High Security Locks - why I went with Medeco
That was helpful
not helpful. this dissertation would not persuade me to buy medeco
I forgot I had my watch on when I was working on my car and accidentally got gear oil all over the nylon strap. No matter what I do it won’t seem to come out
👍🐸👍
Thanks for the video bud

Nice! Now all you need is a UniFi cable modem added to your collection.
I'm thinking you were guessing what they could be used for and how.
Nice review! Are the buttons shanked?
Thanks for the video. It was informative.
Are you able to do a maintenance/ cleaning video of the suplerative arms gas block?
Rather lousy tutorial: First, you can barely form a sentence without many brain freezes in between, but you don't even show it!
Great Vid! Where dis you vet the battery adaptors from?
I know this is an old vid but I just have to comment. Last month my cousin ordered this set from Amazombie. What he received was aftermarket garbage, not even low grade American gatbage. These pieces of plastic ARE NOT ITW NEXUS manufactured equipment! Buyers beware.
3 years later, have you had the opportunity to use the light, late night, on the side of the road to "beat off" any monster. Seems like an odd task, but I thought it was worth a like and comment...
Super glad I watched this as I have that piston kit (carbine), and those handguards and barrel nut. I didn't think to check if they were compatible
The lock is worthless without properly reinforcing the door. A kick will easily defeat your door.
Definitely need to upgrade door and frame.
Could kick through the door panels with a steel toe shoe. Lol.
I like how that barrel nut acts as a guide for the op-rod
ASSA is way better than that medeco
How? Same company.
I got a steel door with an Abloy Protc2 deadbolt. Good luck picking, bumping or drilling an Abloy
You can actually get a bolt and a hammer and punch out the guts on the Abloy, it’s held in with a cheap copper ring
@@user-Calebculwell the police, military bases and federal law enforcement and other alphabet agencies uses it, so ill trust it over any other. Plus there is no known exploits online anywhere I could find. if you can find someone who broke into these locks send me the link.
the WebDominator is a Super attachment for things like TQs. fast and easy.
Excellent vid, thank you. My watch strap is long overdue a good clean, looks nasty 😩
Thanks
I see you putting these on individual straps. Is it hard / impossible to get them attached to molle webbing?
$200 Lock, $20 door, $10 frame.
For me it’s peace of mind knowing nobody snuck into my room and did anything or poisoned my food
I appreciate it. I was looking into these.
I built this exact handrail and SA kit make sure you dimple the barrel they will 100 be like its your fault, if your op rod bends like mine did. Although the cause was a case jaming in the charging handle slot then the bolt slammed the empty casing against the rod bending it slightly. Not noticing this was possible and a inherent design flaw. After clearing i shot two more times finishing the mag then I couldn’t clear the bolt because the rod was bent into the charging handle. Im pretty pissed their customer service is garbage they want a 100 dollars for a new rod and to drill a dimple to fix it supposedly. Get the clamp on to avoid this or dont buy, you get a jam like i did your gun is a literal paper weight.
I dimpled my barrel for the gas block. I never want to say never, but I have not to this point had any jamming issues with the rifle. I’m not even to 1000 rounds on the piston, but the rifle has a few thousand on it. I haven’t dealt with SA customer service much, but I did have to get a longer op rod, as the kit I got was for carbine length and my gas system is mid length; I had no customer service issues doing that.
what glove size do you normally wear in other gloves? the sizing chart from vertx says i should wear small but i normally wear large or XL in other gloves.
I was weighing the use of this kit on a midlength barrel and Geissele handguard. THEN, I watched your video and took note of your comment about the Aero Preision barrel nut. THANK YOU for pointing this out. I do think that the piston could use better retention, especially the longer throw of midlength systems. Ordering a Aero rail now to finish this build with confidence in its success. Thank you!
4 - 6 minutes pick that Medeco. Every time you can to meet difficult lock of every brand but in 75-85% have standard time for picking. MTL my favourite brand but that cylinder not difficult more ))) Medeco more good. Thank You for your time and interesting video 👍🔓💯 Good luck 👍🔓😁🏆☮️
Care to explain why it wouldn't work with 300blk? They make a pistol length version. Why wouldn't it work?
300BLK ammo in general, but especially subs, doesn’t produce enough pressure to reliably push the op rod from the gas block. It’s not to say you can’t do it at all, but Superior Arms won’t guarantee that it would work reliably. It would be interesting to see someone try it and what their results are. It might work better when suppressed.
If someone is going to go to the trouble of making a video to post on UA-cam, at least get SOMETHING, ANYTHING to hold the phone, camera or whatever so you have both hands free to manipulate whatever it is you are demonstrating or showing. Watching videos that fail to do this is like sitting still while someone drags their fingernails along a chalkboard.
Everyone has to start somewhere. I’m. Of to the point where I’ve made a single penny off of UA-cam yet, and this video was a few years ago at the very beginning when I was just figuring out how all this worked.
I say extend the life. I'm about to do the same. I found a made in China knockoff of the angle head. Heavy, chinsy switch, lenses that are too close in tolerance to the lense holder compartment, but LED and bright when working. Found them at tractor supply. Spent some time the other day helping my none year old figure out how to fix the switch on his. I kept thinking about how I never had issues with the Fulton except for dim lighting. My Fulton does have an LED now and I found 3xAA to D adapters. The adapters get you 4.5 V per "D" instead of 1.5 V. I recently saw a post where 14500s were used in these adapters. That would give 24V and rechargeability but I'm not sure if the light housing can take the heat of an LED that runs at that voltage. We'll find out I guess!
Keep us updated on how that goes!
Thanks, I just got these as a gift, now I know how to use them.
Did you get the added bolt assembly?
Yes. You need the s.a. Carrier to properly interface with the piston
As long as there are wooden doors and frames locks can be bypassed.
I have a Springfield Armory SOCOM II M1A. and can't figure how to mount the switch to the picatinny rail. VLTOR hand guard. Olight Warrior 3.
Does it have pic rails on the side or bottom?
Does the mount for rifle come with the flashlight or is it sold separate?
All 4 sides.@@gentlemangreyman
I have the same problem from what I’m reading is the the retainer pin is a bit off spec the buffer should stick out a few mm more so I’m looking into something called a offset detent it will let the buffer out more to touch the bolt carrier instead of slamming into the detent pin. Good luck I’m on the same boat lol
Theyre meh. Youd probably want as few as possible. Personally i like old school ruck sacks. The nylon poly stuff is bad on my hands theres a ton of straps. I got a pack of loose straps and buckles on whamazon and a grommet setter tool. Fun. 😎
I agree about a few as possible, but they are dirt cheap, so it’s not a bad thing to have.
@@gentlemangreyman for sure I basically replaced all the crappy metal pass through buckles with quick clip in buckles. So its all about ease of use.
Those carabiners could come in very handy. I have a few of those myself but they are absolutely cheap china trash. I wouldn't trust them to hold more than a pair of gloves...
Most common things I use them for are an extra hat and latching my stuff together in airport security scanner.
So how has this worked out for you after a 1 year trial?
Getting it dialed into the the exact amount of gas I wanted has taken more time than I had hoped (especially when my friend brings his can with us).
There are two holes inside of the strike plate that you haven’t utilized. You need to drill and place two three inch screws inside of that plate for additional security. I’d also invest in some weather stripping, hundreds of dollars of heating and cooling are escaping from your house with that drafty door.
Oh, it’s 3.5” screws that hold the strike plate on. The door frame is made of 4x4s (old true 4”x4”), so it’s got some good bite, but the box strike plate is inset into it, and thus doesn’t have 4 more inches before hitting the window. The air leakage around this door is small beans compared to many other spots in this 110+ year old house. I’ve been targeting them one by one, but frankly installing gasketing into the door is not a low cost modification. Thus I am just sticking with the brass weather strip that is already there
👍👍
If you want to eliminate the wear patter on the edges, caused by the buffer retaining pin; you can just *REMOVE* the pin and just be careful when you open your ar for cleaning. If you know it's (buffer weight & spring) going to fly out, you'll be ready for it and gently "catch" or stop it with your hand. It's not that hard to get used to.
@3:50 based and redpilled
What a bunch of garbage.
