Sorry to get this too late to help but i will do a short video to help diy ppl in the future.

With lumber you have to know what is the crown and how it is cupping, to get it as straight and keep it as square as possible. Ask a framer what that is to help you in the future. I could show you what that is. If you don't do that it will bow and warp more and quicker. The crown is how the board is bowing naturally from top to bottom standing verttically.You want the crown facing upward in flooring. The cupping is on the side of the board. You want the cupping to face inward to where you fasten it. If it wobbles when you put it against the other piece(rocking) flip it over. Like those parenthesis.👆 They are cupped right.)( 👈 is backwards. () 👈Is right. That's looking down the length. The Crown is the same but you want the humping facing up. ((( Left side is up. Like a bridge high side up. Hope this helps.

Get your bracing done, measure and cut your overhang. Use the 3,4,5 method to get your measurements for the first sheet. Do the same for the other side that way you make sure your sheets are perfectly aligned. Good luck
