Brain Jacker doesn't actually work if it's destroyed by battle, the effect starts a chain but after it resolves it's still destroyed so your opponent keeps their monster. You'd need to protect it with a waboku or something. Still a cool card nonetheless.

You should definitely play 3 fusion destiny in competitive play, there are combo lines that play around fusion destiny and its just very good if your combo gets stopped because atleast you end with dpe

One approach I've done with my own Fossil Adamancipator deck that's seen exemplary results. I personally cut down on the Links to slot in Naturia Barkion and Naturia Exterio, with two coppies of The Earth: Hex Sealed Fusion in main deck. Paired with Researcher and all the easy swarming she enables, tuning with any of the Earth lvl. 4 or 3 rocks along with Hex Sealed Fusion instantly leads to Exterio with minimal effort, shut down more than a few decks in my experience.

I used to run the same Pyramid Turtle core with a Horus core + Jinzo and won a few locals as well 😁

Vampire lords discard effect is mandatory.

One tech choice is Card of Safe Return; killing Vampy outside of battle now gets you an extra draw and it synergizes with of Book of Life as well.

This deck is really cool, but please pay attention to the counters while you´re playing.

I used this and made a few changes. After playing it at locals with some friends I made a few changes and found some better synergies. Overall a fantastic goat deck you have here!

Evil eye unleashed is practically full combo by itself. No idea why you bothered showing it with Medusa and creating an arguably weaker end board. >unleashed send basiltrice and gorgon, search selene >activate gorgon add field spell, discard selene >field spell, add serziel >normal serziel, add basilius >sp basilius and dump another unleashed (you can't send monsters) >sp summon basiltrice from GY >activate selene in gy, banish first unleashed >activate selene target serziel >rank 3 into darius, overlay into machinex. This is 4 potential interrupts and used 1.5 fewer cards and didn't illegal send basiltice to GY using basilius. You can also go for 3 interrupts by making gossip instead of Machinex, this way gives you an earlier non-target monster 'negate'. But otherwise Machinex steals their normal summon by detatching basiltrice and basilius, denying them material. Serziel pops their first sp summon. Machinex steals their next sp summon. Basiltrice sp summons itself from GY (it was detached as material). Activates to link summon zerrziel using itself, serziel and selene (can also go gorgon). Unleashed banishes itself from GY to equip selene to zerrziel (gorgon). Zerriel (gorgon) pop (negate) 1 card (monster). It can also pop (negate) another (again) in the draw/standby phase to get another trigger of selene before its mandatory effect for a total of 3 selene activations.
