe personally, and very likely has met Gwyndolin, considering the ties between Velka and the Darkmoon Blades. With his current status as a Pardoner of Velka, he's even allowed to openly carry an occult anti-god weapon with impunity - that rapier is implied to be a badge of office, instead of a personal holdout. I'm fairly certain that, despite uncertainty on whether he's a Black Knight deserter or just retired (or if he was even a Black Knight at all), Oswald is fully sanctioned (reluctant or not) by Anor Londo's former and current higher-ups due to his role as Pardoner. He's working with Gwyndolin, after all. Me personally, I'm fairly certain Oswald is above Smough's paygrade in allowed targets. It'd quite possibly reflect very badly on Gwyn and Anor Londo, since Smough is effectively representing both.

About a decade ago, two UA-camrs/Twitch streamers did a NG+ co-op playthrough as Smough and Ornstein on the PTDE via PC. Rurikhan played as Smough, while MFPallytime played as Ornstein. It was goofy. There were some hilarious hijinks in their playlists.

When I tried Iron Golem cosplays myself, I would always kill Smough first. I've always been confused about why the community believes Super Smough is easier - I've always found him harder because of the range (and damage) on his lightning slam. It's difficult to explain instead of demonstrate, but most of Super Ornstein's can be easily dodged by just staying between his feet. There are some exceptions to that dodge rule, such as with Super Ornstein's slam (which again, is smaller than S. Smough's slam) or the backstep grab (which can be dodged by rolling forward at the right time). All the same, however, it's fairly simple once one realizes that all of his attacks just revolve around paying attention to his feet and the tip of his spear.

I've done an Iron Golem cosplay a few times myself, with some artistic liberties. I don't go as far as to say I can't directly fight enemies in certain areas, or that I cannot join covenants. Like, to be fair, I would think that the Iron Golem could definitely be _in_ a Covenant, but that you absolutely do have a point about it lacking the sentience to properly _join_ a Covenant. Still, if the Iron Golem could join a covenant, I would guess it to be a "Princess Guard" or "Darkmoon Blade" since it directly serves Anor Londo - although I can say from experience that it is more fun to cosplay an Iron Golem in the Forest Hunters or Gravelord Servant covenant, though. On another note, for a more lax ruleset, one could roleplay as if "an" Iron Golem was 'programmed' to attempt fulfilling the Undead Prophecy. Like a walking soul vessel, to attempt buying more time for a proper Chosen Undead. Thus, it would be willing to fight already hostile denizens of Anor Londo as a measure of testing its capabilities - but it's still ultimately allied with Anor Londo, and thus wouldn't attack nonhostiles. It may even still exterminate other would-be Chosen Undead, under the logic that the targeted Undead isn't worthy if they were successfully defeated. Another stretch of the cosplay, is that I personally like getting Iron Flesh and/or Power Within as an option too. My headcanon is that the Iron Golem is using its soul/core to manifest defense (because the core was crafted from an Everlasting Dragon's bone) or offense (as if the core is being clocked into overdrive at the cost of structural integrity). That's basically the only addition I sometimes make. I once had an overloaded Iron Golem luring invaders in Undead Parish (used the gate skip glitch) at a low level. That was kinda fun - really tanky, but lack of mobility gives them a fair chance. Although, when I tried out gravelording too, I found that I just had to forgo being overloaded, because taking on two Black Knight Halberds at a time ain't ending well if ya can't dodge or block.

Fun fact: if you betray Reed, Alex kills Hansen instead of being murdered by Hansen when betraying Songbird, so you never have to fight Hansen in that ending and Alex can actually retire. After a while, she'll send a post card to V's apartment, thanking V for helping her.

You'd mentioned there only being 2 weapons that return when thrown, but there's also Nyrulna, the legendary trident that returns when thrown. That aside...I can agree with siding with a good vampire, but it's really hard to imagine Simon letting a vampire drink his blood. Plus, don't Belmont's have like...holy blood?

You got one thing wrong: Johnny won't just get to live for 6 months, he'll be able to live much longer than that, at least in theory. Alt told us that the reason why V only has 6 months is because her body has already been altered in order to fit Johnny's DNA. Therefore, her body sees V as an intruder and tries to excise her from its system, subsequently killing her. Since the relic's alteration of V's body had already progressed quite far, she only has around 6 months before she'll die. Johnny, on the other hand, can live longer than that since his DNA fits the body. Thus it won't reject him and he won't die after 6 months.

The only thing I DONT like about Claire, she manipulated V into joining the race. What I do like, you open her eyes to moving on. It'd be nice if you could hang out with your friends in Cyberpunk besides just seeing her in the Afterlife
