I would have to think tig is very close to oxyacetylene welding, definitely go 240v you wont be disappointed

A for effort, But your next prob will be they sit on top of it and poop a lot. So solution would be to make the top at a slant so they can't sit on top of it

I recommend using 100% helium for tig not argon. 100% argon works for tig but not recommended it’s better for mig welding

You need to make sure the top cleat is parallel with the top edge of the box when attaching, not level because the box isn’t sitting on level ground

You did such a good job explaining the build except for the floor pieces. You didn’t say anything about the angle, or why you did that as separate floor pieces instead of cutting the angle and doing it as one sheet. I feel like that’s the most crucial part of this whole build. How did you measure the angle for that slant? How long are those pieces? How did you secure it? Why are there little triangles on the bottom?

Just picked one of these up myself and intend to use it for stick welding. I've never welded before & I'd like to learn the skill. My first attempts my 1/8 7018 rods were sticking to the metal. The manual said if that happens to flip the ground probe to the positive terminal on the machine and vice-versa. Of course I saw that after I felt like a failure at welding. 😂 So I have yet to do that in practice, plus I felt uneasy about it. Now that I saw you too had to do that I feel a bit more comfortable. I'll have to keep practicing! Lord knows my vehicles are in desperate need of some welds and I need to "get good" with the skill. It would be a great skill to have for many things around the house and in mechanics. Thanks for the video! You've helped me want to retry without so much anxiety.
