Bombmoto B1 72v Battery and Controller Install
Welcome back to the channel! Today I unbox something very special. Electro and Company allowed me to run the new NEVER before seen TruMoto Lil Bit Controller. This video will give you an idea of what it took to put it all together. The controller is pretty straight forward to install but will need a hall sensor adapter. The extra wire on the controller that is white might be for the temp sensor which isn’t needed with the app allowing you to see that. This is a long video so take a seat and enjoy! Thanks for watching, God Bless , and Power On!

2023 Honda Grom Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Install
Bought mine this month with 1 mile on it. Thanks for the video. Very helpful 👍🏻
Thanks! Viewers like you are why I filmed it. Enjoy your new Grom!
Since when does ripping mean driving like a baby
Yeah that day I filmed solo with my gimbal. But the auto tracking would lose me the second I would ride. Unless I rode a certain speed it would follow me, it was frustrating. You planning on getting an ETM5000?
also will i have to do the wire thing you did or does the key volt meter that comes with the little bit alreaedy have the same connecters?
You will have to make an adapter only so everything is plug and play for it yes.
@@mintmotos3650 how hard was that for you im 14 do you think i will be able to do it?
@@sh4baNice! Yeah absolutely 👍🏾 it seems really complicated but it’s not super crazy. I think I still have the links in my description on what I ordered to make sure it all connects smooth. I let a friend borrow my B1 at the moment but if you get stuck or have questions let me know
@@mintmotos3650 alright thanks!
did u buy a battery lead option im very new and just got my bomb moto i just want to make sure i can put it together right away
I don’t buy the battery lead option only because I had some leads from my ETM 5000 that I was planning on using. I would get the leads so you don’t have to worry about getting one.
I'm mind blown. I owned a 2015 honda grom and it had an oil spinner and a screen to clean out. So glad they fixed that. Thats so much easier
Unfortunately this also has a screen to clean out but I didn’t do it 🤦♂️ I plan on doing it for the first time soon and I’ll record it also. So far two oil changes and I think by the 3rd I’ll do it. But yeah these bikes are approachable!
Yo how much do you weigh and how tall are you im 215 5’9 and wondering if it will be comfortable and still ride fast for a big fella
I’m 5’10 and 170lbs, tbh you would be more comfortable on either a Bombmoto B1 or B2 or even a Burromax tt1600r but if you are sold on the styling of this you may want a better seat.
Sheeeesh im gonna cop one once i got the money how much was those wheels i plan to ride more on the street also
And where do you get those supermoto like street wheels at?
@@RICE_KILLER15The wheels I picked up at Electro and Company website. The ran me $250 and they mounted with zero issues.
are there any lights?
No lights on this bike. I would attach a bike light if I rode it at night.
@@mintmotos3650 got it, thanks
@ is it street legal?
Unfortunately it isn’t, but you most likely wouldn’t feel safe on the road with this small of a bike.
@@mintmotos3650 are there any other bikes similar to this that are? Im not too big, so a smaller bike would feel more comfortable.
Hey man I got a question did you need to add any spacers or washers
I don’t recall needing them no. It should install with the same washers and spacers from the dirt tires. I remember have my dirt tires on the side and whenever I swapped them I never had to scramble for them haha.
Hahahaha love the bike I definitely will get a pair of these wheels
Is there a way to make the range longer without a new battery
On these exact bikes no but if you have a controller you can tune like lil bit, flipsky, TruMoto, or even Kelly then yes
What happened...
Nothing yet, this year my living situation had to change so space is limited but hopefully soon I’ll get back into my bikes especially this.
When i asken mom she said "yes but where is the money? Right we dont got it""
what wheels and tires are those
They are Ebox 12in super motos
Did you have any problems when putting them on
@@zacherybrutzkiy2662Not really, the only thing that came a little off was the decals on the front fork guards. They didn’t seem to line up perfect but I made done adjustments and they are covered.
Good job man!
Appreciate that man 👊🏾
The mighty mini can you use in a 72v 3000w stealth Bomber ebike I have a m95 small frame and I'm struggling to get a batterie to fit ,any suggestions much appreciated 👍
I think the major challenge you would have is mounting the battery. You would need to fabricate some way of securely mounting the might mini for either frame.
@mintmotos3650 thanks 👍
Hopefully you find a way, it would be a huge saver on weight with that battery.
@mintmotos3650 it would 👍 I will have to get one made for my frame.
what size are they
Is it the wheels? They are 10in front and back and the dirt tires were 12in the front 10in rear
Looks too easy to steal.
Anytime you can do your own maintenance is a win man, just try and find the right UA-cam video then your good. Actually just bought a grom today so can’t wait to rip
Agreed, UA-cam makes most jobs with your bike or car more approachable. Ride safe out there and enjoy your Grom!
@@mintmotos3650thank you! Love your content, definitely have my sub. Keep up the great work!
So i wunt the 45 mph etm not mototec is that possible
If you really want an ETM you might want to look at an ETM V2 i linked it below or if you want to check out my other video on Bombmoto B1 and what you would like to build. electroandcompany.com/products/etm
Thanks
Does anyone know how fast the e?T?M forty eight fault bike is
I would imagine somewhere between 20-28mph with the right conditions and rider. Someone else might be able to chime in on their experience.
@@mintmotos3650 how do i 45 mph one
Get
@@lisa143justinif already have a 48v motoec of this chassis you can start by getting an upgraded controller and going 72v. See if you can hit 40-45mph then start dialing in a tune or messing with the gearing.
How are these holding up? Saw some reviews that said the stitching was coming apart
They are still in great condition but! I only use them when I’m running errands. I generally ride as minimal as possible.
I love the groms I also have one so I had to sub
GROM...TOGETHER...STRONG! 😅Thanks for the sub man! 👊🏽
No problem I had because it's another grommer
What size the tires
These were 10 inches
Can I please have one of your mini motos I really like you videos
Bro can I please have it I’ve always wanted a dirtbike
Bro can I have that Electric super Moto
Thanks! I seriously appreciate your support 👊🏾
I’m subscribed 🎉
What motor are you using for this I’m looking forward to getting one
@@benszeup This is the stock b1 motor
72v batter on 60v motor won't that frie the motor
How tall are you
I am 5’10
is it an on or off switch or key?
On off switch, or as some would say never leave it alone in the open switch 😅
@@mintmotos3650 ok lol 😆 thanks
Anyone know why the bike says 46v upgradable to 72 v do i have to buy the 72v does it cost more
I did my best to explain on your previous comment on another video. But short version. They don’t make them in all the ways that they used to anymore and all there is now is the ETM mini’s.
Anyone know why the bike says 46v upgradable to 72 v do i have to buy the 72v does it cost more
At the time when I bought this Electro and Company made a 72v ETM 5000 AND ETM3000 in both a regular size and mini size. The 5000 variant usually meant 72v and 5000kw while the 48v were 3000 variants. Now Electro and Company sell an ETM V2 which is the successor to the 72v ETM5000 seen in this video. They come out the box with several chassis upgrades and a 60v battery instead. Electro and company is moving away from these designs I figure but still have some in stock and they are all mini ETM’s and they allow you to chose the battery as the upgrade. Hope this all makes sense.
Why on earth would you use an adapter xt60 to xt90 ??? Wouldnt youbjust rewire it????or am i missing something
Good question,at the time it was faster for me to just use an adapter. I had packs of them around.
That’s a moto tech
Kind of. It’s Bombmoto B1. Someone designed the chassis and other companies can make slight adjustments to it making it theirs. Mototec, Venom, Electro and Company and more will do that.
And problems with the motor getting too hot? Can you go on long rides without heating issues? Thanks for your time
Yo bro big question man what tires are you going with cuz I wanna buy a b1 and I want to give it super moto tires but I can’t find them
The set I grabbed were the 12in kit for the Ebox bike I’ll link it here. eboxelectric.com/super-moto-wheels-ebox-electric-pit-bikes.html Right now they are out of stock but those are the ones I got. The only thing is the thread on the rear is backwards but everything bolts right up
@@mintmotos3650 thanks man appreciate it but should I grab the 10in or go with the 12in as you. I’m new to this so I don’t know much.
Where did you get the super moto wheels I’m trying to save up to buy one
Nice! For some reason I thought this one had a screen instead of a filter. Now I need a second filter! I did the first oil change on my Honda Monkey. Easy peasy.
That’s awesome! Yeah I encourage everyone to do it. I will be doing an oil change again soon and may make a slight updated video on it. Thanks for watching!
Im thinking about getting one, have u had any problems?
Awesome! No I think you will enjoy it. I have had no problems with it and have let a good friend borrow and enjoy it for the moment.
@@mintmotos3650 Ok thanks
howd you connect the charging port 🤔
I’m sorry but do you mean when I connect it to the controller or put the charge port on the bike frame
@@mintmotos3650charge port on the bike frame
@@min3648there is a threaded ring that comes with the charger. I slip it on the bike and use my hand or a wrench to tighten it. Long story short it should come with a locking ring
@@mintmotos3650 no im talking about the connector from the charge port to the battery where the 2 pin would be . did u just splice them 2 🤔
@@min3648Ah okay yes I used a different charge port from my ETM 5000 that I had the connector is already a xt30 or xt60 I believe. What I would suggest if you don’t want to cut anything up is to make an adapter the has the two pin white plug side and then you can make/buy a two pin white plug to xt30 or xt60
I’m trying to save up for one and rn have a 40 dollars but I don’t have a job or smth but my mom prob gonna help and prob gonna do some newspaper delivery job or smth
Sometimes that just what you gotta do. It will mean more to you when you get them
Never had anyone change my oil in my life I always have done it my self
That no lie is something to be proud of 😎 too many people just never try.
hey have you experienced any motor overheating issues? i run mine on 70a on the little bit controller and it gets extremely hot to the touch after about 45 min of riding
I have not noticed any crazy temps. I do notice it gets really hot if I’m riding in the peak heat of the day however. What settings are you running on your controller?
@@mintmotos3650 i’m running 70a and 200a phase and 6a regen
@@mintmotos3650 does your performance decrease when it gets hot?
@@kamronilyosov9752Good question, I think the performance does go down with the heat. But so does the voltage so it makes it tough to say which is affecting it more😅 the good thing is the controller does have some safety features built in. Question is your battery box stuffed or does it allow air to flow to the motor?
@@mintmotos3650 my battery box is pretty full because of the battery and controller so it doesn’t get much airflow to the motor
where did u get the graphics kit ?
I got them from Senge Graphics. Just send them an email and let them know I sent you and they will take care of you. They know the dimensions and everything.
Update ?
Unfortunately there is no update on it, but I still have the bike. Hopefully once I move I’ll be able to start funding the build.
Could u ship it to Australia from America?
Electro and Company would be the ones you would want to reach out to about that. I don’t know for sure if they do international shipping.
I may get the rolling chassis and motor what battery should I get
Grab the 72v battery they sell. It’s the best bang for your buck. Less than a grand and it’s 72v 30ah. I don’t know the type of cells they use but it’s a great price and it fits.
hey where did you get your graphics?
I got them from Senge Graphics, I worked with them already on the adaptation for the B1. Send an email to Austin at support@sengegraphics.com and let him know what you want .
How fast does it go
It got me to 45mph stock gearing. And I was around 165lbs at the time.
Damn and it’s the new one for 2K
