Nessa, I just finished reading a wonderful children’s graphic novel, and I think you’d like it. It is called ‘Bog Myrtle’ by Sid Sharp. It is funny, strange,and also has beautiful messages about kindness, respecting the environment, and sustainably. It also has charming illustrations. Thank you for another lovely video! I know there are people who like to separate authors and their works, but whilst he is a talented author, I no longer wish to support him and will no longer recommend his books as I want Brews & Books to be a safe place for everyone. I love your new(?) Cup. So cute! Have you read the grown up portal fantasy The Fionavar Tapestry trilogy by Guy Gavriel Kay? Such a beautiful, dark and poetic series. Fantastic forest scenes! I liked reading what you had to say of it! I also read The Girl Who Drank the Moon a few years ago and loved that too. Great list of books! I enjoyed learning about books I hadn't heard of before too. A Girl Called Owl seems lovely.

I have only read one of these and that's The Girl Who Drank the Moon. I loved it. One of the great things about middle grade books is how they can whisk me away back to my early childhood when I read these kinds of books. It's such a great feeling!

Uprooted will always be one of my favourite books! ❤ I also liked Silver in the Wood. And A River Enchanted is on my TBR because I liked Divine Rivals by the same author. I love middle grade books. The Girl Who Drank the Moon is one of my favorites. I have a cat named Luna and when I read that book, she was still a kitten. There's a line about Luna finding new ways to get into trouble and it fit her so well. It made me laugh. I still say "Luna, Luna, my Luna" to her too.

The Ogress and the Orphans was so good. 😊 That dessert looked good, too! Of course, everything you make looks divine! ❤📚
