Dungeon Tile Storage for Cheap!!! Tabletop Gaming Terrain Hack
Dungeon Tile Storage for Cheap!!! Tabletop Gaming Terrain Hack
When it comes to "Piles of Shame" people typically are referring to unpainted wargaming minis. My Pile of Shame is how I store all my crafted tabletop terrain. More like a Pile of Madness All my projects find their way into Amazon boxes. Which is super annoying since they are in so many different boxes.
In this video, I finally solve for that with this cheap solution. This is definitely one of those tips that I wish I discovered earlier.

DIY Workspace Extension for Small Hobby Desk - Improving My Setup for Terrain Building

This DIY workspace extension I made really expanded my small crafting desk setup for all my terrain building. I recently sold my laptop and bought a desktop pc and monitor that take a lot of space and aren't exactly transportable. Great build. I'm in the middle of roofing mine so this is relaxing to watch someone else doing it!
Glad you enjoy it! Keep going after it!
Brilliant
Excellent tip on the Skubbs! Just ordered some for my graveyard tiles, cheers!
Fantastic!
I've seen a LOT of dungeon tiles and these are by far some of the best. I love the details and the paint job. You're a legend sir.
Thanks, that means a lot!
Hey thanks for the video! What can I use instead of electrostatic grass? I have zero equipment and I'm on a low budget...
That’s a great question! I’m not sure, but I bet there is something out there. Maybe a balloon 🎈???
Years ago I saw a DIY video for making rock molds and one thing that has always stuck with me for making really strong molds is at about the 3rd layer or so, put strips of bandage material on top of the newest coat of molding material while it is still wet. That will integrate the bandage material into the mold and make it stronger. Hope that helps.
WAAAAAAY too fast to see what you are doing.
You can watch the multiple episode series where I break this down step by step. They are my first videos on the channel. This is just a soothing Timelapse of all those videos.
One of the most incredible craft video i've seen. Congrats, that's awesome work !
Thank you!
Perfect! Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks man.
Thank you for making this video! I first saw it years ago and bookmarked it in my brain as THE way to do flocking. Using the alcohol spray to harden the modpodge is a great tip. I was finally able to try it out and it worked perfectly!
I’m so glad!
Tendrias las medidas en papel para poder hacerlo nosotros?
Por casualidad tendrás planos?
Super
GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! YOU JUST MADE MY DAY. THANK YOU FOR THIS!
wow this one is great
Fantastic!!! Very Nice! Nicely done. And thanks for sharing 👍👍
I wonder if you took a sheet of self adhesive magnet (think fridge magnets but letter paper sized) glued to that felt sheet would be effective, and able to roll up for storage and transport? If the magnetic sheet is strong enough you could even glue a small vinyl grid to the other side.
I’ve had a similar idea before. I’ve even bought some big sheets of paper sized magnets but they aren’t very strong if I remember. At least the one I used.
The work of a MASTER!! Beautiful build, well done.
Thank you!
You make it look so easy. Beautiful piece of work. Love it and thanks for sharing 👍👍🙏🏼
Well that my friend is the magic of editing! It’s always a struggle believe me.
Fantastic !!! Amazing you make it look so easy. Thank You for sharing your video. Loved it.👍👍
Это потрясающе красиво! Браво мастеру! Мечтаю сделать такую же, думаю мне ещё многому предстоит научится. Это была услала для глаз, спасибо!
I only learned how to do this stuff from actually doing it. I’d never done it before either!
I need this medieval house on my table stat. Amazing artistry good sir.
Thank you!
Amazing! Bravo!
Dónde puedo obtener los planos y medidas?
I love the green / yellow with moss application -- looks great!! thanks for sharing
Beautiful build!
this is so good, hoping i can build a real one.
Thank you for this, would an electric grinder work?
I guess it might depend on the grinder? I wouldn’t put foam into my electric coffee grinder. I rarely use my blender but I use my grinder every day!
Might try magnet sheets that have a sticky back. Typically used turning business card or sticker into fridge magnets
This is a idea that I'm considering for a while. Might try this week
I’ve experimented with it. Those magnet sheets aren’t very strong.
I always wondered why in such buildings the stove heats the street
Beautiful! It makes me so happy that after this great build, you took the time to give it this fantastic paint job. It just really makes it. Really fun to watch. Gotta get me one of those Shifting Lands fences for my foam cutter. You reminded me...again.
It makes life so much better.
Can you link to where the 3D printed files came from.
Out of curiosity why didn't you just glue with grippy Matt the same kind that you would find in a drawer or on a shelf.
This is absolutely incredible! What an incredibly underrated channel!
Well I didn’t really stick with it so it’s the result of my own efforts! 😅
Well done
awesome
So the "moss" is just the fake grass?
this ... was exactly what I was looking for. MOdular water / swamp terrain WITH magnets AND resin! It's the perfect project! Thank you for posting it! (Even if I am a little late.) Fantastic job!
Awesome build!
You should try acrylic floor tile.
It's amazing! You are a great master! From Russia with love from Terrane fans!
pennies are cheap...and heavy.
And gross lol
thank, you for sharing you're video.👍
Those look fabulous!
Only i say is WOW
Doing a fairy themed rook makeover, and wanted to add some faux moss, but couldn't find a method I liked. I'll have to try this out!
Stainless steel is magnetic. I bought thin (0.5mm) stainless sheets with the intention of magnetising my tiles.
I did this too. Glued them to a board even and added trimming to the sides to protect against the sharp edges. I now just have a magnet in the bottom of every tile and use these metal announcement boards from IKEA.
