@Matty-B-on-an-MTB Ahh, thank you so much, my friend, how kind of you for sending me healing vibes. 🥹 I recorded this video on August 10th when I collected my New Bike and that is when I sadly crashed. 🥲 The video of Rim Dinger was taken in July, and I have a lot of content coming in the future of my diary as learning MTB at the age of 50 plus. ☺️ This also will include lots of content that I have not shared yet, and I hope the forthcoming content of my diary learning to Ride will make you happy. ☺️ I have not tried any Black Trails yet, I have only completed the Red Trails, Viscous Valley, Surfin Bird, Wibbly Wobbly and now Rim Dinger from top to bottom, Yippee. 🥳 Hopefully, many more Red trails to try when I recover and my 1st Black trail will be Cole not Dole, my fingers are crossed. 🤞🏼 Happy Trails, my friend. 🤙🏼

@@Matty-B-on-an-MTB My goodness, I hope you were OK and did not have any serious injuries. 🤞🏼 The updates they have given to the trails at Bike Park Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 are AMAZING, 🤩 and completely blew my mind. 🥹 I knew changes had been made and updates to the trails had taken place but…WOW 🤩 it was incredible. From the small changes on Sixtapod, the slightly bigger but fantastic changes on Wibbly Wobbly and Viscous Valley, to the stunning updates on Melted Welly making it my new #1 Blue trail at the park, it a SUPERB day and the trails were all so dreamy. ☺️ I just know you will have a fantastic time and can’t wait to hear a hear about it when you return home, and hope you will update me here about your visit, my friend. ☺️ Sending you positive vibes ✊🏼 and wishing you many, many Happy Trails, my friend. 🤙🏼

@@JJsMTB Well I think you are one of the mildest mannered and chatty you tubers i have chatted to here! Love it!🤩 It was sixtapod where i hit the tree funnily enough, my fave trail there - pending Monday! I just landed a little off centre, veered right and clattered a conifer! Luckily, i'd just switched to full face helmet! Just dented my pride! A470 was closed this time last year, so looking forward to seeing what they have done to that, and it was the old vicious valley too, so going to spend the morning helping my girlfriend get down VV after warming up on sixtapod, then in the afternoon i desperately want to ride A470, AC-DC and Coal not Dole! Maybe pushing myself a bit far, but we'll see! I'm not the best jumper, but i love drops! There is a video on my channel of my tree incident last year, BTW. Although it was made on an old Chinese go-pro imitation camera that was pretty shakey at best! I have a newer go-pro now, so will post some footage next week, although have promised the girlfriend she can wear it more than me on Monday, as it always seems to be footage of me! Ride safe buddie - and have another subscription on me! 😁

@@JJsMTB I think I bumped into you at Dowies one weekend, when you were out with your crew. You can't really go far wrong with any of the DTV folk, since they're interspersed with other riding groups, all really good, and are pretty chill with no pressure. Y2K, once you've nailed it is rewarding. That being said, I'm keen on the proposals for what the Night Riders have got on Enduro Hill, whether that's maintaining the established trails. But it will give folk more natural options that are a bit "wild"

@@Titot182 I completely understand and am doing my very best to improve, and I feel, as mentioned Group Rides and coaching, especially with DTV members showing me trails I was not aware of have blown me away. I only started MTB at the age of 50 last year, and I’ve enjoyed my small improvements with these LEGENDS 🙌🏼 and still believe that every day is a school day for me. 😉 Sending you my best wishes and I hope you enjoy the trails and maybe you may also wish to join the LEGENDS 🙌🏼 that have inspired me from a facebook group and DTV. 🥹 This is why I call everyone in MTB absolute LEGENDS 🙌🏼 for welcoming me and making me feel so comfortable. 🥹

@@Titot182 KUDOS, 🤙🏼 and well done for coaching her and helping her to smash the trails. ☺️ I have so much to learn, and so much more to do in order to become more confident, and competent, and I am being a tiny bit better as I break down a trail as you can see that I have reviewed the section I was unsure of, and the Sessioning, and practice, practice and more practice without a coach to make me feel more comfortable. 🥹 Learning to take a trail and break it down when you are unsure and on your own, as you can see in this video I was on my own after being shown this trail for the first time, and breaking it down to session I do believe this has helped me a tiny bit. 🥹 Small progress is good for me, riding each time and making small improvements in tiny steps has helped me, and really made me feel a little more confident from what I have learned from the LEGENDS on Group Rides have taught me. ☺️ For me, Group Rides, coaching and time in the saddle has made a huge difference to me, and honestly humbled me in making small improvements. 🤞🏼 Sending you and your wife many, Happy Trails, my friend. 🤙🏼

Sadly, the POC Arm Pads slipped up exposing my elbow, and that is what caused the issue meaning I had to visit A&E. I then gave them to @Dean_trail_volunteers to sell to help money to build trails, and instead purchased G-Form Pro XD Knee and Arm pads. They are so much more secure and lightweight they have even given me a boost in confidence. 😊 Happy Trails, my friend. 🤙🏼
