You don't look very old to me. You can learn new things. I'm doing new IT stuff and I'm 61 years old. My Dad was studying PC and windows stuff when he retired. He got new skills even in the late 60's. Your past should not hurt your future.

Thanks for sharing your story. I have worked in science and engineering most of my life, and it's been mostly good, but I don't think I would have been a radically different person if I had worked as a joiner. My job gives me bread on the table, and I pursue my greatest interests on my spare time. As an science-nut I've been focused on things rather than people, and I've had to learn the latter since I got kids. It's not too late for you to dive into science in mid life. It's a very rewarding interest.

Another one to change for myself in 2025

I post nothing on social media. Mostly because I don’t do anything that’s worth sharing with everybody and nobody would be interested. I don’t think I’m anything special or that going “out out” is anything special. Any photos taken when I’m “out out” are for myself because it doesn’t mean anything to anybody else but me. Too many people love to boast but they really have nothing much to boast about 😂

Great one. This is one of the changes I’m making this year. There’s no give and take with a lot of people. They just want to take whatever they want. Repeatedly. Has to stop.
