One thing I'll say, is that you'll soon get to know more people from the Philippines, in the local area, than you ever imagined. 😆 My "ex" is originally from the Philippines, I met her when I was invited over from Hong Kong, to work in the USA on a series of power generation projects. I was originally based in Orlando, then moved to Lakeland and headed West to Sarasota. Not been in the USA for 9 years now, after being denied entry, back in 2016, at Detroit Airport when coming over on vacation (I'm British/Scottish). I previously spent 6 years living and working in Hong Kong, which was an eye opener, on the spectrum of, "challenges", found in relationships between Western Men and Eastern Asian women! 🤣

I would NEVER EVER consider buying a chinese EV even if it was FREE, EVER, you can''t fix the damm things (by law) even if you could you can't get parts, you are not going to get support for these things from the companies. NO, gas cars are NOT more complicated but nice Lie, I agree with you though most don't want to learn and work on cars even if the pay was 300 dollars an hour. All my cars are at least 20 years old. No big brother tracking every thing I do No Govt Speed limiter, no beeps bing and bongs for nothing. These things are a huge national security risk reporting all my activites to the Govt and Insurance CO. Good luck if it does not charge, Mexico like America is not really buying them as they are just too expensive. If EV's are so simple then why aren't they much cheaper !

I'd rather drive that than the ev pickups they are making that's actually set up for work. 130 miles range would be fine for most contractors now if it's a full ton frame and has 4x4 were really talking something useful especially for farmers.

The problem is, the whole EV thing is a bad joke. Most people are going to charge the thing via their home electric, which is almost always produced by diesel generators, which do not have to comply with the same regulations as a diesel vehicle and usually is far less efficient. So having an EV is challenging NOTHING!

How many years does it take to pay off a $30-40k solar system? How long are they good for before the panels need to be replaced? You can’t just ignore those two costs to save a $100 bucks a month on gas dude.

Hey...interesying...but you will save tire wear by putting into eco rather than sport! 😂😂😂 Seriuosly though, Ioniq5 is one of the best EV's on the market IMHO, our 2022 I5 AWD Ultimate trim was an awesome vehicle. 78,000 km in 18 months and 0 problems, none. Unfortunately we were involved in an 18 car pile in a white out snow storm and got hit from behind and driven into a vehicle ahead. Vehicle written off by insurance company, but we were still able to drive 400km home with. One of the best vehicles we have owned in my 50+ years of driving. Good news is we are picking up a new, identical 2024 Ioniq5 today to replace our 22...not interested in any other vehicle, absolutely love the drive. This will be our 4th EV, had a Kona EV before the 22 Ioniq and it was an absolutely trouble free car as well...our 2017 Leaf is still going strong with 122,000 km on it as our grocery getter! On Paper they look good but check out the home companies financials. Most Chinese all BEV brands lose mass money; in fact most are billions in debt with no chance of paying creditors; they are losing typically $20,000 USD per car. Telsa is the only 100% BEV brand that makes a profit or ever has. Originally CCP subsidies gave rise to 500 startups of which only 95 are still in business; of those only Established makers like BYD w non BEV product lines even make $1000 per car; and their BEVs are all loss leaders - even with all the subsidies. Do you want a Fisker, Cano, or other defunct brand? If no support, no parts, doesn't worry you - then buying Chinese may be fine for you.

Yes I would love to get a Chinese EV they are now the inovater they are leaving North America behind, and for the guy that thinks EV's need subsidies think again it is the future and will leave you behind.

Nobody makes money selling EVs, it's all about who can throw the most subsidy at them. That was always going to be the CCP. Let them have the whole EV market as long as they can afford to feed that albatross, let them pay for the chargers too. Let people in the free world build and drive the cars they actually want to.

Filipinas usually don't care about past wives unless you are still in contact with them or with new ones.

Wonderful testimony. God put her in your life for a reason. My son wants to come over to the PH and meet a real Christian, not one from the Christian Filipina website. We do not believe he can meet one on there. Does she have any suggestions? My other son married a Filipinapea wife from the U.S., and they are both committed Christians. The appropriate word i think is being respectful and kind towards other people. In the Philippines, we address people NANAY(mom), TATAY(father or dad) LOLA, LOLO(grandma, grandpa) ATE(elder girl sibling), KUYA(elder boy sibling) even if they are not related to us. We also use po or opo to show respect to our parents, older relatives and to others. Sometimes or most of the times, Filipinos tend to have this inferiority complex attitude when they meet foreigners or people who are more educated, or meet rich people. We are humbled in the sense that we Filipinos, majority of us do not show some kind of entitlement attitude towards other people because they belong to upper class kind of people in our society but for some of us they do look down on others. Filipinos value family or community ties kind of interaction. We love to laugh, have some fun, talk to other people and that's why we are a HAPPY PEOPLE. We do not confront proud, toxic people in order to maintain the peace, we just avoid or stay away from them.

Issue is its not the best at anything. Not the best price, not the best range, not the best software, not the best charging experience, not the best shopping experience, not even the best styling.

Humble is a character and of being wise. You are humble not because you have nothing but you know that you know that you know. Trump is the definition of being humble because He tried to stop the "bragging culture" where the result is hurting yourself. You can sense you have a good heart when you are humble.
