Bro, first of all this line is exactly for not to get the Secret Village, that's why it ends with 2 spell/trap negates, and you can say it's more Strong because Imperm on Dad, Impulse on Dyna Mondo effect (Impulse or Imperm as 6th card), Evenly Matched is played, so since you have 2/3 spell/trap negates it's more flexible (against Lab it's better, more played now) the argument for Secret Village use is based on negated every spell (with mulcharmys being played is a Strong point, if we play that line we don't care much about that) and because of DRNM and Droplets, about the last 2 the counter trap take care of that. Second, why do you want to play bricks in your deck if you already have a GOD board??

Nope, those cards are limited to 1 in Goat. It's basically the only legacy format where you can play those cards

Hey I'm glad you found the channel again! I did take a break on uploading for about a year. I would say to substitute 2 Novas, I would play 1 copy of One for One, and either I extra copy of Gamma or Delta, or a copy of Preparation of Rites. Just adding some consistency cards should adequately replace Nova. It won't be the same, but it will help.

Love Drytron Meteroa. Too many Drytron players sleep on that one. Since you are Ritual Summoning on thier turn, it opens up the opportunity to use another busted trap card: Ritual Buster. It's an oldie buy goodie, damn near skips an opponents turn. Droll is everywhere. I wouldn't play the fairy version as it's a brickfest imo.

One question MrLinux, if you play the trap card you have to search it anyways, the ONLY way to play around droll there is if you hard Open it, am I correct? Cause you can only search with Fafnir and the Ultimate Ursartic. So the only way is just to hard Open it or Open Fafnir and instead of using the search on nova using on the trap? The trap you speak about is a brick, so replacing a brick with a "brick" doesn't seem to be a wise choice, you need to have the materiais anyways and the ritual spell that if need to search, so what you're talking about doesn't seem a viable option to me Instant Fusion, called by and Crossout seems better choices With the Fairy engine it seems more Pure than this that runs a brick (trap) cause Secret Village is a soft brick, you can play terraforming and if you hard Open it you can go for this line of play instead of Fairy Dragon, so you're able to play both ways.

​@@Lightwillshine The question begins with an error, in both cases "Droll & Lock Bird" annihilates the entire strategy by itself, but with the pure version it is capable of leaving "DA D" in the field. Do you really put all your hope in a limited card like "Terraforming"? instead of "Meteoroa Drytron" that they have counting (3 fields, 1 specific monster search engine, 3 copies of the monster that can be added to the aforementioned one) your logic doesn't add up to me. Many times a single "Infinite Impermanence" to "Drytron Mu Beta Fafnir" is enough to win the duel, however, with "Meteoroa Drytron" I have been able to ritual summon the opponent's turn and at least leave a competent field, not the best but always invoking the boos monster of the entire archetype, not to mention that it is one of the only ways to deal with the problem that is the bystial.

@@MrLiNuX159 Maybe I didn't explain me correctly. My 1st question still stands. The play you are able to make with the trap is a good play but for you to do that you need the trap, correct? How do you get the trap under Droll & Lock, since the major point of your argument to use the trap is that it's good to play if you get Drolled. Or the trap is good if they Dimensional Barrier you? And the Pure Version is good against Droll? If they Call Ritual with D. Barrier, you make Fucho and you don't need to play a brick

I'm pretty sure most Goat tournaments allow the sets of Dark Begining 2 and Tournament Pack 6. Both of which had Toon Table of Contents. The format should be the April 2005 banlist through every release before Cybernetic Revolution, unless I'm missing something...

Yes that's a very fair question. In my opinion, it's nice being able to have the trap to negate stuff like Droplet, DRNM, & Evenly Matched. Now, the SV line also lets you negate the spells, but unless you are able to extend into extra bodies, your opponent could still have traps that are live. I feel like the only card I'm ever afraid of is Super Poly, which doesn't see much play right now. Another small thing is that the Batobuster board ends on more bodies, so it's less suseptible to Kaijus, Lava Golem, or even Sohere mode. The other boards end on 2 or 3 monsters only. If hit by a lava golem, your DAD and SV are offline, and now SV will be negating you. The last thing is that I think you get more useful extra deck slots. And in the main deck, you play searchable ritual monster. The other build sort of relies on you getting to fafnir and using all of your resources to make AFD, pop the field spell and go into a Spellcaster...I'd rather just search for a Ritual monster and play the 1 brick. Both builds are great though and have their merrits. You make a good point about auto shutting off some of the big board breakers. Not worrying about Super Poly is a big one

@@commoncollector713 Ahh I see what you mean I guess even with the secret village version you won't really be able to put out any spell/trap negates so evenly matched can wipe the board too.

Yeah, that's usually what gets me. I think it would be nice if there was a reliable way to get enough bodies to make a Fenrir on your end board for a Trap negate, but idk if that's possible with the number of bodies that would take

​@@commoncollector713 in your first combo of test Hand, you could had DAD on the 4th Summon, choosing the line of search for zeta, dump benten, get benten and the ritual spell, dump benten summon gamma, get diviner, xyz summon, dump NU, make the monster negate, summon NU, get Ultimate Ursartic, summon diviner, dump Herald, get the third benten, recover the ritual spell,etc etc. You would be able to do the combo anyway right?

I guess thats a valid point. Alpha & Zeta pitching Benten, and making a Mu Beta for an immediate DAD is the safest play, but the bystials are still probably going to drop at some point. Unless you're thinking of a different route

@@Tem-Wizard extremely! The most expensive card in the deck was “Brave eyes pendulum dragon”. Crystal clear wing was also kind of spendy but you can replace it with crystal wing syncro dragon.

I have rebuilt the deck after some thought.i just haven't profiled it yet. I spoke with another hero player and he set me straight on 3 Fusion Destiny. Definitely a needed 3-of.

Most def at 3. It's too good of a combo starter and to bait your opponent. Either way. You're getting DPE with or without it. Other than that. Pretty standard build for the most part. I run a 60 Card HERO Deck IRL. I have never seen the deck play so well at 60. Me personally, I'm trying to find a way to combo into Contrast HERO Chaos.

While yes this is the primary problem now id also like to bring up that appo itself is basically just a one sided skill drain in the extra deck for all intents and purposes in a lot of cases. I think appo in and of itself as an endboard piece is a problem too lol

Yes, I did miss that point... I do think overall, I will be fairly happy if Appolousa gets hit on the banlist. Nibiru is definitely going to be way more viable as a main or side deck handtrap. Either way, I don't care much if it stays or goes, but it seems like the community is done with this card.
