Replacing Outer Tie Rod End on 2006 Honda Odyssey Touring/EXL (same idea for all models)

Because parts are new and from different manufacturer, you may need to adjust alignment immediately, even if you left the nut where it was It's the same process for all models but the tie rod end part number changes for non Touring/EXL models. @tranxvillanueva1092 I think you mean exhaust manifold, but yes, if you remove a catalytic before an oxygen sensor, you will get a check engine light. You're always able to buy the adapter that goes on the 02 bung and gives you a little more length for the O2 sensor therefore tricking the computer.

      @@luiselmilusos7625 I understand. I can't run a tall BOV because my turbo faces the fender (it's not a PT Cruiser but uses the same flange setup). I either need to run a spacer or I need to run the shortest BOV available (not so easy to find now days). Since the spacer is already on its way, I may tap the ports and then run hex key screws to block off some of the air to make the sound less pronounced. This might be my best option, but I won't know until I do the experiment.

    Although it was a very informative video. I got just a few things to comment on. First is that you should never use wire nuts for automotive applications. I would also avoid cutting and splicing wires. You can make the process easier by using wire tap connectors. Last, invest in a pair of wire strippers.

    I know the video is old but I really liked how you explain everything. It's srtaight forward and easy to follow. I'm a fan now! I replaced my whole turbo with a BWS (Big Wheel Stocker) from AGP my original turbo was on its way out. So with the BWS it's supposed to add up to 300hp at the wheels at 20lbs of boost Of course you would have to get it tuned properly to make that. I would never run 20lbs of boost. The GTs engines just would not be able to do that. At the most I'd say it could handle14-15 pounds at max without hurting it. I also put in a Mopar Stage 1 ECU after I did that. So after it learned how I drove ect It made a big difference. I subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work!

      @@muzicmaxg9971 hi. Glad I could help. Make sure you put the spacer back in, I forgot to mention it but did put it in the comments. GT 5 speed can easily do 350+ hp. GT auto seems to like 300hp or less and came with 14lbs boost stock. I had Mario with MI Tuning put it about 18lbs with my bolt ons and stock turbo. As with any tune, substantial increased hp may need upgraded injectors, fuel pump and map sensor. I know you're having fun with that BWS. I blew my valves running on cheap gas from a no name gas station. I still have the engine and was just taking about using it on my '67 volvo 122s as rear wheel drive. My car only weighs 2,200 lbs so it would move nicely. Still deciding.

    Does this fix gas coming back out.. while filling up the tank?.. anyone know?

      Hi Gennaro. This video is unrelated to your gas question. Gas coming back up means it's full. Usually the pump stops filling when it's full, unless it's not sitting properly in the filler neck.

    So is there only 1 converter on a Kia Sportage V 6 model ?

    • @luiselmilusos7625
      @luiselmilusos7625 Рік тому

      Hi Michael. I'm not familiar with the Sportage, but I'm guessing there's 2 of them because it's 6 cylinders (1 on each side), and there may be a third one further down. You'll be able to see them.

    Mine gets water in there and makes the bulbs go out. Could it be a bad socket now from the water or does the cover need to be replaced?

    • @luiselmilusos7625
      @luiselmilusos7625 Рік тому

      Hi. It's hard to say. Is the housing cracked? Is it not hiding in correctly due to age? This design is pretty stupid with that clip and 1 screw. If you see a crack that's allowing water to get in, you can use gasket maker to close it up but if it's on the outside, it won't look good so replacing the light assembly would be best.

    is there a small hose that attaches to the little nipple on the airbox? If so, where does that line go to on the engine?

      Hi. It should go to the valve next to the camshaft sensor.

    whenever I see those interior end cap connectors on a car I know to avoid it. should get the proper crimp connectors to do automotive.

      Crimp connectors can come loose too. I always use electrical tape and on the very rare occasions that I've used a wire nut, I've also taped over it to make sure it stays on.
