STURGATE STRAIGHT 2024 | FUN SPRINT
We ventured north to Sturgate Airfield for a spot of testing and some blasts down the runway. Luckily for us the weather was amazing, light wind and sunshine all day and for only £20 you get to do as many runs as you want. That make sit perfect for testing or just having a blast. Mersea Island Scooter rally is all about having fun and it did not disappoint with the games in the games arena. I did miss a few but here are the ones I did watch starting with the tug of war. As always the teams get in the sprit of things with a bit of fancy dress. Followed by the funny 'chucky egg' game that had us in stitches. Lastly but not least is the ledgenary 'BEERS and BANANAS' game.....

Funny you put Russ in a parka and said he forgot the Zimmer cos the only time I ever saw Russ run…I was with him (Zimmerman) and he had a parka on we went to Reading 1982 and a load of casuals in Reading saw me him and his bro started chasing us chanting, “We are the mods” and caught me in a doorway and gave me a few digs! will this still be a speedo if I only connect the speedo cable - ( I don't run my series 2 with a battery)
@@timcoffey5927 I have never tried it as a Speedo without it being wired up, the readout is digital so I guess you need to wire it in to the power. You don’t need to run a battery the Speedo.
Once you get a puncture at the side of the road, that exhaust will be changed for a box pipe.

I’ve fitted a new vape sport system but getting no spark. I’ve got good earths as done continuity tests on all the wiring CDI / regulator so noting is loose. I’ve fitted the 4 wire loom without a battery and an MB ignition switch. But still getting no spark. Timing set to 24 degrees . Any ideas?
Normally its an earthing issue, but it's really a stab in the dark over the internet without seeing it.
@@Shedtune_Russ I’ve managed to get a spark on the ht lead but no spark on plug when fitted, I’ve two different Ngk caps two different ngk rated plugs all are new. My timing is set at 24 degrees as it’s the sport vape, a friend suggested to restart timing to 23 degrees
@@mikecowdrey2891 if it’s sparking at the plug then it should be sparking in the cylinder. Check else where, fuel etc.
@Shedtune_Russ no spark on plug just spark on the HT lead. I've tried 2 caps and plugs

Is it the rechargeable version, or the one with the 9V External Battery?

Best Rally by far this year,mersea was always my favourite,best amenities for washing and the food hall is the best(gone up £2 since last year)it may not be a national rally but better than most👍roll on next year 😀
