Chena River Kayak Fishing: Fairbanks Alaska
A quick trip down the chena river with the family. Floated from Nordale road all the way to the pump house. Made a few casts we picked up a couple grayling and a pike.
Usually get consistent hits on small grubs / jigs for both grayling and pike in the summers.

October 2023 we went in pursuit of deer and elk on Raspberry and Afognak Islands. We spent 5 days hiking and glassing and successfully found many smaller blacktail but nothing that we wanted to harvest. 2021-2022 Season August... weather constantly changing as Alaska interior always seems to do. Sunshine and sweating one minute and the next soaked in a cold rain mixed with sleet. Its a different type of hunting up here. Way out off the steese highway we embarked on another caribou hunt with some friends from out of state.
