I just got one for my third gen Tacoma and I absolutely love it. After all of my research I concur that this is the best cap for the money out there. It’s sturdy and rugged. Solidly built. I was told they will be offering a pass through window kit soon that can be retrofitted into any cap you get from them currently. Looking forward to that!

Can you get it without the “Taco Vinyl” brand in it? I noticed on the topographical print every door says it.

One piece caps like Alu-Cab are fully welded and much stronger. Alu-Cab products are also hand made in South Africa. There is simply no comparison between this and an Alu-Cab so yes they should be a fraction of cost.

Great video, just know if you have a Canadian car or have the oem block heater it is a lot more difficult because the block heater plug is extremely difficult to remove so you have to do the install on the ground. Everything else is the same though.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but why are the screws a foot long when they only need to be about a half inch. And they gold. The screws are more noticeable than the badge

Try and not pick up the material then squeege. You will have a bunch of glue lines/orange peel. Lay it down then squeege for best results 👌🏻

Can the grill fit in with stock shroud ?

A potential downside to this new design is those 90-degree bends on the side rails. With the old design, you could mount things all the way to the edge and they could hang over while sitting flush to the cross bars. Now that can't be done because the side rails are taller than the cross bars, which are recessed.
