In today's video we are removing all the Fairings except for the Nose Cowl. This will be the first of FIVE videos leading up to a full Dyno Tune at Moore Mafia in South Carolina.
1. Disassemble Fairings
2. Delete Emissions
3. Install Graves Full Titanium/Carbon Exhaust
4. Reassemble the Fairings
5. Dyno Tune/ECU Flash at Moore Mafia

Instructions with Time Stamps:
1. Intro/Parts/Tools 00:53
2. Remove Left/Right Dash Cowls: 03:27
- Each with 3 Push Pins
- Each with 1 Black Fairing Screw.
3. Remove Rider Seat and Pillion Cowl. 04:20
4. Remove Lower Left/Right Fuel Tank Cowls: 04:24
- Dash Cowls Share the Same Black Fairing Screw.
- Each with 1 Gromet Post, 2 Hooks, 3 Velcro Tabs.
5. Disconnect Battery: 04:32
- Disconnect Negative Terminal first.
- Disconnect Positive Terminal second.
6. Remove Top Left/Right Tail Cowl: 04:48
- Each with 2 Push Pins.
- Each with 1 Small Fairing Screw and a Nylon Washer.
- Each with 2 Long Fairing Screws and a Nylon Washers.
- Each with 2 Gromet Posts.
- Each with a Small Fragile Hook at the rear.
7. Remove Top Center Tail Cowl: 05:28
- 2 Long Fairing Screws.
- 2 Phillips Head Plastic Screw Pins.
- Remove Servo Motor Cables from Cable Retainer on bottom right side.
8. Remove Left/Right Lower Fairings: 05:36
- Each has 2 long Fairing Screws and Nylon Washers.
- Each has 1 Collared Bolt and a Nylon Washer.
- 1 Push Pin at the bottom, front connecting both Lowers.
9. Remove Middle Under-Nose Shroud: 06:02
- Nine Push Pins.
- The Push Pin used closest to the Steering Stem, on the right as you face the Nose of the bike, has a longer Neck.
10. Remove Left/Right Mid-Outer Fairings: 06:48
- Each has 1 Bolt towards the front.
- Each has 3 Gromet Posts at the rear.
- Each has 1 Large Hook in the center.
- Each has 1 Hook at the Nose.
- Detach the Coolant Reservoir Overflow Hose from the inner bottom of the Right Mid-Outer Fairing.
11. Remove Left Mid-Inner Fairing: 07:25
- Remove 8mm bolt from Top, Left of Fairing.
- Remove 2 Collared Bolts on the front and rear.
- Disconnect Turn Signal from the Harness.
- Remove Turn Signal Wire from Wire Harness Retainer.
- 1 Gromet Post at the front.
- Remove 4 Self-Tapping Phillips Head Screws fastened to the Rectifier and left Mid-Inner Fairing.
12. Remove Right Mid-Inner Fairing: 08:12
- Remove 8mm bolt from Top, Right of Fairing.
- Remove 2 Collared Bolts on the front and rear.
- 1 Gromet Post at the front.
- Disconnect Turn Signal from the Main Harness
- Remove Turn Signal Wire from Wire Retainer.
13. Remove Battery Retaining Bracket: 08:47
- Remove 3 Bolts.
- Remove Battery.
- Disconnect Fuel Pump Wire Connector.
- Remove Fuel Wire Connector from Battery Retaining Bracket.
Remove Fuel Tank:
- Remove 2 Bolts on Steering Damper Bracket and Front of Fuel Tank.
- Rest the Steering Damper over the top of the Upper Triple Tree.
- Disconnect Fuel Overflow and Fuel Vapor Hoses.
- Cap off the Fuel Overflow and Fuel Vapor Outlets on the Fuel Tank.
- Prop up the Front of the Fuel Tank.
- Disconnect the Fuel Line from the Fuel Tank.
- Cap off the Fuel Line.
- Cap off the Fuel Outlet on the Fuel Tank.
- Lay the Fuel Tank back into its original position.
- Remove the Bolt at the rear of the Fuel Tank.
- Lift Fuel Tank Straight Up and set on a soft surface without resting on the Fuel Outlet.
